I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose... 

 

Rapture.

 

A city where the artist would not fear the censor.

Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality.

Where the great would not be constrained by the small.

 

And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city, as well."

 

 

Welcome to Rapture, the greatest architectural feat in the history of mankind! An underwater city designed to be a playground for the geniuses who wish not to be constrained by petty mortality and the limits of the world above, unknown to the surface dwellers.

 

However, on New Year's Eve in 1960, your boat sinks and you and several other survivors make it to a nearby lighthouse, only to be transported down to witness a most terrible tragedy. Stuck in the city, you begin to discover that beneath all its grandeur and beauty, Rapture isn't the place that it pretends to be...

 

This roleplay is obviously based heavily off the Bioshock series. I take no credit for the creation of Rapture.

 

In this roleplay you will play in a group of ponies stuck in Rapture after a terrible accident. You can choose to attemt to escape to your surface home, or begin to take advantage of what is before you, for "good" or for "evil", whether it be dealing Plasmids, hacking machines, or secretly plotting with the founder, Cas Anghenfil, and the creator of the Little FIllies, Seirian Dee.

 

Plasmids will be present in the roleplay; however, you can only choose four that you would like to use. If you are a unicorn, you are not able to use them. However, your magic is also somehow limited while you're under the ocean...

You can also choose three weapons from the game.

 

Depending on the interest level for the roleplay I'll determine how many will be accepted.

 

Though this may be a normal RP and not an advanced one, please keep posting to a minimum. I'm not all that active, so I may need to get someone to act as my backup.

 

Now that that's over with, on to the rules!

 

RULES:

1. No alicorns, no exceptions.

2. No Mary Sues. You're living in one of the most violent and terrifying cities in the world. 

3. No OP'ing. If I think you're overdoing something, I'll give you a fair warning. If you persist, I will have to ask you to leave.

4. You cannot kill one another without explicit permission.

5. Up to three active characters.

6. Keep the gore and cursing levels down. I don't mind it, but the mods do, so let's not get in trouble.

6.  If you're a unicorn, no plasmids. If you're a pegasus, you get two plasmids, not four.

7. If you have any special requests (such as wishing to work with Cas, the founder), bring them to me.

And I'm just curious, do we get all our weapons and plasmids at one moment in time? Or do we get them as we progress into the roleplay like in the game?

One question though: Is it required that you must know a good bit about Bioshock to play in this?

It's recommended that you have at least a basic understanding of the different areas, the main characters (who will be ponified) and the Plasmids.

If you don't it might be a little confusing.

Ah, that's good. I looked up the different kinds of plasmids before even commenting in this. Ill go ahead and post my pon3 in the character bio page subtopic thing and look at everyone else's ponies~
