Post your theories about the upcoming movie "Equestria Girls"! Here are mine:

 

1. Somehow Starswirl made the magical mirror into the human world.

 

2. Canterlot High's mascot is a pony:

 

3. Sunset Shimmer is actually Queen Chrysalis.

 

So, those are mine, what are yours? Tell me below!

My only "theory" is that Sunset Shimmer is not really an evil pony/person. Just look at this picture:

 

 

Look at the way she looks on the left. Does she really seem like someone who'd turn into a horrifying demon? I think there's a nicer side to Sunset. She's either being controlled, corrupted, or maybe there's two of her. Maybe the Changelings are involved once again.

 

Besides, her description on the box of toy makes her sound like a nice pony. And why would they sell pony toys of an "evil" character? I'm assuming Sunset will make friends with the Mane Six in the end in some way, shape, or form. And I hope that means we'll see her as a pony in season 4 (without even mentioning the events of EQG).

My only real "theory" about it's that I think that it will be amazing. Only because, it seems action like, funny and a whole bunch of other things that will make it amazing!

I think Sunset Shimmer isn't stealing the crown for herself and she is actually getting it for someone else; I presume there was an offer made between the too. Perhaps if she doesn't get the crown for whoever she made the deal for, her loved ones will die or something.

 

And I like the idea of the school mascot being a pony. That could lead to some funny moments. (Ex. *students are doing something that represents ponies and Twilight is getting angry because that is nothing like what ponies do.)

Why would Celestia just make a portal to the human world? And more importantly how would she do it? This portal must have been made by somepony with extreme powers.

Celestia IS a somepony with extreme powers. I'm pretty sure she could make a portal if she wanted too and it looks like she has. Why she would? I have no idea.

Celestia CAN break dimensions. She went to another dimension when she sang "Celestia's Ballad" in "Magical Mystery Cure." Also, the sun has a volume equal to 1,300,000 earths. That's a lot of celestial object. I'm pretty sure Celestia has extreme powers if she can move the sun.

 

That's also plausible. I also think that the demon creature the Mane Six have to "defeat" is the true villain and antagonist, and is separate from Sunset Shimmer. Perhaps she's using Sunset?

That's my theory as well. It kind of reminds me of your fanfiction. (By the way, how is that coming along?) Anyway, while it is possible that Sunset Shimmer and the human world is fake (which would explain why there are incarnations of ponies in Equestria; Celestia probably based the humans off the ponies in Equestria when she created the world. Maybe the whole thing is a test?), your theory is more likely.

You know, now that I think about it, I'm starting to like my theory about everything being fake. It would make sense as it would explain why she had a portal (the whole thing is a test), why Sunset is just now existing, why there are humans who look like the ponies in Equestria (Celestia probably based the humans off ponies in Equestria), a villain would be a good challenge for a new princess, and why the rest of the mane 6 couldn't come; it was a test that Twilight had to do alone to prove herself.

 

Also, it would make a good twist and it would make the whole thing non-canon due to everything not being real.

Sunset Shimmer is working with her,or being used!

Twilight Sparkle wasn't the first pony to be in this universe. It was discovered by Starswirl when he learn a new spell that let unicorns teleport into new dimensions.

Hmm. I have a few opinions.

 

1. The mirror may have been made by Sunset Shimmer or Starswirl the Bearded.

 

2. Sunset Shimmer JUST MIGHT be a demon (the movie is for teenagers after all)

 

3. I agree that the mascot is probably a pony.

 

4. Spike can... talk, I think?

 

5. Rainbow Dash is being FORCED to wear that skirt (same with AJ). I mean, why would she ever wear a skirt of her own free will?

 

6. Twilight's crown must have some special power. (Why else would Sunset Shimmer take it?)

 

7. Cutie marks are like each person's own personal stamp (there's a different cutie mark on every skirt) that marks his or her special talent.

 

8. The cutie mark crusaders' club will be called something like the Special Talent Supers?

Would be awesome... close to Trollestia. I highly doubt that that will happen.

 

Now my thoughts:

 

I think Celestia doesn't know anything about the human world. I mean even if the mirror was there all the time, in "The Chrystal Empire" it sounded like she actually never really knew it. She just went there to banish Sombra for the first time and then it disappeared. Maybe the whole trip of Twilight and her friends there is because of the Equestria Games? Or some kind of diplomatic/obligatory reception, royalty stuff... you know what I mean.

 

Brainstorming:

 

1. Sunset Shimmer was kicked out of the school for gifted unicorns and actually wants to take revenge on Celestia and needs the crown for that. (no idea why)

 

2. It may not be "canon" like in "actually mentioned in season four", but I think some new characters will be seen then as well. 

 

3. (This one's "meta") We will see Zecora and Gilda as Background humans, what will make me rage even more about Spike the dog...

 

...

 

...

 

...Wait...

 

What if Spike turns into a dog...

A ) ...because there is a curse or something? I know it could still be the ponies = humans and non-ponies =/= humans, but the CMC are young teenagers, or something, and... argh, forget it! Makes me sad to think about it that way...

B ) ...(this is even worse in my opinion) to either prevent adult-minor-relationship-claims about Sparity or to turn down Sparity once and for all...

 

But wait: Maybe it is a tricky move to actually save Sparity by avoiding such things. It is not perfectly executed (many solutions could have been better, depends on whose idea it was anyway) but there is still hope...

im not sure if anyone has pointed this out before but i cant help but notice that Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle are two ways of saying the same name.
