"Well okay then. So...um...a long long time ago, I was like a normal Dryad...I...I had a t-tree and everything. I could go into great detail but let me skip a bit. The nearby town...which I believe is now called the crystal empire...anyway, it was just a small town back then, I was told that I was cursed, and I needed to be killed. They got a unicorn who went by the name of Sombra to get rid of me. He knew that killing me wasn't bad enough so he separated me from my tree and sent me away. I wondered around for a few decades before giving up. I lay under a strange tree in the everfree forest. I lay there for at least eight hundred years. Most of which I slept through but...I would wake up on occasion. Such occasion as...A young filly was wondering through the forest one dark night and she came to the tree I was sleeping under. She picked the rainbow apples from it then...timberwolves surrounded her. She ran out as fast as she could and they chased her. I did my best to stop them...but what really got rid of them was some loud banging, Presumably the filly. Anyway, after that day, I knew that I could do no good laying under a tree, so, after waiting a little while I left the forest and opened a flower shop in the small town that probably had a population of twelve...it soon became the town of Ponyville." She said, yawning and eating some of her danish.

Every time she mentioned her original tree, her lip would quiver and she looked like she was about to cry, but she did her best just to keep talking.

Missy felt really sad after the story, she remembered her ordeal with Sombra and Discord and Splash and, she would get into that but...

"Well, i guess i should start, um, i come from Manehatten, i grew up there, my father is Star Streak the Wise, anyway, i was always teased about being an Alicorn, it made me feel very bad about myself, then one day i came home, i found that my father and mother had left me, they left me on my own." Missy felt slightly teary-eyed. "I had to pack a bag and leave Manehatten because i couldn't stay there anymore, i had to stay in abandoned stables and castles and i even had to sleep in the rain once. One day i turned up in Ponyville, that's when i met Twilight and gained all of my friends, so at least there is a happy ending." Missy giggled and ate another bit of her sandwich.

"Why did you tell her that?" Missy's thoughts asked her. "You barely know her."

"Well, i love her and i'm sure that she feels the same." Missy responded to her thoughts. "Now go away, i'm trying to have a good time."

Arrow nodded and patted Missy on the shoulder. "I think its awesome that you're an alicorn." She said. She was a little confused as to why somepony would bully somepony else for being an Alicorn considering the princesses were...but she ignored it. It was probably just kids being stupid. "If I was there I would have beaten those kids black and blue." She said.

Missy realised what Arrow must be thinking. "I was bullied for being an Alicorn because i had nowhere to fit into, i couldn't be a unicorn because i couldn't use magic, i couldn't fit in with the Pegasi because i couldn't fly, i also couldn't be an earth pony because i wasn't strong enough. I also wouldn't have fit in with the Alicorns because i wasn't royal and wouldn't fit in with the princesses, so i was an outcast for most of my life." Missy explained. It saddened Missy deeply to think about this again, not about her parents, but of the ones who made fun of her. Either way, Arrow's support made her feel happy with her and she giggled a little.

"Its funny...you and I are both the odd ones out...no wonder we seemed to have hit it off." She said, eating some of her danish then sipping a little tea. "So after lunch...what do you want to do ?" She asked, taking another sip of her tea. "We could go swimming...or flying...now that you know about everything...or we could just go back to the apartment."

Missy wondered, maybe it would be better to try flying, but Arrow wouldn't be able to sit on the clouds, Missy couldn't fly for long without needing to stop for a break.

"Or we could go to Canterlot, it would be a good day out and we could find a dress for you and everything. Missy clapped her hooves together. "Oh, this is just going to be the best day ever."

Missy wondered, maybe it would be better to try flying, but Arrow wouldn't be able to sit on the clouds, Missy couldn't fly for long without needing to stop for a break.

"Or we could go to Canterlot, it would be a good day out and we could find a dress for you and everything. Missy clapped her hooves together. "Oh, this is just going to be the best day ever."

Arrow bit her lip. "Um...Canterlot ? We wouldn't...be staying any longer than today...would we ?" She asked. Arrow didn't really say it all that often...but she really really really didn't like the city. There was too much concrete and it made her feel tired.

"If you don't feel comfortable being in Canterlot then we can stay here, in Appeloosa." Missy suggested. "We can go to that nice place that's opening, it'll be fun." Missy was smiling at Arrow now, she took another bite out of her sandwich.

"No no, we can go to Canterlot...but I just wouldn't really want to stay for any longer than today. Being in big cities kinda makes me sleepy. Missy...something I never really asked, How old are you ?" She asked, blushing slightly. Something she always felt uncomfortable with was the age difference...being one thousand years old and dating somepony who is in their late teens maybe early twenties...it cane sometimes make things awkward.

"Well, i'm certainly not as old as you." Missy stuck her tongue out. "I'm about 22 years old, you shouldn't feel uncomfortable or anything, i wouldn't really count all of the years you were sleeping as age, either way, you're a really nice person, so i don't want to let that get in the way." Missy explained to Arrow. "Do you feel awkward about it?"

Arrow shook her head. "I only feel awkward if you feel awkward." She said, finishing her danish and tea. "Well, i'm ready to go when you are madam." She said, using a napkin to wipe away the few crumbs on her muzzle. She yawned again and glanced up at a clock by the door.

Cawana bounced around. "Awww yeah! Let's go then!" She then grabbed Star and started to gallop towards the ticket booth. Cawana approached the booth and spoke to the Stallion behind the counter. "Two tickets to Manehatten!"She said as she threw a pile of bits on the counter. She then took the two tickets giving one to Star and holding on to the other one. 

 

As time passed, after Star Notes had finished speculating the area around her, and the people. Their train had finally arrived after the long wait. "C'mon, here it is." said Star motioning her hoof to the direction of the train.

When it had finally stopped, Star Notes entered the train with Cawana.

"So, are you sure you want to go to Canterlot? The event is at about 8 or so at night, but i'm sure we won't spend a lot of time in Canterlot, i just want to find a nice dress for you and visit Twilight, that's all. We can come back right after that, we shouldn't have to spend too much time in Canterlot." Missy got up and followed after the mare.

Electro Dash continued to look ahead at the ponies that walked through the park. She began to feel a bit sympathetic of what she had done. She felt as if what she had done, or how she had behaved, was wrong. And she had the perfect way of solving it. But that would require a train to Canterlot. So she got up and headed for the train station.

(OOC: and before you two say anything, I was going to do this before I left for school. YOU took MY idea of going to Canterlot.)

Arrow stood up and followed Missy out of the cafe, leaving a couple bits on the table as a tip. "We can go if you want too. I wouldn't mind getting something to wear." She said.

"Well, we'd better get going." Missy was actually excited about this, a day out with who is now the most important mare in her life, who wouldn't be excited. "This is going to be great." Missy started running towards the train station. A large smile plastered on her face.

"Manehatten, here we come!" Cawana shouted excitedly as she sat with Star. The train started to pull away from the station and began its journey to Manehatten. "So Star, have you ever been on a train before?" Cawana said feeling like she had asked a stupid question.

Electro Dash walked up to the train station and got a one way ticket to Canterlot. She had figured out one day that two one-way tickets costed less than a return ticket. She got her ticket and went into one of the train carriages just as one train left, and picked a secluded spot in the corner.

Arrow chuckled and followed Missy towards the train station. The train had already left but another would be back within an hour or so. "So apart from getting me some clothes...what are we going to do in Canterlot ? I would love to go look at the royal canterlot gardens...but I am up for anything."

"Well, i've not really been to Canterlot all that often, although there was that one time at the gala where Pinkie Pie got drunk on her own punch, you see, she organizes the gala every year now. Getting into the Royal Gardens shouldn't be any trouble, i am student of a Princess after all." Missy answered Arrow's question. "I think we should see Rarity, i believe she's up here on this day of every week anyway.

Arrow nodded as they approached the ticket booth. "Well this will be fun...just as long as we get back by tomorrow." She said, as a grumpy pony turned to look at her from behind the ticket booth. "Can I help you ?" He asked. "Hello there. We just needed two tickets to Canterlot please." She said.
The pony sighed before looking From Missy's horn to her wings, then at Arrow's eyes and wings. He gave them both a suspicious look before grabbing two tickets.

Missy noticed the suspicious look the pony gave her and Arrow, she felt just like when she was in early school again. But this time she could do something.

"Is there a problem, sir?" Missy asked in a calm voice, with a hint of anger.

"No, no of course not Miss." Missy walked off to the platform and sat down.

Arrow payed for their tickets before walking over and sitting down next to Missy. "Well...this is going to be fun. Dresses, Ice Cream...gardens. The only thing I am not excited for is the concrete...that's the one thing I don't like about Cities...they're all just unnatural." She said, sighing and glancing over at a large train just leaving.

"It'll be a lot of fun, i can understand how living somewhere with plants and trees and being somewhere like Canterlot, it has a very un-natural feel to it but the magic feeling in the air is just amazing." Missy explained. "Canterlot basically radiates magic, it's paradise for unicorns."
