"Jack, get up here!" Tyler shouted from the cockpit, "We're close to the Racine airport, and we're gonna land in a bit. Well, I mean, YOU'RE gonna land in a bit. Heh heh."

Jack sat down and took the controls. He lined the plane up with the runway, lowered the landing gear and flaps, and touched the aircraft down. Shortly afterward, he taxied the plane to the business terminal and lowered the entry door.

"Hello!" Colette said as her eyes widened, catching herself staring. Where the hell was Fluttershy hiding those?! "I do, but you're more.... Developed than I am!"

 

Seeing this as well, Shawn turned his head away, being the gentleman that he was. Clearing his throat, he spoke. "You can borrow one of my shirts, if you want." "Yes, please! before Fluttershy falls out! Pinkie, go try yours on, see how they fit..."

"My name is Stephen Hagemann, and this is Cecy. My brother found Fluttershy and is now in Racine."  he answered. "He sent me to find you two before Rainbow got herself into any more trouble. Looks like I'm a little late, though."

"Yeah, yeah, I know AJ." Rainbow kicked up on the couch, throwing her head back and staring out at the mist. "I'm going to come back to you as soon as I can. Long as I can find a plane ride, that is. Might take me a bit, but I swear I'm coming as fast I can. You know me!" She sighed. "Just don't have my wings anymore. I can't promise ten seconds flat."

 

She glanced at Dennis, and with an apologetic wave, crept across the apartment into a closet and shut the door so, hopefully, no one else would hear. "Listen, though, I wanted to talk to you about something else..." she said before shutting the door.

 

"AJ?" she whispered. "You there? There's this guy that flew me to Scotland--the country I'm in right now. I took a nap, and when I woke up he was holding my hand! Do you think that means he...you know?"

Rarity had been thinking sadly of her boutique back in Ponyville, and how she was getting out of practice, when Charles made the suggestion that she make him a suit and make the others some clothes, too. Her face lit up. "I'd love to!" she exclaimed. "I could make everypony some clothes for here, too; I've really missed designing and sewing clothes. I know it's a bit presumptious but perhaps you could also get me a sewing machine and some cottons and scissors as well? I'm sure that they sell dressmaking equipment here; it would be wonderful and would give me something to do in this world!"

"Rarity could make you anything you wanted!" Pinkie Pie said after she came back from getting changed. "She's so generous; I'm sure if you asked her, she could make you some clothes."

"Humans can be mighty strange sometimes...Ah can't be sure what somethin' like that means to 'em. Maybe y'all should just be honest and ask 'im if he has feelings for ya? Do you like him?" she asked.

"Argh!" Rainbow slid deeper behind the coats. "Everyone asks that! Why is that the first thing that comes to mind? They're humans, Appljack. They're like big--hairless-troll things! I mean I know we look like them right now, but we're not the same as them!"

She shivered, wondering. "I...I don't know, I didn't even think about. He's kinda' just some guy, but...something in the way he acts weird around me is kinda' nice..." She ran a hand over her face for a couple seconds, then stopped. "Wait a minute. What does it matter anyway? We're leaving, right?" She almost laughed. "We're not stayin' here--there's no way we're staying here. So it doesn't matter if it makes sense. No way any of us could date a human."

She pursed her lips. "Right?"

"Eh, that's alright! I'm sure designing dresses for six is an insane enough task!" Colette said. "But I'm sure all of you will look great!" No way in hell was she gonna be caught in something frilly! Something like that was reserved for the Ponies -- Like Dash when she got back!

 

Shawn unzipped his bag and pulled out one of his smaller T-shirts; he was taller and larger than any of the girls, so his clothes should cover Fluttershy's assets just fine... He did his best not to look as he held out his shirt for her, but wow, was it was hard! "Um... Put this on, it should be quite a bit looser!"

Colette joined Fluttershy at the screen, sitting next to her. "Hopefully, she'll be back by morning, so I can yell at her!" Colette then looked over to the pink maned Pegasus."Rainbow didn't seem all that freaked out about the others... You two lovers or something??"

"My name is Stephen Hagemann, and this is Cecy. My brother found Fluttershy and is now in Racine."  he answered. "He sent me to find you two before Rainbow got herself into any more trouble. Looks like I'm a little late, though."

Dennis looks a little bit sad looking down but nevertheless he is calm. "You shouldn't blame Rainbow Dash... if anything it's my fault. She told me to leave her for a moment to think... i didn't want to be pushy. She just got bruised that's all... but then again it might not be my fault either. It's this stupid world, she's been without wings for a long time, she feels she failed Fluttershy by not reaching her in time and..." In his words he seems to be sharing the frustration of the moment that she had in those moments. He turns looking at him "Well what would you do if you were an angel and you were suddenly exiled to the earth without wings and everything? She's missing an important part of her life... and it feels wrong that i can't do anything about it!" he says looking a bit dissapointed in himself with some pain apparent on his face. "But i don't regret taking her here, not the money i spent, not anything. So don't say Rainbow Dash is a burden to me, not that you did but... she is not." After that he takes a deep breath and just tries to relax.

Cicada suddenly spoke up. What Dennis had said had struck a chord. She knew how it felt to be without wings; as a changeling, she had wings of her own, tho they were different to pegasus wings. Cicada had however adapted fairly well to not flying; she'd been too busy learning about this new world and revelling in the way that she could gather emotions from humans to gain power. Now, she felt a slight pang as she thought that she didn't have her wings here and felt that, come what may, she had to say something.

 

"I understand," she said. "I don't expect Rainbow to be very pleased about what I am, but we're all in this together and there's no point in squabbling about it. Back in the real world, I had wings as did all the Hive. When I arrived here, I was too busy gathering information to think about it, but after what you said, Dennis, it made me think. There really isn't anything that can take the place of having your own wings to fly with, and it hurts when you don't have them."

 

Ooc: Someone oughta take a photo of Cicada! You know how the ponies' wings and horns show up? Well, her insecty wings and twisted horn would show up, too!

If Fluttershy had been eating anything, she would have choked on it. She reeled halfway to the floor. "What?"

She stared up at Colette with distress written all over her face. "What would make you think that? We--we're just friends? I worry about her!" She shook her head. "Besides, you--you have met Rainbow Dash, haven't you? My---she wouldn't want to be tied down to anyone even I did---" She hitched a bit-- "like--girls like that."

"Think long and hard, uh?" Rainbow grimaced. "No wonder I'm no good at it." She started thinking about Dennis, and was lost in thought by the time she realized she was still on the phone with AJ. "Okay. Well, thanks, AJ. I'm still coming over there soon. Tell everypone I can't wait to see them, and I'm really...we can have a big group hug and all that. Bye."

She stepped out of the closet, holding out the phone. "Sorry guys. Just a little private conversation for a second."

Gosh... were his feelings that apparent? He rubbed his neck smilling a little bit akwardly at the situation, he sneaks a look at Rainbow but he doesn't know what to say. If she doesn't feel the same way what then? It's no fun living an unfullfilled love... he knew that all too well.

Rainbow Dash didn't say anything. Instead, she carefully studied Dennis' face, and pondered it on the way to the airport. She knew Applejack would have told her that watching him like a secret agent picking up clues wasn't was she was supposed to be doing, and a part deep inside of her really knew that she knew she ought to trust AJ....but she couldn't help it.

There was the blush. Rainbow Dash was almost certain of it now--it was just like in all those trashy romance novels Fluttershy owned. The guy liked her.

But, she thought while standing in a line, trying not to look too much at any of them--what did she feel? She thought he was cool, that was sure. She thought he was nice, and a little weird, but fun enough to be around. She wasn't annoying like a rare few fans could be. He barely felt like a fan at all at this point. He was more of a friend. Rainbow Dash thought she'd have no trouble taking off some precious training time to hang out with him if he had been some colt from Ponyville. But did she...was there supposed to be something more than that?
Fluttershy always kept saying--Rarity too--that there would be this unmistakable feeling, this, this zing, a desire to touch them, to protect them, to sing to them, to do...well, stuff. Different things depending on which pony you asked. If it was supposed to be unmistakable, Rainbow Dash sure didn't feel it.

When Dennis caught her eye again, she smiled widely at him. Inside she was thinking...there must just be something wrong with her. Something that made this, so simple for everypony she knew, so impossible for her.

Charles heard they land in Racine Airport, while he turning his net off and shutting his computer down while putting it into his bag and then he was looking at them see were they should stay or meet. Then he was coming his hair while getting ready while he was looking at them too. Then putting his things away while he was looking at the screen too.

(Well Not going to be on the net tomorrow unit my net get fix so try to move me along and I will try get on it later on tomorrow probley at 5 or 5:30 PM)
