Melody's heart jumped when one of the ponies from the group introduced themselves. "Oh sorry I'm Melody. Also known as the shy vocalist for my band Simplistica." Melody smiled at the dark red pegasus. He was nice and he had a gentle tone to his voice which made her feel a little more at ease to be around. She gave a warm smile to Flare as she continued on with the group.

"I don't think this was a prank, but I am curious as to what you think happened." Pia turned back and examined the new pony who has just joined the group. 

 

 

Everyone's starting to get restless she noted. 

 

"Maybe we should all get to know each other, even though Draco's not here, since it looks as though we're going to be spending a lot of time together."

Draco looked at the spots thuroughly as he was looking for clues on who did it. He had a guess but it was just that a guess "Excuse me kind guard can you tell me how the perp how past the magical wards?" Draco asked as he looked at the unicorn guard. The gears within his head turning. He sighed as he started to pace once more. "Oh sorry I have a bad habit of pacing,"

The Guard shook his head. "That's what we would like to know. We think its someone who is skilled in breaking barriers, a unicorn. Although if you look up you can see something else perplexing." The Guard's horn lit up as he pointed to the sky above. There were sparkling red particles in the area above the missing item. "We think it was the work of a Unicorn and Pegasus team." The guard said.

"Right now, we are just walking to the mountains. Judging from the distance i say it will take us a day to get there. When we reach the mountains i can tell you what i have concocted." Delia said as she looked over Melody. She then heard Pia suggest something to the group.

"Most excellent idea. If we knew more about each other this trip would be fun." Delia said as she brightened up a little. She then blushed a little. I do not know how to introduce myself. I think i will follow by example. she thought as she shook her head around

"hmm is it possible that the culperate used the shadows? I mean I've been to the zebra lands and ssome of them are able to meld to the shadows themselves," Draco mused aloud as he began to think. Pia turned toward Flare as he introduced himself. She flashed him a smile and said "Nice to meet you Flare, I'm Piacevole but everyone just calls me Pia"

 

She then turned to the others in the group expectantly, waiting for them to introduce themselves.

Melody nodded as she continued walking with the rest of the group as she introduced herself to everypony that was there. It wasn't long before she was humming away. It was supposed to be the new song she had been working on for the Queen and King of the Crystal Empire. She stopped humming long enough to catch up with Flare. "So um Flare what do you do exactly?"

Delia wasn't very good with learning other cultures ways. She decided to give introducing herself a shot. "I am called Delia and i come from a small village outside of Saddle Arabia. As you can tell i am not familiar with your kinds ways. Also, it seems to be getting cold. I am used to hot weather all the time."

Draco slowly rose to the air and flew back to the ground thinking. "I wonder how the suspect got through those wards. I suspect it's someone very powerfull in dark magic. I need to ride this air current to see where it floats me," Draco thought to himself. He saw the group of ponies. He gave  them a whistle as he hover infront of them. "Hello beautifull mares and gentle stallions miss me?" Draco asked jokingly.

Melody smiles as she listens to Flare surprised that he wants to learn guitar. Her ears suddenly perk up when she catches him humming one of her bands songs. Her eyes lite up as she looks at Flare "Wow I didn't think anypony knew our songs. I mean we are such a new band still." Melody was ecstatic with the knowledge that she'd possibly found their first fan.

Pia glanced over at Melody as the mare introduced herself. Pia turned and smiled at Delia as she spoke. "It's nice to meet you as well. Tell me how did a Zebra such as yourself end up around here, leading a group on a quest for the queen no less?"

 

She spotted Draco approaching and he addressed the group. "Hello Draco, we were just introducing ourselves. How about you go and then tell us what you've found?"

Melody squeed at the compliment that she'd just gotten from Flare. "That's so nice of you to say Flare. Not many ponies have heard of us yet but I really love meeting those that enjoy our music." She couldn't believe that she had actually met a fan. For the first time in her life she felt like she was finally accomplishing something. She started humming away with Flare this time performing a duet with him on the song.

The zebra mare was exotic in his eyes but he had work to do. Draco smiled as he looked at the group. "Honestly it sounds crazy even to me," he thought to himself. Flare stopped humming and payed attention to what Draco was saying. "What did you find Draco did you learn anything" Flare asked curious on what Draco found at the crime scene. "Also why does it sound crazy" Flare said waiting for Draco to explain what he found

Melody heard what Draco had said and it sent a chill down her spine. "Oh if it is really Sombra do you think we can handle him? Wouldn't it be best for the harmony users to take him on than us?" Melody wasn't a fool she knew what Sombra could do and it was quite terrifying. But she had to admit the scariness aside she was having some fun with this mission she was on.

Pia walked towards Draco as he explained his theory. "I'm Piacevole, Pia for short. You're idea does seem out-thereout-there, but it is conducive with your findings. And we can't rule out even the craziest of ideas at this point."

 

If it's Sombra who stole it then I wonder what his motives were, Pia thought to herself.

"Sombra could still be weak though so lets hit him before he gains his powers back...but then again we are not really sure its Sombra at all" Flare said wondering why Draco think it would be Sombra it just doesnt seem right he had a theory but that theory was put down quick. "We cant be certain its Sombra" Flare said

" Who is this King Sombra? I have only heard tales from my village of a King who enslaved his subjects. Though, it feels like it was just a story to remind us little ones to be a kind and benevolent leader." Delia said she looked at the group. some of these pony folk are pleasing to my eyes. She thought as she tried to warm herself up

 

The group started to get real close to the base of the mountain. A sign could be seen it read: The journey to the summit will take at least 3 days. It also advised resting up before starting the trek up. Flying is not recommended, even if you are the most skilled. Earth Ponies as well as all non-unicorns are advised to travel with another pony or in a group. Made by O'akka's travels.

"Are you afraid? Don't be afraid I'll do what I can for you ponies," Draco said with a slight smile on his muzzle. "Well I'm thinking is he melded with the shadows themselves you know. And Pia what a cute name for a cute mare," Draco said with a compliment to Pia. He paced slightly. "As I said it's just a theory," Draco said as he looked at the sign. He shook his head slightly.
