What do you think? Anypony have a favorite song? Which one is worth an award? I personally think that they are all delightful, but I do have a few favorites...

Oh, and "What my Cutie Mark is Telling Me" is thrown in there too as well.

So my fellow bronies, what songs deserve an award in your book and why?

oh, I think "this day aria" would deserve one, there are so many beautiful remixes of that (even some cool from members here), but it´s not much like my favourite song...

 

"a true, true friend" (is that the title, I dunno xD) is what I would throw in, I just had it in my ear for quite a long time and a lovely song, everypony has her part, and it all plays well together.

Apart from that "Love is in bloom" is my very favourite, again because there are a lot of extremely awesome remixes (and especially because that remix right here is a main part of how I got into MLP:FIM into the first place)

 

 

of course, all songs in the show are very well done, everyone has his favourite ;D

This Day Aria, Flim Flam Brothers Song, and the Smile Song all definitely deserve awards in my opinion, especially the Smile Song. That is literally the catchiest and ear wormiest song from the show, and I can just listen to that over and over again.

Most songs in MLP aren't too bad. My favorite song is probably This Day Aria. It was the only song that got me to think: DAMN that was good! I was also hooked to Babs Seed for a while. I thought the song was pretty good the very first time I heard it during the episode sneakpeak.

 

There are MLP songs that have actually won awards before. If you take a look at MLP.wikia.com and go to the songs section, you'll see that Becoming Popular and Finding a Pet have both won Grammies!

Actually they were nominated for "Outstanding Original Song - Children's and Animation" in the 39th Daytime Emmy Awards but lost to "In the Happy Little Land of Hoboken Surprise" from The Penguins of Madagascar.

 

I hope the Smile Song or This Day Aria will this award next time.

Celestia's Ballad has got to be one of the most moving and amazing songs I never expected to come from a show like this. The feels... were too much.

This Day Aria is my favorite MLP song. It's so intense and full of emotion. I love the instrumentation as well. Also, using the deceptive cadence when Chrysalis sings and authentic cadence when Cadence sings was really clever. 

Celestia's Ballad is the most beautiful MLP song, in my opinion. It's so touching. 

Winter Wrap Up and Art of the Dress are both very catchy.
