Shadesteel relayed Crimson's message to Cosmo, waking him up in time to catch his friend with telekinesis. Cosmo's body returned to normal, and but he instead of the woozyness one would expect from such a powerful transformation, Cosmo was refreashed, better than when he enter the battle. Looking at Rail, Cosmo said, "You're right Rail, we've only known each other a few days. But in that time we forged a bond stronger than you and your godhood!" Cosmo knew he couldn't kill Rail, and wasn't going to dishonor Radio's sacrifice even if he could, but he started slashing at Rail imprisoned body, weakening him so he couldn't escape and simply inflicting pain as punishment for what he did to everyone in this tournament. He struck at Rail's horn but was too emotional to notice if he broke it. Stepping back Cosmo felt Shadesteel within him, and knew he could call that form again. "I wished for self improvement and got it... but was it worth all this?"

[Octavia's Bow 2,035]

The first thing to happen was the portal closed. It didn't really close in the normal way; the opening turned into a zipper and it shut itself. Then the zipper disappeared and the portal was no more. Then Rail was ripped from his bonds and beaten like Loki from the Avengers movie before being dragged through the floor. He eventually made his way to the center of the earth, were events would make sure he never made it out, and that his death would be slow immolation via lava. Very slow.

 

Afterwards, the sky shifted. A greenish tint appeared, and then disappeared, and nopony could figure out why. (It's a barrier so that nopony with ill intent can make it too Equestria. IE, her wish.) And then there was a great flash of white light, and the ponies inside the basement found themselves in a clearing. In the middle of the clearing, there was a statue of a tired looking unicorn with a long mane and a fallout shelter cutie mark. There was also  a pedestal, which read, "Write what you wish, and it may be." Underneath it read "You're standing at the location of events that you remember, but never happened. Rail lies burning and shall never escape. He is the only remnant of this occurrence, besides my own disappearance. And try not to wish for something stupid. To many ponies in the future do. I had one 50 year-old diabetic unicorn ask me for a lolipop. A LOLIPOP! He didn't even want his diabetes cured. He wanted a freaking deathstick. So instead I cured his diabetes and shave of five years. Whatever."

 

A white portal, similar to Star Treck's beam system, appeared and Swordpoint was laid gently beside Rainbow, unconscious but alive. 

 

"Oh, and no tears over my 'death,' alright? You'll all be seeing me rather quickly, if you go to Canterlot I believe my address was something like 204 Metal Avenue or some such. And don't ask me how it makes sense. I'm from the future, sending myself back in time was not a big problem. I just have to make sure that at some point I send myself- it's complicated. Have a nice life." The stone ended there. There was a chizzle and a hammer on the pedestal for them.

Rail was livid. Cosmo's attacks only served to fuel his rage, although he did feel the strike on his horn in particular. He struggled against the bonds, and they snapped at last. He sent a wall of spikes toward Cosmo and raced toward the portal.

 

Rainbow felt her stomach clench. ”DO IT NOW, RADIO!!!!”

Cosmo used his ghost spell and the spikes passed through him and the wall behind him harmlessly. Cosmo reached for Rail but was grabbed a flash of white light. Looking around he found the others, all were there, and watched as a portal dropped off Swordpoint, who was breathing but clearly unconscious. Reading the statue Radio left them, Cosmo smiled and simply wrote, "I wish you well friend." Cosmo found Cinder asleep nearby and walked over to her, brushing her hair off her face as she slept, happy to his marefriend was safe.

Crimson awoke with a groan, he rubbed his head and looked up at cosmo with a wry smile, "I believe so......but first, answer these two very important crew initiation questions....one, are you any good at carpentry? And two, do you have an asprine for my damn headache? Asked crimson half jokingly before standing up and quickly making sure his hat was on his head, and sighed as he found it was, "that's a felief, I even still have helios!" Said crimson with a happy chuckle and a relieved grinn.

Two things appeared next to crimson. The first was a very artful styled NO out made out of wood, and the second was a note saying to look up. When he did, a pile of asprin bottles fell at him, with a note to watch his smart mouth, less his ass start to smart as well. It seems that verbal communication is possible.

Crimson hissed in pain as a pile of asprine bottles landed on his head, ironically making his headache worsen "OW! OKAY! OKAY! I get it! No cursing....sheesh.... but anyway, thanks for the asprine....even if they hurt me more than helped me..." mumbled crimson before opening a bottle and downing half of it.

Cinder woke up and looked around confused by the change in location, surprised by the statue, and equally amused by Crimson's problem.

Reading Radio's message, Cosmo said, "Or we could this," and teleported the extras out of his body and burning them with his the new spells he could cast thanks to the Nexus.

I think instead of laughing at my fail, you should be using your wish, don't you think?" Asked crimson.

A speaker grew from the ground. Outwards from the magical working speaker came a voice, "I'm running out of ideas to put messages on, so I created this speaker to communicate. And yes, I find your failings to be quite funny at the moment, though your future is potentially dastardly. It can have many different endings though, and I chose to believe you will make the right choices as to your own happiness. Also, I never understood why everypony thought they were limited to one bloody wish. They're limited to however many I want to grant. Honestly, it'd do you all well to remember this spot. You shouldn't really have to worry about your livelihoods ever again anyways.

"My wish for what? I wanted self improvement from this place," Cosmo used Shadow dance and zoomed around the group, propelled by his power. Landing in front of Crimson Cosmo activated his Shadesteel form, and in his ethereal voice asked, "Do I look like I need more improvement right now? If I need something, like Radio said, I'll come back here."

Crimson chuckled, "neat, but I think I already know the first thing I'm gonna wish for...."

Said crimson quitely before slowly picking up the hammer and chisle and walking over to the statue

Once crimson reached it, he took a deep breath before using the tools to carve his wish

Once he was finished, it read, "bring back violet rose" crimson was tense with anticipation.

I find that telling ponies their futures really doesn't help anything anyways."A similar beam from when Swordpoint came back appeared and dropped Violet next to Crimson. She was also unconscious.

Crimson's eyes widened in shock as his sister appeared before him in a flash of light, he then kneeled next to her and began to shake her to wake her up, "violet....violet wake up! Are you ok? Can you hear me!?" Asked crimson with excitment in his eyes. After a few moments, violets eyes fluttered open and she awoke with a groan, looking at crimson in shock, "big....brother!? How did...I thought...but wasn't I just...." asked violet before giving up on her impatience before jumping up and hugging crimson tightly, tears streaming from her eyes, "ive miseed you so much!! It was terrible....I was in somsort of black void....and I couldn't leave....and I thought I would never get out! And-" crimson silenced her, "please.....don't think about it now....your not going back there ever again....your safe now...." crimson was interrupted by a strange black mist grabbing violet from his grip and knocking him away, umbra voids head appeared in the mist as the strange cloud wrapped itself around violet, he grinned, "sorry....no happy endings on my watch.....if you wabt her back my son, then come to my island and TAKE HER BACK!" Said umbra sadistiacally before dissappearing in a flash of purple, violets cries for help echoing in crimsons ears, "NNNNOOOOOO!!" Yelled crimson in rage.

Swordpoint opened his eyes slowly and smiled. ”It seems that death still has not claimed me. But who...” He trailed off as he saw Radio's statue.

 

Rainbow threw her hooves around Swordpoint and tears poured down her cheeks. ”I thought I'd lost you for good!” She was sobbing uncontrollably.

 

Swordpoint returned her embrace, and he cried as well. ”I'm sorry, Rainbow. Had I been stronger, or acted sooner, we might have avoided this.” He glanced at the inscription on the statue, wiping his eyes. ”She's still conscious... Radio, if you can hear me... Thank you. I wish I could repay you. But before you fade completely, I wish to know... Has Knightfall's curse been lifted?”

 

(OoC: The omnipotence is only temporary, sadly. Radio's consciousness will fade from existence soon. But... Swordpoint was pulled from the nexus once. I smell a future RP...)

"As far as I know, all affliction placed on the ponies in this courtyard right now are lifted as per my second wish. However, for this brief instant in which I am pulling together my collective consciousnesses, all wishes I can grant can be made. You have about... 5 standard minutes before I lose the energy to pull myself together and find myself fading into the void. However, my consciousness also spans time, so writing on the tablet will always grant a wish. Trust me, it's a headache.

Crimson had his hat pulled low over his eyes to hide the fact that he was crying about the loss of his sister, "I'm sorry violet.....I failed to save you.....again....but I won't give up! I will come to our fathers island and save you....and I will not fail a third time.....I swear..." said crimson silently, before turning to cosmo and swordpoint, "will you help me once more? You don't have to.....but I would appreciate your help..." said crimson quitely.

A grunt comes through the speakers, "I cannot help you personally, I have about two minutes now. There is a pony who will be more than willing. Cosmo may know her. She's a priestess earth pony in Canterlot, who worships Luna and her night, who is beginning to dream of adventures outside her daily routine. Her name is Selytheria, though she prefers Lyth. I'm sorry I can't do more." The sound post dissolved.

Swordpoint pulled her close. ”I must atone for my wrongs, Rainbow. As long as suffering exists, I must do what I can to end it.” He smiled warmly. ”Besides, this makes twice now that I have cheated death. Someone must surely be watching over me.”

Crimson smiled, "thank you brother, I believe you will be a huge help in reaching my new goal.....saving my sister from my fathers island....the red x...tell me swordpoint....how are you at navigating a ship?" Asked crimson as he tilted his hat up to reveal a mischevious grinn.

Swordpoint chuckled. ”I can't say that I've ever traveled by sea. I am afraid that I know little of the subject. However, I have extensive strategic knowledge, as well as experience in commanding troops. I'm certain that I could assist you in some way.” He placed his hoof on Crimson's shoulder. ”... It's him, isn't it? Umbra? It is written upon your face. I suspect that I have missed something quite important.”

Swordpoint chuckled. ”I can't say that I've ever traveled by sea. I am afraid that I know little of the subject. However, I have extensive strategic knowledge, as well as experience in commanding troops. I'm certain that I could assist you in some way.” He placed his hoof on Crimson's shoulder. ”... It's him, isn't it? Umbra? It is written upon your face. I suspect that I have missed something quite important.”

Crimson frowned and nodded grimly, "yes.....appearently with all of us distracted by the strange series of events, we had forgotten about my father.....I wished for radio to revive my little sister violet rose and it worked......but.....my father came out of nowhere and snatched her from me.....I failed to save her again..." said crimson sadly.

Swordpoint nodded. ”I will inform Celestia. Perhaps she will be able to provide us with soldiers and supplies.” He glanced at Cosmo. ”Your bravery was admirable, Cosmo. I trust that you will use your newfound abilities wisely. He extended his hoof with a smile. ”If you ever need me, do not hesitate to seek me out.”

"A high ranking one at that if I'm correct. She'd certainly be helpful. She can perform rituals to help make us more stealthy, as well as some interesting weapon creation ones."

Crimson frowned and nodded grimly, "yes.....appearently with all of us distracted by the strange series of events, we had forgotten about my father.....I wished for radio to revive my little sister violet rose and it worked......but.....my father came out of nowhere and snatched her from me.....I failed to save her again..." said crimson sadly.

Cosmo put a hoof on Crimson's shoulder. "It's not your fault and you didn't fail! She's alive again, so that's already a victory, and we'll get her back! I promise you that Crimson!"

Swordpoint nodded. ”I will inform Celestia. Perhaps she will be able to provide us with soldiers and supplies.” He glanced at Cosmo. ”Your bravery was admirable, Cosmo. I trust that you will use your newfound abilities wisely. He extended his hoof with a smile. ”If you ever need me, do not hesitate to seek me out.”

"Wisely? I doubt that," he chuckled, shaking his friend's hoof. "I will use them as well as I can and thank you Swordpoint, I will more likely be looking to hang out than for help but either way I'll see you again my friend," as he started to leave Cosmo added, "Oh, and you'll hear this from Rainbow Dash no doubt, but don't get yourself killed again."

Turning to the speaker Cosmo said, "Goodbye, miss Radioactive Tragedy. Thank you again for what you've done for us."

Speaking to everyone, Cosmo said, "I'm going back home to Camterlot. I will find you in a few days Crimson, I know another pony who would be willing to help us. A mare named Coral Reef, she's an excellent cook, especially with noodles. I will find her and when I get back, I'll be ready to sail with you."

(OOC: This was fun guys, I'm looking forward to ragestar's RP with everyone. Good night, and may Luna watch over your dreams)
