I like that sepia tone scene, it's probably my favorite out of those, the salt shaker isn't to bad either. I'd do more scenery shots.

made these at work: Moonlight on the Misty Sea and Forest at Twilight

 

moonlight was made to look like the moon reflecting off the ocean . i took a picture of the floor of the company bathroom with the flash on before i lowered the contrast for a fog effect.

 

forest is a napkin i inverted and turned to a sepia. then i enhanced the colors a bit. looks almost expressionist.

Oasis

 

i made this one after snapping a photo of a foam wrap bag at work and inverting the colors and then going sepia. with some tweaks of the RGB i got this desert oasis scene.

Red Canyon and Emerald Dream

 

Red Canyon is a pic of a red bed sheet with the wrinkles to create the illusion of a ravine.

 

Emerald Dream is the cover of a flourescent light fixture. i had resized the image to zoom in on the pattern and then brightened it up a bit.

The first pic is called Rainy Day Stroll. I added the black and white to give a sort of Depression Era imagery. 

 

this next pic is some Styrofoam brackets used for packing at work. all i did was take an auxiliary view of the material and then alter the colors to give the appearance of aparment lights on in the early morning.

 

Now this last pic, so far, is my pride and joy. i took this one in the dark with flash always on and snapping a part of the flower pattern on my comforter. While the flash reflected off my tv to create the star, i kinda let my pinkie hover in front of the light to produce a bright, waxing moon and then i enhanced the blue and brightened it up some. et voila! The Midnight Sun of Winter.

my newest pieces. Morning dove was a bit of a happy accident. but after some visual tweaking, this is waht i ended up with.

that's the beauty of it. the resolution drop kinda creates a surreal effect for added flair. my genius just comes from finding big things in the smallest and most unnoticeable of things. infact, end of the road was just a bunch of scotchbrite dust and metal next to a benchgrinder. i just altered the colors to create that effect.

dream flight was a mere smudge on a wall that i had contrasted and altered the colors to look like a silhouetted boys flying from a hillside in some dream world.

 

in good night cedar, i really like how the moon looks right next to cedar.

 

Islands was oil water after the rain with altered colors and converted to a negative to reveal an island awaiting a rising sun.
