Can they pull this off?

After watching the Promo for EQG, I think that Hasbro/DHX can pull it off. While my friend is all like NO THEY CANT but I may want to see the movie.....maybe.

Of course they cal pull Equestria Girls off! First, all the original voice actors, and Daniel Ingram are coming back. Not to mention that Megan McCarthy is writting the episode, and she's the best writer of the series.

The team has given little evidence in the past that they're going to screw up Equestria Girls, and what evidence there is isn't enough to convince me. Granted, EG might still suck, but I believe it will be impossible to determine until the movie actually comes out.

Th e morei think about it, the less confident i think this movie is going to be. Think about it, what makes the show great is the different personalities of the show (or there is more than one main character). With Twilight acting as themain character, the other characters representing the other 5 are going to be secondary characters, and with all of there personality, how could one do that? This is my opinion, and im not bashing on Twilight sparkle, she is one of my favorite characters. However, what makes the show awesome is that it is relatable, and with twilight being the main character, we are not going to get all the relatablility as we do with the main 6. However, i could be wrong, we will just have to wait till June 15th (or July 6th for me).

To be honest, the trailer is freaking me out a bit, but I trust the FiM team.

and if you dont like it let me just remind you this show was made for 6 year olds and i think there still trying to appeal to 6 year olds  

any way i cant wait to see twilight freak out in a who different world

I get the feeling that they're going to pull this one off epicly and exceed all of our expectations by miles. I want to see it but I'm British so I'll have to wait for the dvds. Also relevant, the human seen getting a hug from twilight rather looks a lot like my oc humanised. Yay

My main worry is it coming across like yet another high-school-teen-girl-drama movie. I plan on seeing it, because Meghan and her team have more than earned the right to benefit of the doubt.
