Colette knew she had quite the challenger in Harry, and Colette may lack the musical roots that Harry had through her father, but she had both the skill and more than enough drive to give the goth a run for her money! She smirked at Harry as she slipped her armor ring onto Fluttershy's fingers. "Oh trust me Harriet, if there's any one thing I'd put all of my heart and soul in, it'd be the music I play. The talent show was just kid's stuff. Class is in session tonight!"

 

For the first time in what seemed like ages, Colette felt energized, already beginning to feel her adrenaline kick in at the prospect of performing once again. Fluttershy may not've been able to tell, but she was holding back a little when she played for her. There was to be none of that now. "Hey girls?" She said, addressing all of Ponies, "things're gonna get… loud and heavy, so do ya girls mind standing with Fluttershy??"

 

Colette felt a tap on her shoulder, and turned to face Dennis. "Dun' really feel like doing the 'light' stuff tonight, Dennis. It's been a while since I've bee able to work on some serious shredding, and I'm just dying to let loose!" Nate overheard this, and chimed in. “We're gonna be belting out some straight up rock tunes, it looks like! There aren't any parts regarding keyboards, I'm afraid!"

Abernathy shifted her weight from one foot to the other. Whilst talk of grating rock music was fascinating, she mused sarcastically, she wanted to get that 'group picture.' "Pardon me," she spoke up, clearing her throat. "I'd hate to interrupt, but I just need a quick picture of alla poonies, if ya doon't mind. It'd make my granddaughter's day!"

 

"Ohhh… right!" Colette said, having been brought back from her thoughts, turning to face the older woman. "Sorry 'bout that! Guys, of ya don't mind?" She asked. "It won't take long, I promise!" The woman said, readying her camera. "All I need is one good shot!"

As for the "light" part... i think you didn't notice my t-shirt this morning... I am really more of a metal-rock person, with my favorite band being "Disturbed". I don't just play brony music... and anyways my taste in music knows no stereotypes. So long as the song's good i'll listen." He didn't really seem to mind that she wasn't being accurate in her description. "Look... i promise that if you give me a chance you won't be dissapointed, i've been practicing the drums since i was 14..." seeing Rainbow Dash and the camera girl he turned for a moment and spoke.

Louise stood on the outskirts of the group, watching. She thought the photo a good idea, and planned to take her own photo with her camera phone. Looking thru it, she could see the ghostly wings and horns that didn't show up any other way.

Rainbow Dash looked up from the girls to watch the exchange between the musicians. For whatever reason, Dennis looked...really kind of upset. With a frown quickly hidden, she ran over and tried to reach up and give him a noogie.

"Hey, it's okay, Denny," she said as brashly as she could, with a big smile. "I'll make sure you get a chance to show us your stuff, later, okay?" Maybe that would help...

 

Time for the picture...go...

 

Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes and tugged at Dennis' wrist. This was getting silly. "Don't start moping on me," she warned. "Why shouldn't you be in the picture too? Get over here." She looked back to the others, with a bit of a warning glare. "Right?"

“Ok we can take a picture anyway, while I get ready and I want to look good too.” Charles saying as he taking out his comb, then began to comb his hair while he was getting ready for the picture with the group while he was trying to be his best and was thinking too.

Nick came too while combing his hair as he was getting to take a picture with Pinky Pie, while he was thinking about something as he was straightening his jacket up too and was joining Pinky for the picture.

Rainbow Dash stepped forward, a bit of fire tickling the edge of her eye. "Nuh uh!" she declared flatly. "The Dash takes her photo ops with whoever she wants!"

"Hey, you!" she called to the young man who'd been lurking around Pinkie Pie all day. She had no idea if Pinkie Pie had ever given him the time of day, but at the moment, it wasn't too important. "Get back here! We'e the ones callin' the shots, and if Pinkie says you can stay in the picture, you featherin' well better."

 

Ugh. If only she'd been able to drop a cool human profanity. Still, fame had its price.

The woman frowned, then sighed. This was going to be fun, she thought bitterly. "One picture with your friends, then one with just the Ponies."

 

Ugh. She only needed the picture of the Equestrians, and no one else. They weren't... Special, unique, or in any attention grabbing. Oh well, She'll just have to humor the damn alien for just a bit! "Why don't the rest of you grab your friends as well??"

Rarity took a comb out of her purse and carefully tidied her hair, which had gone out of place while she was dancing with Charles.

 

Cicada stood nearby with Diliges. She wondered if she and Diliges would be asked to join the photo as well.

"Eh…" Colette said, trying think of some counter argument, but failing. She too, enjoyed various genres of music, but Rock and Metal were her favorite genres. She sighed, turning to Connor, the true leader of the band, then to Erick. “Whaddya say ??” She asked as Dennis turned away to join the others. Erick tried to protest, but Colette forestalled him. “Just let 'em... He wants to impress the rainbow haired chick...” Colette then leaned in close and whispered something into his ear, then shrugged. “Just this once!” she said, pulling awasy. Erick sighed in resignation. “Fine. Go tell fan boy!”

Charles, Nick came back for the picture since Dash saying that she want to take it with her boyfriend anyway so they plan to take it with there lovers too and was going to be one of the best pictures they will take. While Nick was dancing with Pinky and also greeting other people too. Charles was dancing with Rarity, while talking to other people and also some of his NSA buddies too since they came to the party.

Applejack grabbed Logan by the hand, hearing that they were going to take a group picture, and she pulled him over towards the rest of the group. "I'm up for gettin' a picture of us. What do ya say, Logan?" she asked with a smile, glad they were all together and seeing the picture of her union with her friends, both new and old. She adjusted her signature stetson in preparation.

Twilight Sparkle began to initiate a conversation with Applejack upon being approached by her.

"Well," she said, "I'm enjoying myse-"

She was suddenly cut off by a woman requesting a group photo with the ponies.

"A group photo for your daughter?" Twilight responded, motioning to Applejack as she took her place in front of the camera, "Certainly!"

Jack stood at the table and watched as Twilight Sparkle summoned the instruments. Having nothing else to do, he slowly walked over to Colette, considering singing a number or two for the fans to make up for the cancelled showdown.

"Say," he said to her, "I think my fans might really like it if I sang a couple of songs with you guys, maybe of the Stone Temple Pilots variety. How does that sound?"

"Well, I had originally been planning on speaking to the Princess, but also some of the more... Rational humans." Diliges had responded to Stephen, a hint of irritation creeping into his voice at the circumstances he found his fellow Equestrians now standing in.

 

He resigned himself to standing, arms crossed, alongside Cicada, his irritation plain on his face. He had contemplated just swatting the camera from the woman's hand and demanding to speak to the group, but two things kept him from it. One, being he was trying to remain somewhat civil in this world, and that might make an unnecessary commotion. And two, the woman's presence just didn't sit right with him. Something about her felt... Off. Her, and a few of the others in the general vicinity.

 

And it seemed he was not the only one feeling that vibe, aside from his fellow Changeling. The officer's dog, who had come along with the one woman and the twin to Cicada's finder. The Shepherd's hackles were raised slightly, and he was staring intently at one point in the group I. The other side of the Ponies. Whatever had the dog alerted was certainly of interest to Diliges.

 

While animals, both of his world and this one, could not see emotions as a Changeling might, some could smell them - especially dogs. Perhaps this canine had found one of the sources of ill intent? Would certainly be nice.

Angelica had nodded her agreement to watching what was transpiring with the main group, and taking Shawn's hand, had made her way over, coming to a stop in the general vicinity of Shawn's twin and the Changelings.

 

(Feel free to godmod the locations of some characters, depending on their situation, like what I just did - which I hope you are OK with. For instance, Angie and Shawn moving from a table to the group. That kind of gmodding I don't mind)

"I don't see why not." Logan had said, allowing himself to be led by Applejack into place for the photo. He was somewhat skeptical, knowing what would happen to the photograph.

 

It was common knowledge in certain groups, yes. But still, that kind of thing just showing up with no tampering was still a little mind bending. Either way, he used his free hand to straighten out the edge of his jacket, and let it come to rest on his pistol's handle.

Shawn was led over to the group, stopping just next to Claire. "What's goin' on??" He asked the English woman, though his eyes answered his question. He saw all of the Ponies were gathered, but there were a few Finders absent from the photo, as well the Changelings. "Why don't you join on in??" He asked, turning to the two remaining Equestrians. Stephen leaned into Diliges' ear at this, and whispered, "You can alert the Princess and the others afterwards. No sense in creating panic beforehand!"

"Yeah, would be best," Cicada said. "I don't mind being in the photo and we can talk to Twilight afterwards." She lowered her voice so that no-one else could hear. "After all, she's the only pony who knows that Diliges and I are changelings. We didn't want to broadcast it, but I think that we're going to have to tell everypony sooner or later."

 

Clare replied, "Yeah, I'd love to. Hmm, never tried to dye my hair like Twilight's; maybe I should, next time."

"He says there are some people here giving him a bad vibe, and he wants everyone to know without panicking..." he then pulled away, only to get a punch to the arm. "Fucking come off it, ya bassa!*I was just tellin' Angie sumpin'!" The twins glass at each other for a moment, before Stephen made his way back to Claire, grumbling. "Fuggin' wally** thinks I'm hittin' on 'is woman!"

Hopefully, that would be everybody. It was trouble enough to get all of the "Equestrians" together, and the last thing she wanted to was wait half the night to get a single useable photograph…
