I have a couple of questions for those who make PMVs

 

What *inexpencive- programs does one need to make a good PMV?

 

How does one get show clips without watermarks?

 

Even though I have made a couple of PMVs that turned out Okay i used YT clips. I tried buying episodes but they wouldn't work in my video maker program

Vegas Movie Studio HD 11. Best program to do that kinda stuff. (Splicing videos, clips, pictures ect.)

But Vegas is costly so Pirate it!

About the watermark. You're gonna have to do some sleuthing around to find one without the watermark. 

Might look with Google or on Youtube then use a simple Youtube video downloader.

Windows movie maker? You probably just laughed but i'm dead serious. It's not about the software it's about the user. A master of Windows Movie Maker will create a better PMV than a novice of Adobe After Effects. Also if you don't mind being a pirate to get your software, go to thepiratebay.org for free everything.

I made these two using Power Director 10. Its a basic maker and it works okay but you can't cut/splice in segments within a scene itself *or I just haven't figured out how* but I dont think it can.

 

I'd get Adobe CS6 but that's a $2k program so I'm looking for something that's just as good with a lot less cost

 

The water mark issue is the real question I need an answer for... I just don't know how to get content without it. I bought an episode on ITunes but it wouldn't work in PD10

I personally use Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 12, which I got for $50. DON'T buy any Vegas products from the website; get them at Amazon or something similar, because they are way cheaper there. 

 

Ponyship has color corrected 1080p episodes, and if you can't find those, there's also the option of using a youtube downloader. Freemake has a nice one.
