Okay, so I was thinking...

 

What would happen if we put the ponies in the place of the Scooby Doo characters?

 

Kinda random, but that's how I got the idea: randomly (I also saw a thing on the Scratchpad wiki, but I saw that after I thought of it). The mane cast would be like this:

 

• Applejack as Fred Jones-I can see AJ being the leader-type pony. Plus they're both blonde, so bonus points.
• Rarity as Daphne Blake-This one's SO obvious; totally girly fashionistas that still get the job done.
• Twilight Sparkle as Velma Dinkley-They're both total geniuses. Seriously.
• Fluttershy as Norville "Shaggy" Rogers-If this isn't already obvious, it should be. The common trait between the two is MOST OBVIOUSLY is Shaggy's cowardice compared to Fluttershy's...well, shyness. Not to mention they both have pets. Plus Fluttershy saying "zoinks" would just be friggin' ADORABLE!
• Pinkie Pie as Scooby Doo-They're both somewhat...excitable. Plus they're both the comic relief.

That's basically it. Just getting the idea out there. In the mean time, enjoy a pic of Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie cosplaying, corresponding to what I posted above.

How about Spike as Fred? setting off those booby traps to catch the guy in the monster suit requires a certain level of dexterity. Applejack has neither a horn nor wings nor hands, and thus has no way of setting off a trap worthy of Fred. Spike however has hands and can manipulate things like levers, knobs and switches.

Hm, good point...I mean, not only would that make more sense, but that would definitly make Sparity shippers quite happy. But honestly I'm too lazy to change it.
