Are these good fanfic Ideas

do you think these are good ideas for a fanfic or should I Just think of other Ideas. I'll just tell you the plot.

 

 

Fanfic 1: the Equestrian Monarchy is overthrown and a brutal Communist regime takes over. A Group of ponies tries to protest and gets locked up and tortured they will try to escape. It stars the mane Six.

 

Fanfic 2: This has to do if the holocaust happened to ponies instead of Jews. It stars an OC they get captured and sent to an extermination camp. This is a gory one.

 

Fanfic 3: This is an human in equestria fic. The human gets sent to an insane asylum and struggles to survive. And a seemingly normal but Psycho doctor at the hospital wants to kill him. This fic fic is dark and somewhat gory for lobotomies and electroshock therapy.

 

Are these any good or should I think of another Idea.

"This is a gory one". They all sound gory

 

These sound like they would be distressing reads - you'd basically have to make it clean, or fully grimdark. It's very difficult to find a midway between the two. I'm sure that fans of that stuff would love it, but I personally wouldn't enjoy reading our favourite pastel-coloured ponies being crushed by communism or internment.

 

But yeah, the grimdark fans among us will be your main audience. If you want to get a wider one, tone down the harshness. That's my opinion.

I'm not going to say "no, just stop and shut up" because you have every right to just write what you want, and what makes you happy.

 

However, from my standpoint, I don't like any of these, and here's my opinions:

 

First Idea: This one souuuuuuuunds way to political and "edgy". I HATE really dark pony warfics like this that use real-world politics, most of them turn out really badly. It's not that it can't be done well, it's just that is usually isn't

 

Second Idea: Sounds like a somehow even worse inversion of the Conversion Bearu. I absolutly loathe the "Humans are Bastards" trope. 

 

Third Idea: It's just gore and violence the sake of gore and violence. it sounds like a horribly cliche creepypasta

Be VERY careful with holocaust paralels.  It's a very dark and serious topic and it's easy to come across as insensitive if you don't tell it with the utmost respect for the real events.  You're free to write whatever but there will be a lot of offended people if it's not done well.

They are certainly interesting.

They sound much more strange than some of the ones that I think of.

I definitely think, for the first two, you should use something that isn't a pony. I'm not quite sure what you could use for them, though.

As for the last... I don't even know how that is a pony fanfic in any way. You didn't mention much about ponies.

All of them need SO much more work. These are just situations, you didn't provide any kind of summary or synopsis.

Fanfic 1: I personally prefer Pony politics over real-world politics in my pony stories.

 

Fanfic 2: Like Jammo said, you have to be very careful with that kind of subject matter. But why would these ponies be in a holocaust? You haven't specified that yet.

 

Fanfic 3: Honestly, that's an idea that sounds like it could be done without ponies. And it has been done without ponies.

I'm not much of a big fanfic reader. 

But these sound alittle too gory? I'm not much of a gore person unless i'm playing a zombie game.

I like fanfic's that are like ''My Little Dashie''. Now that was a story!

Well obviously your ideas aren't going to appeal to anyone except those who enjoy the gory, grim-dark types of fanfiction, but whatever makes you happy.

 

Fic 1: I have no idea what the quality of you writing is, but if you're going to do real-world politics, make sure you're doing it right.

 

Fic 2: I'd just avoid writing this, honestly. Just having it parallel or be the Holocaust is bound to offend more people than actually getting people to like it.

 

Fic 3: It sounds workable, but it seems like pony was just thrown in for the heck of it.

Well... let's see.

 

1- Okay...why? For what i can tell the monarchy in equestria is not a tyrany, hell is all the opposite, so why would anyone agree to do that?

 

2- Again, why? i mean i assume even the dragons don't mess with ponies becouse they control the sun and the moon, so even if they win they are fucked, so why? it's just suicide.

 

3- Okay... so... this happens becouse of magic i suppose, i guess is kinda weak but whatever... my main issue is, again, why? my teory is that the human appears there and completely freaks out when he saw talking ponies and then he get's thrown in the asylum, but, wound be some attempt in communication before all that? and after? and be reguraly inspected since is pretty much the only of his kind the those lands? also "struggles to survive"...you know this is equestria right? the land of cotton candy and chocolate rain, unless of course is some kind of fucked up parallel universe, in wich case you sould put it in the description.
