The Twilight image was made to emphasize Twilght's realization of the magic of friendship and the harmony that entails. Using her cutie mark to show that it was always part of who she is. I used a book to frame the lower half of Twilight as well as to so that her studious nature was part of what lead her to this.

This is my Nightmare Moon piece. I wanted to emphasize her mane, make it look even more magical looking. Using it to also present her beautiful night. I completed by framing her lower section with the crescent moon. It was made in Photoshop and uses a combination of vectors and painting.

These are very impressive. I, myself, can only draw traditional. I particularly like your Nightmare Moon piece, and not only because Nightmare Moon is my favorite villain. I've been working on a NM print for a while actually.

Heh, looks like the talent alert system just went off. I particularly love Twilight's position with her wings out like that. I also love Luna's eyes. Wish I could see more of her body, though.
