Royal smiled. "We could do something, something nice. I know i good theater restaurant is right out of town. It's a bit of a walk, but well worth it, from what ive heard." 

 

He chuckled a bit when she put on her glasses, noting how she looked even cuter with them.

"I'm sure he does. I think he'll find things have progressed a little."

 

He laughed, hurting his side, but not too much to stop.

"He's so charming, mum. He just swept me off my feet!" He joked, in a funny voice, barely keeping from laughing.

"Ooh, that sounds lovely! I'm looking forward to it." Denim says, perking up slightly in her chair at the aspect.

 

She chuckles, "Well yeah, they definitely have."

Denim looks at Royal when he begins to joke, smiling broadly before laughing alongside him, "You certainly have! It didn't take long for that to happen either." She leans on the edge of the bed as she says this.

Royal smiled and nodded, duly noting that he wouldn't need to worry about payment.

"I've seen the place before, it's quite nice."

 

He laughs,

"Glad to know i had something after years of nothing." He said, turning to face denim as much as he could.

"And i picked a great one, as well."

 "Oh, now you're just making me excited about it." Denim says, in a mildly teasing tone.

 

She smiles at him, ignoring the rising blood in her cheeks as she chuckles, "You're not to bad yourself, Royal."

Denim hums quietly for a second before continuing, "That's one of the things that attracted me to you. You're sweet, and respectful," she moves from the chair to sit on the edge of the bed, "And not to mention handsome." She taps his chest lightly when she says this.
"I'm really glad that we were able to meet."

Royal chuckled.

"Kind of the point."

 

He smiled, reaching forward to hold her hooves in his.

"I pride myself on my respect, and i like too think i'm charming too." He chuckled.

"And you're quite beautiful." He said charmingly. "An cute, as a plus. I can't tell you how glad i am they put us together."

Sitting up in bed, Windy yawned and stretched. "Uh, sorry I must've passed out for a second Blaze. I didn't mean to. How's it goin- Minty?! What are you doing back in here?? And why are you crying? Are you ok? What's wrong?" He asked, a concerned look on his face as he tried to get out of bed.

Minty managed to get out, "r-rape.. He g-gave me a bruise.. Saronynx.. In t-trouble.." Minty sobbed out of guilt. She looked down, trying to blink away the tears. She showed a small bruise to Windy. Her face had a small cut, too. "Todd.." Minty sighed. "I'm sorry. ." She said. She looked at her hooves, feeling guilty since it sounded like Minty wanted to leave Windy.

Denim smiles as he take a hold of her hooves, "You are charming!" She uses her magic to lift the glasses from her nose, setting them aside.

Denim chuckles, scrunching her nose, "You really know how to make a girl feel good about herself, you know?" She brought her face a few inches from his as she says this.

"I am fully aware the messages I'm sending doing this.. But I really don't care right now."

Royal smiled, running his hooves up her arms, letting them rest at her shoulders. 

"I always liked to think i was, it's nice to know someone acknowledged it." He chuckled, pulling her a little closer as he looked into her eyes. 

"And here you didn't have to do a thing for me to like you." He pushed his head against hers, lining up their eyes, bumping their noses together.

She smiles when their noses touch, looking into his eyes, "Nothing other than look cute?"

She winks.

Denim places her hooves gently on his chest, leaning in slightly, "You really have lovely eyes.." She stops when her lips a a short distance from his. She clears her throat and leans back to her original position, blushing a bit more than before.

Royal hummed. "Maybe you were really nice, too. I suppose." He joked.

 

Royal smiled. "So do you." He said gazing into them. He frowned a bit when she pulled back, but then continued smiling.

He wrapped his hooves around her, pulling her forward to embrace her.

"Im so glad you came to see me. It's quite lonely in here." His voice quavered a bit on his second statement, and he quietly coughed to keep it normal.

"Well, I guess I was." Denim chuckles.

 

She returns the embrace, if a little gentler so as not to hurt him. Denim inhales deeply, taking in his scent.. The feeling of his fur agains her's.. His body heat mixing with her's.. She had gotten so lost in the embrace, she almost missed him speaking, "Of course I came to see you! What kind of marefriend would I be if I left you alone in here?"

She says, chuckling lightly. Denim caught the quaver of his voice, pulling out of off him a little so her head was next to his, she gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek, but closer to his mouth than last time, "I'll stay here tonight, if you want."

Royal smiled as he felt her fur against his, and he could feel her mane brushing against him as well. 

He turned his head to her, his face only a bit away.

"I would love for you to stay." Then he frowned. "But unfortunately they have some strict visiting times." He smiled.

"I think i will be fine for a bit. Just promise to see me once a day."

She could feel his breath washing over her as he spoke. She sighed again, "I promise. I'll visit you everyday after class. Sound good?"

She smiles, looking into his eyes again, "As much as I would like to say 'screw the rules', I would rather not take a chance of being banned from coming here again.. I wouldn't want to be kept from seeing you for that long..."

 

Denim leans forward, and despite every fiber of her being screaming at her to pull back, she kisses him.

"Neither would i." He said, moments before she kissed him. Royal responded quickly, returning her gesture, relaxing a bit as he did.

He held her tightly, feeling her body against him, her mane on the side of his face, her fur brushing up against his hooves.

Windy's eyes widened at the word 'rape'. His wings spread wide and he flew out of bed, ripping the tubes and needles out of him and tearing out of his hospital gown. Rushing over to Minty's side, he wrapped a wing around her. "He raped you? Minty, are you serious? I always KNEW Todd was no good! I'll rip him apart when I get my hooves on him! I should have grabbed that tire iron of his and broken his dense head open last night when I had the chance!" Windy growled, before turning back to Minty. "Sorry about that. But don't worry, I'm here, and nothing else will happen. But where is he? And where's Saro?" Windy asked, looking at both Minty and Blaze in confusion.

Todd glared angrily at the pony who had kicked in his door. "Hey man, this is MY room you just broke into! What's the big idea, huh? And you scared off my roommate; she could have made a great marefriend for all I know, but now I'll NEVER know. What's your issue man?" he snarled, striding towards Saronyx.

Had she been able, Denim would have smiled when Royal returned the kiss.

She wrapped her hooves around him after it ended, content to just sit there in his arms, her head resting in his shoulder, partially on his chest. She smiled, "I know. And I am yours."

Denim closes her eyes for a few seconds before she realizes something, and starts to chuckle, "This'll get a good reaction out of my family... Though I think I might hold off on telling them till the come to visit."

Saronyx looks a him with partial disbelief, chuckling, "You really don't know, do you? You don't remember a thing?"

He shakes his head, sighing, "That'll almost make beating the shit out if you not worth it."

 

Saronyx's voice goes from his partially jovial tone, to a determined, hard one. He looks Todd dead in the eyes, speaking slowly, and calmly, "That roommate, was Minty. Minty Wintergreen? Remember her? Windy's girl, you know, the one you tried to rape?"

He chuckled, noting that the dorm needing some cleaning before he came.

She shakes her head, partially. It's really just more of a small twitch, "He's probably not going to be coming anytime to soon. I only got here a couple days ago, after all. But then again, knowing him, he might be here by the end of the week."

She looks up at him, "Yeah, that would be a bit awkward. But I trust you'll be out before then."

"I'll make sure he likes me. Does your brother drink? I could get him some wine, as a gift."

 

He chuckled. "Does your brother have a reputation for showing up early?"

"Eh, you know hospitals. they'll keep me in here for a few days even if i'm fine. I should be out in a few days. Probably before the week is out."

Denim scrunches her nose in thought, "Yeah, but not regularly. He's got a bit more of an endurance than I do, though."

 

"Eh, when he's determined and thinks he has a reason," she shrugs slightly, "That's why I'm expecting him to be here a little after you get out."

She sits up so she can look Royal in the face, "We'll they better not keep you to long. I might start getting jealous.." She smiles.

Royal nodded. "I know a few good wines. I can get him one or two." 

 

He sighed. "He sounds a bit like me." He said, chuckling. "But perhaps a bit more like cap." He sighed, stretching a bit.

"Don't worry. I'll be out before too long." He smiled. "And don't be jealous. I have eyes for no other." He said, giving a charming smile.

"Personally, I think Cantáte'll be happy about that." Denim comments wryly.

 

She looks at him, trying to search his face for anything more on his words, but decides not to pursue it, yet.

Denim hums, "Oh, well that's good to hear," she kisses him again, "And just earned you that."

She rests her head on his chest, listening to the beat of his heart as she relaxes.

Royal nods, nuzzling her mane as she laid against his chest. He put his arm around her, his hoof landing the side of her chest, where he could feel her heartbeat. When he was quiet, he could feel her breathing against his chest.

"You know, when i came to college, i told myself i wouldn't get involved in romance." He said quietly, into her ear, as his head was laid against hers. "But where am i? Cuddling in a hospital with an extremely attractive mare."

When Blaze heard the word rape he decided enough was enough. He got up and walked out the door. "Don't mind him. Just give me ten minutes and a lawyer and they'll have to identify his body." He said with a serios tone as he slammed the door and left the hospital.

Blaze made his way over to where he was last, and soon noticed todd. By now, whatever calm he had peft was gone, and at this point; he WANTED to feel nothing but anger. He was going to rip his head off hith his hooves and Blaze just did not care. He walked over to the two and pointed at saron.

"What the heck do you want with him and why are you taking my fight?"
