There was a small round of applause from ptarons and store staff alike once Colette was finished. "That was friggin' AWESOME!" the Rep said as Colette bowed to the crowd. "That was V-6, right??" He asked. "You got it! How much is this bad boy?" "It's on sale for $1,800."

"This place is too friggin' expensive!" Colette grumbled, once again on the bench outside the music store. She tried working a deal with the manager, to see if she could work at the store until she was able to afford the guitar, but no dice. "DAMMIT!"

 

Colette then reached into her pocket, as she had felt her phone vibrate. She smirked as she read the latest texts she received from Cat.

 

>>Well, she is Rarity, after all!<< she sent back, >>If anyone or anypone has an eye for fashion and beauty, it would be her! And yes, we'll need money for this place! Meet us at the Gap in an hour! It's the cheapest place here!<<

 

She then turned to the Pegasus sitting next to her and smiled. "So, whaddaya wanna do, Flutters??"

"Oh? I would've thought it would be kind of difficult to adapt a dress like that." So much for subtlety... Anyway, at that moment, Cat's phone buzzed and she took it out to reveal the message from Colette. "Looks like we'll be meeting the others at a lower end store in about an hour. But I'm going to be getting my hair done; I am long overdue for a restyle. And so that I don't keep the rest of you waiting, I'll see about switching cars with Collie for a bit. Hopefully she doesn't mind." Works for me. We'll see you there in a bit.

Rainbow Dash! and Fluttershy...

 

"That was..." Rainbow Dash practically gasped.

 

"It was..." Nodded Fluttershy in agreement, meeting Dash's gaze.

 

"Awesome!"

 

"Really nice!"

 

The pair looked at each other for a moment as Dash's expression slowly slipped, from a beaming grin to mild confusion.

 

"Wha... 'really nice'? That's what you call it?"

 

"Well it was..." Shy averted her eyes to the ground: unsure of what was wrong. She was so certain that her description was more accurate than Rainbow's... but she wouldn't dare argue the fact. Besides, Rainbow Dash was her friend. "I really liked it. Where did you learn to play the... it's a piano, right? Where did you learn to play like that? Could I learn too?"

 

Dash stalled - looking back and fourth between the two musicians.

 

"The... piano?" She echoed.

"Yeah, that was good too, I guess... but did you hear that riff? It was awesome!"

 

The pair looked at each other again - then at each others respective partners. They grinned, both clearly bordering on bursting into laughter. Fluttershy flushed deeply as she glanced back up at Colette.

 

"I liked you're guitar as well." She added weakly.

Colette smiled back before rising to her feet. "I know it's not what you're used to, but it's been a while, and I left my guitar back in Racine…" she said with a sigh. "I woulda brought it along if shit didn't hit the fan like it did!" She led the timid Pegasus down the hall a bit, until they reached the same spa Catherine and the others were currently in -- Kristy's Produits de Beaute.

 

"I'm not into getting pampered, but you can if you wanna," Colette offered. "Get your nails done like the others!"

@, Rarity laughed. "Not with magic, dear," she said. "My magical talent runs mainly to dressmaking, at least, it did back in Ponyville. But over here I've learned that my magic can be utilised in so many different ways, I can't wait til we get back! Anyway, I can alter a dress by magic to fit a human body, and then alter it back to a pony body. So you would be a perfect model for my creations."

 

Pinkie had been having fun, too. The nail technician had not only given Pinkie a manicure with the earth mare's choice of pink glitter and yellow glittery balloons, but had also done her toenails in the same colours. Pinkie was happy beyond measure.

 

Louise wasn't anything near as happy. She had stuck with the others as promised, but felt really out of place. In a poster shop, one in particular caught her eye; it was one of Luna as she now appeared. Louise gazed at the poster and felt a twinge of homesickness.

Charles came across a Jewery store, as he enters then he saw a neckless with Diamonds on it as he smiles and it was a perfect gift for Rarity so he went to buy the neckless and put it in his bag as he came out then went to find out what next store he will go too.

Nick was thinking what will Pinky will like? AS he was thinking about that question and while he keep looking for the perfect gift for Pinky. Since he do like her while he was thinking and was looking around too.

"You should really look out for something. Come on Dash... i am sure there's something you like. Hmmm maybe i could buy you something like a cologne? Something to remind you of the scent of the flowers back in Equestria?" he asked with curiosity scratching his chin a bit.

"Maybe i'll get something for myself too. Or maybe i'll look if i can find something symbolic. Dunno... what do you think?"

"Um, excuse me…" came a small voice as Pinkie Pie was getting her pedicure. "But are you… are you Pinkie Pie??"

 

The voice belonged to a young girl of about 7 or 8, and who was now standing next to the pink maned mare. "My friends and I saw that you and the rest of the Mane6 were here! Mommy says that you're all just people in costume, but…"

 

The little girl leaned in close, eyes wide and hopeful. "Are you really her??"

"Rarity…??" Came a gasp from a young man as he was seated next to the fashionista. "Omigawd, it IS you!" He then took the Unicorn's still unmamicured hand and shook it lightly. "My friends and I just adore you and your fashion sense! You and your posse should come to the Brony meetup next week! My boyfriend and I will totally be there! Some of Rainbow Dash's minions will be there, too! Say you'll come??"

@@Hypn0ticD, Pinkie grinned from ear to ear. "Absolutely!" she exclaimed in reply to the small girl. Somehow, she managed to reach over and hug the girl while keeping her feet completely still for the beautician to paint her toenails. "Rarity's over there, and Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are somewhere about. Dunno where the others are right now, but they're around this weird world somewhere!"

 

"Wish I could," Rarity said, regretfully to her fan. "But I'm not sure if I'll be around. I just adore your shirt, dear."

 

She could see that the shirt was handmade; it had a huge picture of herself in pony form on it, surrounded by the diamonds off her cutie mark. She didn't want the fan to be disappointed, so she kissed his cheek.

"Really??" The young girl gasped as she recieved a hug from Pinkie. She jumped up and down in glee, clasping her hands over her mouth. "Hang on!"

 

The girl then ran over to her mother, who was currently getting her hair curled, had a brief conversation with her, then came back, brandishing an iPhone. "Can I get your picture? I wanna show my friends that I met you!"

"That's too bad…" the Brony said wistfully. His face brightened a little at the Unicorn's compliment, blushing a little as he was kissed. "Oh, thank you, Miss Rarity!" he giggled a bit, then returned the kiss. "You're such a doll, Miss Rarity! But I can't design for my life, so my boyfriend made it for me! I'll tell him you liked it!"

 

It was then the little girl approached, having snapped a photo of Pinkie Pie. "Pinkie Pie says that you're Rarity. Can I get a picture of you so I can show my friends??"

Book smiled at her again, his teeth a bright contrast against his dark skin, "Many thanks for the compliment. You are correct in assuming I expected you to listen," he gestures to Boone to get the door, and the younger agent obliged, "As for repaying me? Just get Kai'sa back home. That's all I'm really asking. As a Finder, I've known that girl since she fell into this world, and she's like a daughter, and as such, I want her to be where she belongs. And even if it means I can never see her again."

 

He moves off towards the door, glancing out and waiting a few seconds in silence. Book steps back inside, not bothering to look at the corpses of the other agents, and gestures with one thumb, "Kai'sa's been planning a coup against the boss, Justus or whatever his name actually is, for years now. Whatever she told you, about not being able to help? A carefully crafted lie. Why she didn't tell you right away, I don't know, but I'm sure she had her reasons.

 

"What's going to happen now is kinda simple. Firstly, we wait here for a bit, till Kai'sa signals me to get a move on. After that, Boone and I will be your personal escorts out of here and to the extraction point, which is unfortunately a helipad on the other side of the boat. We're likely going to have some opposition on the way, so I'll advise caution. Ideally, we'll be able to sneak there, though. I believe Kai'sa will be leading those loyal to her, as well as the team that set out to rescue you, towards the prison, and probably meet up with us half way."

 

Eventually, the sound of the helicopter coming in could be heard, and Book would once again listen to the comm piece in his ear, before gesturing to Boone to get ready to move and then turn to the Queen, "Any more questions before we get moving?"

Kai'sa raised an eyebrow as she felt a hand clasp around her own, and as such she was forced to turn and face the owner. She had a passive expression for a second before faintly recognizing the Changeling before her. She never really interacted directly with the younger Commander back home, but she had often seen her with Chrysalis. Kai'sa smiled, lightly squeezing Cicada's hand, "I am aware. It was he who brought me here in the first place, after all." She placed a hand Cicada's briefly, then released her and began to move again, gesturing for the rest of the team to follow her.

 

Sebastian was completely confused as he was herded along with the others, adjusting the sling of the 50. that he had only barely had time to retrieve that now lay across his back. He sprinted up to stand nearer to Kai'sa, giving voice to his bafflement, "So just what the hell's going on?"

 

She spared him a glance, "Something I have been planning for over a decade. You were a new, but needed, addition. Without you, I'm not sure we could've gotten help from the other Finders for this endeavor. They never would've reached us."

 

"I'm still lost." He said.

 

Kai'sa sighed, "I'm staging a coup on Justus. A mutiny or whatever you want to call it, any word of that sort fits, aboard the Sovereign Sun," as they walked further, towards the inside of the ship, the muffled sounds of gunshots and shouting from within the corridors could start to be heard, and their escort grew more wary - holding their weapons tighter, closer to the ready position, and their eyes more alert than before. Kai'sa remained un-phased as she marched on, "You're likely wondering where Justus is while this is going on. He's out of the way, for now. He may be frighteningly powerful in the realm of magic, but he's still just a pony - of human, as it were. This world's sleep inducing drugs are still quite potent. Why didn't I just kill him? Chrysalis wants him to face justice, and for that, he must be alive.

 

"But I digress. I see at least some of you came fully prepared to fight, which is an admirable choice. However, if all goes as planned, you will not need to bloody your hands in this. Leave that to myself and those loyal to me."

 

At this point, Logan picked up his pace a bit, raising his voice to speak to the former Hive Commander, "How exactly did you plan for all of this?"

 

Kai'sa spared him a glance, turning slightly to gesture to the escort - three of whom turned and sprinted back to the chopper, the rest sticking with the group - once she had finished this, she simply responded with, "Instinct."

 

The officer didn't seem convinced, as evidenced by his repeating, "Instinct?" His voiced cloaked heavily with incredulity.

 

"Yes," Kai'sa said, "You seem to be forgetting I was the highest ranking official - below the monarchy - in the Changeling Hive. As such, I know how my kind works. A Queen is a Hive's life blood, and without her, the Hive will fall apart. Naturally, since we captured the Queen and the only two of her kind that came along would be dead set on protecting her, so that she may return home, they would naturally come here.

 

"Cicada and the Captain - forgive me, I do not know your name - did not disappoint. The fact that they brought you along was an unexpected, but incredibly welcome factor. I had hoped it would happen - after all, the ponies would need Chrysalis to return home, so why wouldn't some come along to help?" She pauses for breath. The group is nearly inside the first structure in the ship's deck. The remaining escort have now taken up a surrounding position on the group, weapons raised.

 

Kai'sa continues, "In going with my deducing the ponies would come, and likely their Finders as well, if mine was to be of any example to how a Finder comes to care for the Equestrian they found, I specifically constructed the mind control spell upon Sebastian, so that when he saw someone of relation - in this case, you, Mr. Kieffer - he would leap to aid them. I don't know if he would've without the tampering, but better not to take any chances."

 

Logan glanced at Sebastian, who was surprisingly calm now. He had been ever since the words 'Sovereign Sun' came out of Kai'sa's mouth. Some sort of safe word, he gathered. The cop looked back to the Changeling at the head of the group, resituating his grip on his rifle. They were inside now, and as if it were possible, the escort was even more on the alert. The sound of fighting could be heard throughout the structure, but nowhere nearby. Logan looked to Ulysses, who was walking slightly crouched. That meant it was relatively safe here. He'd likely be growling and barking if anyone hostile was close.

 

He had no more questions, and owed his pace util he was back to walking near Applejack. Diliges spoke up almost immediately, "My name is Diliges, a Captain. What exactly is the plan now, Commander?"

 

"Former Commander, Captain. Former. To answer, have a predetermined rendezvous point, to which I am leading you, Captain. There, we will meet with the one I trust the most in this world - my Finder. He will have Chrysalis safe under his care. After we meet up, my people will escort you back to your helicopter, and Sebastian will take you away from here."

 

"And as for yourself?" He asked.

 

"I'm going to destroy this ship." Was all she'd say on the matter before moving on.

 

(this is all I came up with, and it will have to do. Hopefully my next one will be swifter in coming.)

Stephen led the way out of the helicopter, then quickly made his way to the others, the princess in tow. Chancing a quick glance back at her, he got a good look at her face.

 

He could tell the princess was doing her best to remain calm, despite the situation. Admirable, yes, but maybe Sebastian, along with this Kai'sa-- could provide the cover they needed? If not, them maybe there could be a way for her to use her magic without being tossed directly into the line of fire…?

 

He caught up to the others, caught sight of Cicada had shaking hands with the other Changeling, before keeping pace with the rest of the group.

 

Looking around at the other members of Kai'sa's posse, he felt at least a bit more assured that they just might be able to pull off saving the Changeling queen… but still, there had to be something he could do!

Shawn could only listen and follow as Sebastian gave voice to some of his very own concerns, specifically the concerns of what was going on and just what Kai'sa was planning. He fell in a but closer to Angie as they approached the corridors, hearing the muffked sounds of gunfire, coupled with a cacophony of shouts. "Sounds like a party…" he snidely remarked. "Angie… sees us a len ae yer n a gun? Dun wanna be a total load 'round here…"

 

He heard the Changeling commander speak up, telling the rescue team that need not sully their hands in the skirmish. Still… "Ah'd rather at least try tae protect mahself and everyane here…"

"Applejack locked a firm grip around Logan's arm once he rejoined her. Her lips pursed as as she heard the chilling sound from hours earlier. "Logan?? Try not ta git shot. Ah know you won't, but still…"

 

Kai'sa said something about a "Justis," as that he was a powerful Unicorn--back in Equestria. She also said something about knocking him out with some human drug... she then went on to say that the queen wanted to see to it he saw Changeling justice. It was all she could do to not scoff. Queenie was in for a nasty surprise when they got to Equestria!

 

She fell silent as the the rescue party and posse came into the corridor, letting go of the officer's arm as the gunshots were getting louder. Why were they firing? Was the queen already out??

 

Applejack fell in beside Logan as the group reached the first structure on the deck. She looked to Kai'sa, wondering what the next move would be...

"I dunno, I was kinda hoping we might find that book you were going on about?" Dash shrugged, only half paying attention as her eyes wandered to peer out of the store - wondering exactly how many of the people here would recognise her.. she was practically a celebrity in the world after all!

 

'Huh, better not let them see me hanging around any nerdy places then... like libraries and bookshops...

 

She frowned slightly, unsure how she could beat this somewhat awkward scenario.

 

"Aha!" It the was perfect plan. "Hey, I kinda need to... y'know, run to the bathroom. Could you see if you can find it for me? The book I mean - I'll meet you back here?"

 

Putting on her most winning smile, she waited for an answer.

Fluttershy...

 

"Okay!"

 

It took little coercing to persuade Fluttershy to join her friends in the spa - it was almost just like back home, with her and rarity... perhaps Pinkie didn't usually join them, but it happened on occasion. She peeked inside and back at Colette - and uncharacteristically mischievous look on her face.

 

Reaching out suddenly, 'Shy grasped her partners wrist and heaved her inside the spa - determined to do something together, even if it meant being more... what was the word... assertive?

 

"Come on, you'll like it!" She giggled slightly in her fit of bravery, even as she felt it slipping away. This was a bad idea, a really bad idea. Everyone would see her being mean and Colette would hate her and Rarity wouldn't want to go to the spa with her any more and...

 

"Pleeeeease? For me?"

Twilight Sparkle.

 

"We can't just stand here!" Twilight snapped at the inaction of the others, who seemed content to let whoever was fighting battle between themselves. "I hate Chrysalis, but we can't get gone without her. Besides, I don't want her dead!"

 

She felt on edge - more so that she would have thought, even with the adrenaline pumping through her veins. Something was making her anxious about the whole situation and it wasn't nice... making it hard to focus on anything or think clearly. Thankfully, the studious unicorn was more than prepared for mental challenges like this - it wasn't so different from staying awake to study for a full three days after all.

 

Still, it made her feel rushed and impatient... almost hyperactive.

 

"We've got to do something!"

((HE'S ALIVE~!! And Twilight's already an Alicorn in this RP, BTW!))

 

Colette was more than content to just wait for Fluttershy as she joined the other, more girly girls in beautifying herself. She would think of something to do in the meantime-- perhaps just watch YouTube videos whilst… Fluttershy suddenly had a look not before seen on her timid face…

 

Before she knew it, Colette found herself inside the girlish establishment, looking around with bewilderment. "What the…??" She turned to the yellow clad Pegasus, whom had just stated that she would like it with a giggle, though Colette could easily see that her sudden burst of confidence was quickly breaking down.

 

"Pleeeeease? For me?"

 

Colette looked into those big teal puppydog eyes and sighed. As much as she didn't want to, she just had to do it! "Okay… maybe I can get a wash and trim… "

 

Colette then led her to the counter, where she was greeted by a young woman. She requested the wash and trim before turning to Fluttershy. "Whaddya want, sweetie??"

After Cat finished getting her nails done and paying for everyone, she went up to Colette to ask her about what she planned. "Hey, Collie, what would you think of going on with the others after everyone's ready to go, while I went to get my hair dyed? I'll only be a little over half an hour or so, so it won't be too long. You all could check out the city or head back to my place or something."

@@00Pony, Chrysalis listened in silence as everything she heard was registering into her brain. Most of all she hated being inactive for so long and she stretched her muscles. She tried once shapeshifting, twice... her body was engulfed in flames as she took the form of one of the dead guards.

"Who should i transform into? Are we allowed to kill? Is there someone you need spared? Do we expect lots of violence? You need to point me out... because frankly right now i've been bottling a lot of anger and i don't want humans like you paying for that. Justus commited a crime... and i intend to use all of my might to find him a suitable payment for his crimes. Even if that includes using forbidden spells... In any case do you need this ship standing by the end of it? I think our conflict might send it to the bottom of the ocean... if i don't do it first."

She was calm as she breathed out concentrating to expell her anger from becoming toxic to her own brain. It was tiring... and she was about to lash out.

Colette blinked. Well, this was sudden! "Well, I was gonna get my hair trimmed whilst Fluttershy…"

 

She turned to her girlfriend. "What did you want, Flutters?" She had spoken so softly that Colette didn't quite hear…*

Pinkie grinned as her photo was taken. She looked around and saw Fluttershy nearby with Colette. "Come over here, Flutters!" she called. "You gotta be in this picture, too!"

 

Louise reluctantly entered the spa. She had inspected her hair and saw that the dye needed to be renewed so she figured that she might as well get it done here. Louise had been dying her hair for years; her natural mane colour was a dark aquamarine blue, and dying it black helped with her integration into human society. It was a nuisance tho cuz she had to keep it renewed every six weeks.

Rainbow Dash!

 

"Too easy..." Sniggered Rainbow Dash as she slunk away - slipping sideways as she left the store and back into the mall filled with adoring fans. It must have been such a disappointment to see her leave the first time: she couldn't leave them hanging like that!

 

Striding through the crowds, the Pegasus causally glanced around to see if anyone around was going to point or shout and start the mad rush of praise that she rightfully deserved for being just that awesome!

Fluttershy...

 

"Oh, I don't mind..." it wasn't that she was trailing off this time - she was just not particularly loud. "I just thought that we could do something like this together, if that's okay?"

 

Smiling to herself with absentminded pride at her assertive action, she shrugged a little whilst looking around the human-spa with mild interest. Her friend would no doubt find hundreds of new things to pique her interest, but Fluttershy was just happy to be there. "Me and Rarity used to do this all the time, I know you don't normally like... this sort of thing, but I wanted you to be a part of it, even uf its just once."

There were pockets of people here and there as Rainbow Dash walked, pointing and smiling. Some even waved to her. The two Bronies from earlier made reappeared, huge grins on their faces as they approached.

 

"Hey, Dash!" The first said. "It's been a while since you've done your show. What's going on?? Are we gonna see any more?"

 

"Are you gonna play scary games again? It was hilarious when you played Amnesia!" The second Brony chimed in. "Did it really scare you that much??"

 

More and more patrons took notice of the rainbow maned Pegasus as the Bronies questioned her, some even stopping to ask questions of their own…

 

"Hey Dash, any more stories to tell?"

 

"You gonna race anypony else??"

 

"Are you gonna go to ComicCon?? Please say yes!"

 

"Can you sign this, please??"

 

Before long, there was a gathering of around 20 men, women, and girls converging around Dash, a few of the Bronies and Pegasisters either sporting MLP merchandise or wearing shirts depicting the Cutie Marks of the Mane6, blocking the foot traffic…

"Yeah, that's alright!" Colette responded. She wasn't one to get pampered, but if it meant spending time with Flutters, doing something that she enjoyed, then so be it! After a bit of thinking, Colette turned back to the cashier. "Make that two wash and trims and a manicure!"

 

She would've ordered the massage or facial for Fluttershy, had they not been there to shop for clothes. But did Fluttershy want anything else?? She thought back to the one episode she watched with Dash where Fluttershy was made into a model… thinking on it now, Fluttershy didn't seem like was comfortable with anyone--anypony-- excepting herself now, of course! So yes, the trim and and manicure would please her! Or maybe it wouldn't… Dammit, why is pleasing someone suddenly so hard??

 

"Come over here, Flutters!"

 

Colette was pulled from her thoughts by the sound of Pinkie Pie's voice. "You gotta be in this picture, too!"

 

Colette turned to see Pinkie, who was in the midst of getting a pedicure. There was a young girl who had just made her way over to Rarity, a huge grin on her face. "Can I get your picture, please, Miss Rarity? I wanna show my friends I met you! The real you!"

 

Colette turned back to Fluttershy, catching sight of Louise in the corner of her eye. "Do you wanna get your picture taken while we get our hair done?"

 

The girl turned to face them as she overheard Colette, gasping, then holding up her mother's phone. "Pleeease?? I wanna show my friends that you're really here!"

"Well I- I guess we could get our hair done together then." Damn, not what I expected she would say. I thought she would be more interested in getting the necessities and getting out, not pampering herself with Fluttershy. If only she knew what I was trying to do for her. What am I supposed to do now?

"Hey Rainbow Dash! You're an alien right? I mean no offense but you're a pony a foreigner. How come you haven't attracted attention by the police or anyone else yet?" Dennis had picked up the book Dash asked and he was watching being ready to interfere if things got south.

How would Dash react to the strange inquiries of a fan? What would she say if she heard of...

"You must be careful Dash... if they get their hands on you you're in trouble."

The clerk led the girls to the rinsing stations, and in short order, two hairdressers were working a lather into Colette and Fluttershy's hair.

 

"My, your hair's so soft and lovely! No dryness or damage at all!" The stylist washing Fluttershy's hair cooed. "And uniform color throughout. So few of my clients color their hair like th's without danaging it. How do you do it?"

 

The stylist working Colette's hair was not as fortunate. "Girl, you've got splits all up in your hair! You need a deep conditioner right this second!"

 

Colette groaned. Looks like she was gonna be there for a little while… "Don't suppose I can get a touch up on my color, can I??"

Several of the other Bronies looked over to the paranoid one, but paid him no real mind.

 

"Where are the others, Dash?"

 

"Are you fighting any bad guys here?"

 

"Didja see the new toyline yet??"

@@Hypn0ticD, (can you play the hairdresser? I want to characterise Louise a bit more)

 

Louise was shown to a seat next to Colette at the hair salon. Louise always used a fine powder to make the blue roots to her dyed black hair appear to be grey. She always pretended that she had gone grey in her teens, and hairdressers were always sympathetic. The powder was one that she'd invented herself, after she got tired of dying her hair at home. It was in short a temporary dye that would last for about a day and she applied it the day she was going to go to the hairdressers. It was a nuisance, but Louise didn't want awkward questions to be asked from hairdressers as to why her hair happened to be naturally coloured aquamarine blue.

Rarity was happy enough to sign an autograph for the little girl, as well as to give her some tips on fashion. After all, she felt it was never too early to start looking good.

Rainbow Dash!

 

"Hey! Hey there! How y' doing?"

 

Dash moved through the crowds with a sure stride, slowing as she reached the centre so that her adoring fans could keep up with her. She didn't make any attempt to clear the obstruction that they were clearly making - after all, there wasn't going to be anything in the mall more interesting than her after all, was there?

 

"Damn, there's a lot if you isn't there? Heh, it's cool, don't worry - I'm not going to miss any of you out. Yeah, it's me, hey there..."

 

This went on for a little while: the Pegasus basking in the glow of adoration until she was approached by a more vocal member of the group.

 

"Huh, I'm Rainbow Dash - I'll run circles around those goons!" She smirked widely. "Nobody messes with 'Dash! And who are you calling an 'alien' anyway?"

Fluttershy...

 

"Oh! I... uhm..." What sort of question was that? She didn't 'do' anything - her mane hair was just like that. Unsure of what else to say, Fluttershy have a sort of half-shrug. "I... wash it?" She squeaked uncertainly.

 

Was that wrong? Humans had coloured hair, and they changed the colour sometimes... she supposed that not many of them seemed to be quite like hers.

 

"And I, uhm..." She added hastily. "I sometimes... do... other things, as well."

 

She bit her lip - certain that she had said something wrong: it had been such an unusual question after all!
