gaming Zelda Oracles to be released outside of Japan before summer

According to the Legend of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons have been added today to the 3DS Virtual Console in Japan.

He also announced the current plan is for both games to arrive for other regions within the next few months and the linking feature that was available with the original Game Boy Color versions will be included with the Virtual Console versions.

“The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages are now out in Japan,” Aonuma posted to the Wii U’s Miiverse. “Our plan is to release these two games in other territories some time before summer!”

The linking feature allowed for both stories to be connected which included both a boss battle with Ganon as the final fight and a new ending being possible.

So yeah. New old oracle games are coming on the 3DS soon. I'll be getting both copies if I can. I'm trying to get all the games in the official timeline (YES I SUPPORT THE 3 TIMELINES THEORY! DON'T JUDGE ME!). Currently missing these, Four Swords Adventure, phantom hourglass and Spirit tracks.

I am looking forward to buy this this summer! I haven't really gotten into the Zelda series until late, so I might as well give it a shot. (I have a strange feeling that I'm going to be criticized for not being into the series all that much.)

Well technically, they have been releases outside of Japan(on GBC).

Anyway, this is excellent news. I have Seasons but it's not exactly easily playable on my old GBA(no backlight, dpad basically busted), so I will be eagerly awaiting these on the 3DS eShop.

Read this on Zeldainformer a few days ago and yes, it's awesome news. Those two games are easily up there with LA if you ask me and worth a shot if you haven't played them. Also another reason to get them now would be the whole "connect the games together" which was quite a nuisance before.

Good for zelda fans I suppose however I haven't really been playing games much at all. I play TF2 sometimes, and maybe some Super Mario 64 (yep mine still works XD).
