Mr. Clever runs through the Doctor's past regenerations while I twidle my thumbs

Okay, so this particular piece of drawing came from my love for one of the episodes from the past season of Doctor Who, "Nightmare in Silver". In it, the Doctor is pitted against one of his oldest foes, the Cybermen, who convert any living organism they can into a cyborg, and destroy those it cannot. Eventually, he's subdued and has a mind-control thingy attached to his head, which implants the Cyber-Planner, the Cybermen's leader, into his mind. From then on out, it's a battle of wits and cheaty-weaty chess playing literally against himself while his companion and a squad of soldiers fight off the encroaching army of Cybermen.

It's great stuff (and written by the same guy who wrote Coraline and The Sandman, Neil Gaiman), with the best parts being the Doctor's schizophrenic fight against his own evil personality, who has taken to calling himself "Mr. Clever". One scene sees him looking over all the knowledge stored in the Doctor's brain, which includes info on his past incarnations. I decided to doodle out this scene so I could practice drawing ponies (and to envision what the other Doctors would look like as ponies).

And yes, before any Wholigans get angry, I know that it was the Eleventh Doctor who was in the episode, but I used the Tenth Doctor pony (which to everyone else is the standard Doctor Whooves) because...I don't know.

Anywho, here we go.

There's the full image. The camera quality sucks, so let's take a closer look.

There's Mr. Clever, my favorite part of this picture. It was important to capture all that spittle-action.

Here's good old Doctor Whooves, with the classic David Tennant quizzical eye brow lift. Man, do I miss that.

Okay, from left to right, the Eighth, the First, the Seventh, and the Second Doctors.

From left to right, the Fifth, the Fourth, and the Ninth Doctors.

There's the Sixth Doctor, all by his lonesome. Poor Colin Baker. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

And we end with the Third Doctor (the one on the bottom) and the Eleventh Doctor. The Second Doctor got caught in this pic too, but he's one of the best Doctors, so he can do whatever he wants, that rascal.

And that's pretty much it. Hope you all enjoyed this, Bronies and Whovians alike. Comment on this webzone, and I'll e-mail you a pizza roll (brohoof X 1,000,000 if you get that reference).

What Citrus was listening to while drawing this abomination.

Ha, I like that! I like the expressions on #1, #3 and #6. *grump grump grump* while the rest are grinning like loons.

Some day when I actually get my Dr. Whooves story finished, I should commission you to do a couple of illustrations for it. yay.png

He's a grinnin' fool, he is. I may be a minority on this, but I personally think Christopher Eccleston gives Tom Baker a run for his money for Best Grin. He may be "the bitter one", but he was a fun Doctor.
