Physical Adaptations in Equestria Girls

So basically what I'm asking here is how will physical differences of each of the mane six (wings, horns) translate to their human forms in Equestria Girls? Will they physically still have those things or will it just be adapted in some way? For example, would RD just be a great runner and jumper instead of wings? And I don't even know how they'd handle magic, unless they wanna give Twilight and Rarity telekinesis or something, which I doubt.

 

Anyone have any other thoughts on this?

It is confirmed that Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle all have wings, but for some reason, nopony has a horn including Twilight and Rarity. So, it's 3 winged characters, and 3 wingless characters.

Ahh yes I just saw the NY Times article and picture... Interesting choice to give Twilight the wings... Well, thank goodness it won't have any effect on FiM is all I can say!

Well technically they are anthropomorphic.

What this word means is giving human like qualities to animals in this case.

 

I say this because looking at their designs again I noticed that they still have their pony like ears.

Also I say this because of the wings that the winged characters posses.

 

So they are actually anthropomorphic, not neccesarly human, but not neccesarly ponies as well.

 

(although I have to ask why they chose to give all of them long hair).

Given that we have two pictures, both of which have identical outfits but have some differences in detail and slight differences in art style, whichever studio Hasbro has licensed this out to is probably still working out the model sheets. Likely what we've seen so far won't be the absolute final product. (I hope not, anyway. All the characters in skirts seems odd. Why not Rainbow Dash in track suit pants, at least?)
