my little kirin: hybrids are magic

This is my take on what a kirin (dragon/pony hybrid) would look like in mlp. I will (eventually) make him into an official oc, but right now its just a cool drawing. Any tips, suggestions, critisizm, or opinions are greatly appreciated. How did I do? (Again, forgive me for the bad photo)

thanks, I tried to make him look as nice as possible, yet still threatening... needless to say it was difficult, being an oxymoron and all. But I like how it came out.

Ahem, I made up a kirin OC a while back and found that they tend to look better with some mane/fur.

Anyway, i you're interested, I posted some anatomy sketches here.

Make some of the spikes a bit bigger and add some more details to the wing, maybe curve the horn and add fins to the side of the head.

I was vaguely aware of the meaning o the word, but Ihonestly just came up with Amy as the magically conceived daughter of Spike and Rarity without thinking about a term beyond "dragonpony".Larter @@Ion, a pretty cool dude, suggested the term kirin, so I went with that from then on.

here's the updated version. What do you think? I added a mane, changed the tail, fixed the wings and changed the horn. I kinda had trouble with the wings though.

no... please don't put those images in my mi-... too late. Haha, but seriously, I was going to make him a new oc and give him a backstory. I'll do sometime soon... hopefully.
