Slim chances of Chrysalis returning in season 4

I really want her back. To me she is like the shredder and darth vader. The changelings have so much potential in the canon. I hope McCarthy doesn't waste such a good concept. I feel like if Lauren was still around she would be here.

Well at the end of Season two she was only blasted far away with her changelings. God knows where she landed or if she even landed in a safe place, but I guess there could be a pretty slim chance, she was pretty successful taking over Canterlot and probably could of taken over Equestria if she just turned around (lol).

Well she came back in the comic and tried to get her revenge, but still in the end lost.

 

As for her coming back to the show, maybe. It would be nice for her to come back, because she has just been a turn villain that the mane 6 have battled. It would just deepened on what her plan is.

Looks like someone did not read the comic yet. She got blasted to a town with even more love.

I would like her to return, but not just as an enemy, but to also pull an 'Enemy Mine' with the heroes and thus, afterwards, not be an enemy anymore, but neither an ally. You know what I mean? Kind of like Starscream was during Transformers Prime. Kinda neutral.

I don't see that working. The changelings are parasites and would never work together with their food. Reforming only worked for discord

I'd definitely like to see her return to the show. She's a great villain. Possibly the best one they've done. And I have to agree with Mark on any kind of reformation with her. I don't think it would work. And honestly, I don't want it to. Reforming worked for Discord. I liked it. But I don't want to see that become a theme.

I think you both don't understand exactly what reform means. What I was suggesting was NOT reforming. An enemy mine is when the two conflicting parties put aside their differences to defeat a common enemy. It is not a permanent armistice between then, just a temporary alliance, even if it may have some lasting effects.

 I was simply agreeing that reforming (which I do know the meaning of) would not work. I did not reference your post at all.

 

That being said, what you are suggesting is something I am unsure about. I think that for me, it would depend on how it was handled. That could be pretty cool if it was done well from a story standpoint.

I'd like to see Chrysalis' return in the show but my gut's telling me that she'll most likely be a reserved character for the comic series and her chances of coming back are slim. Ah but who knows right? I never expected Discord to return in S3, let alone become friendly. We shall see what the FiM crew has in store for us

I think she might come back. Since changeling's are an entirely different race to the ponies, I'm sure at least some changelings will pop up in season 4. I think, since Chrysalis is quite popular, she probably will get at least an episode, maybe like Discord's in season 3, but it is unlikely that she'll be reformed in it!

Honestly, not particularly. Chrysalis got a HUGE returning role in the MLP comics. If any villain should be returning in S4 it should be Sombra, maybe even Nightmare Moon.

I don't really think it will happen, as it would take at least two episodes to accomplish anything significant with changelings, and I can't see the writers choosing to use a premiere/finale to give us more on them, at least in the near future. If anyone's likely to come back in Season 4, it's Discord or some of the minor antagonists like Gilda or Lightning Dust. I'm more interested in them anyway, to be honest.

There are some chances about Chrysalis returning in Season 4, in about 2 ways. The Changelings coming back from that far away land that they blasted off in the Canterlot Wedding episode. The second possible way is, Chrysalis going out into Canterlot without the Changeling Army then she just calls them to her so they could try to takeover again.
