Diamond raised an eyebrow. "I'm totally happy doing what I do...plus, I don't want to brag...but my hard work is really starting to pay off, I am getting much better at my magic." She said, sipping her tea. "And in answer to your first questions...no no and no. I have no friends, I don't really like big concerts and I have no interest in having a colt...or marefriend...I hate to say it, but they would just kinda slow me down. I'm better alone." She said.

Lycan sighed and shook his head slightly, "that's what I used to think before I joined fairytale.....but after spending some time with this group of nuts.....I've come to realize just how wrong I was.....think about it, if you spend all your time as a shut-in then you'll do nothing but make you bitter and anti-social.....not to mention.....that you'll risk losing your freinds...." said lycan quitely.

Diamond sipped her tea, and replied, her voice absent of any sort of expression. "What friends?" She said, taking a bite of her scone. "I have no friends to lose. I am quite social and not bitter...never have been. I can be rather strict but I am strict no matter what. There is no fooling around when it comes to me and what I do." She said.

Lycan thought for a moment, before finally answering, "well thunder and forest are at his house, rambler and minath are hanging out somwhere, and I'm here with you, but have no clue where sole is, he's probably off training some place....do you want me to tag along or go back to my room? Its your choice, I have nothing better to do..." said lycan.

Regal had troubles falling a sleep thanks to the ponies in the next room.

Still he listened to what was being said from the other room. Closing his eyes once more he remembered things from his past.

"Magic is the only friend I have" Regal said to him-self. "In the end everyone is alone and we must be strong" 

Regal began to untie the wraps he had on his legs to reveal the runes he had written on them. 

Taking out a quill he removed some of the older runes and replaced them with one he thought he would need tomorrow. As much as it hurt to write the new runes on his flesh, the pain was the only thing to remind him that he still was only a pony. He looked at the moon from his window and tears started falling down his face.

"You know something" He shouted to the Moon "I miss our talks" he said almost in a whisper.

Diamond shrugged. "I wasn't really planning on doing anything...I was considering going back to the arena to train a little more." She said, stretching her wings. "But I think I may just leave it for tonight and hit the hay...that or go get something to eat before bed. Tea is good but its not very filling...same goes for the scones." She said, getting to her hooves.

Lycan shrugged, "alright, I guess I'll go get some sleep for tomorrow, I wonder who we'll be fighting tomorrow....I hope its sompony who'll give me a good challenge, otherwise it won't be any fun. What guild do you think we'll fight against first? Oh well, it doesn't matter, we'll win no matter who it is!" Said lycan confidently.

But like I said, I've bothered you long enough today, I think I'll go get some slee-" lycans words were cut short as his stomach growled loudly, lycan blushed slightly, "uuuhh.....on second thought.....who needs sleep.....mind if I join you? Lycan grinned, "neat trick, here, let me try somthing....." said lycan before he began whistling a low tune that got higher in pitch by the second, he then began to fluxuate the sound of it to give it more of a beat, after a moment, thousands of crickets began to chirp in sync to his whistling, almost like they were being orchastrated to do so, after one more eerie chorus, lycan stopped his whistling, as did the crickets, lycan sighed before grinning at diamond, "how was that? Pretty neat huh?" Asked lycan cheerfully.

Thunder soon landed at the entrence for the hotel. He closed his wings and to a quick glance around for any familiar faces.not seeing any, he procedded to go into the building. He started to look for his room. "Which room was it...." He said to himself trying to remember.
