I can honestly see the SC Courner getting clogged with thousands of topics, and the rest only having a few hundred. And RPs do not deserve to be grouped with regular forum games. That way, every user can devote a thread to their character(s) instead of the confusing mish-mash a "Post your own OC in THIS thread" would generate. Fund it. I think there really does need to be a forum for non-pony because non-pony threads will come up but some people would rather not go through them. That's just my opinion, though. It's just a bunch of buttons and panels in the ACP. I for one would support just more catagories in general. The only reason we don't have a ton of categories all over the place is because we're still a very new forum, and keeping the discussion condensed to as few sections as possible will help make the place look more active. That said, separating FiM-related discussion from general pony discussion is a good idea, and I'll put that into effect. If you do start up an RP forum, you should provide a separate OC forum. You mean a forum where people can just post a "this is my OC" thread? I think the tagging/prefixing system could help us out there (though there is a mod for IP.Board I could install that will make that system about 10x more effective). Let's see if we actually get any good RP's going first, though - as I said, I don't want to spread our activity too thin over too many sections. Fund it. I have no experience using IPBoard, but separating the sections might lessen any future confusion. I'm surprised it happened that quickly! And Everfree Forest really is a perfect name for it. This forum is full of win, and it isn't even a day old yet. I just try to be responsive to feedback. The launch of MLP Forums blew all my expectations clear out of the water and well past the moon, so Sugarcube Corner and Show Discussion began filling up much faster than I had planned for. Honestly, I agree that it was just getting disorganized there. The Everfree Forest was very much needed.
