gaming Does anypony know what im talking about?

So, I have been playing Star Fox Adventures here lately. And the level that I am on is called Lightfoot Village. Here is a photo to refresh one's memory.

No, I don't need any help, im just asking. As I was monkeying around on the level, I noticed that there is a big tree, in the forest part somewhere. It has a big hole. The pic above isn't it. But, this tree just had this big hole and it looked like it could lead to somewhere??

I have no pic to show, but I was wondering if anypony knows what im talking about or if they know what it is.

sadly I do not recall what area you're talking about

But I do remember the game when it came out and getting it.

Still haven't dedicated time to learning how to speak "dino" from the manual

Knowing that game, it's entirely possible it was supposed to lead to somewhere at some time in the development, but it no longer actually does anything.  I'd chock it up to leftover game design and move on.
