After the finale of the third season of AMC's The Walking Dead, my grandma wrote a poem about the show so far. I really enjoyed it so I thought I would share.

ODE TO THE WALKING DEAD

SORROW HAS BEFALLEN US

WHATEVER SHALL WE DO?

OUR SUNDAY NIGHTS ARE DEADLESS NOW

‘TIL WALKERS COME ANEW

WE LOST DALE, AND SHANE AND LORI

WE LOST T-DOG…. DOWN TO BONE!

EVERY TIME WE TURN AROUND

ANOTHER ONE IS GONE!

MERLE TRIED TO CHANGE THE MAN HE WAS

HE TRIED TO PLAY HIS PART…

BUT PHILLIP TURNED HIM PRETTY QUICK;

HE SHOT HIM IN THE HEART.

POOR ANDREA HAS BIT THE DUST

OL’ MILTON TOOK HER DOWN,

THE GOVERNOR ATTACKED THE JAIL

THEN KILLED HIS WHOLE DANG TOWN!

AND CARL’S LOST HUMANITY;

HE GAVE HIS DAD A KICK.

WILL HE TURN INTO A GOVERNER,

RATHER THAN A RICK?

WE’VE ANALYZED AND THEORIZED

ABOUT WHAT WE WOULD DO…

WOULD WE RUN OR SEIZE A JAIL,

OR STEP IN WALKER GOO?

COULD WE WITHSTAND THE TERROR?

OR LIVE DOWN IN THE WOODS?

COULD WE STOMP AND STAB, AND SHOOT?

WOULD WE BE BAD OR GOOD?

WE CAN ONLY THEORIZE

“IF WALKERS CAME TO TOWN”

AND WAIT FOR ALL NEW EPISODES

WHEN OCTOBER COMES AROUND.

THAT SHOW HAS LEFT US WANTING MORE;

WE NEED THE WALKING DEAD

TO FILL OUR HEARTS WITH TERROR,

HORROR, FRIGHT AND DREAD!

my grandma wrote a poem about the show so far

 
I must say, you have a badass grandma. 

There is just one thing that i didn't like about the poem, it was in caps. Which meant that i read it out using the royal canterlot voice

Ha ha yeah I like it too, it's the first Walking Dead poem I liked. (Not being biased, the others can be pretty bad. x)) She laughed that you said that though, but she said thank you.

Wow, this was really good. I like it, and I agree that you have a badass grandma!

 

We have to wait till October for more Walking Dead... *sigh*
