Perhaps we could start it up again, just using the past 2 as, and I don't mean this in a bad way, what NOT to do.

Also, Aquila is just about ready, and anything Aegis could say probably wouldn't be worthy of another post. Once Slicer and Metal Gear get on board, you can take off. Also, I'd like to ask how we're going to handle the multi-ship situation. Will we be communicating between ships, will we be leaving our ships behind (this could be problematic for me), or something else entirely? Also, how will Slicer, Metal, and Storm get to their ships?

You know, that could probably work. Aegis only really needs a communicator to talk with everyone else, so he's still available. I would note however that my ship's ability to cloak can make for some tactical flexibility when in certain situations.

I would. That sounds like a good idea. It'll be fun to explore sci-fi without all the explosions and hostile aliens and such.

I don't tend to join freeforms on account of them being incredibly dull unless it has enough players. The ability to go anywhere and do anything is great on paper, but in practice it normally leads to little interaction between characters and will eventually reach a point where you're just drifting until someone comes along and tries to make something of a storyline.

I've been waiting for Melon, myself. Anything I could say wouldn't advance character development at this point, so I'm stuck until the plot advances. That, and I have a feeling RPing a Coalition fleet responding to Aquila's call would disrupt the RP.

 

Also, have I missed an FTL jump and not noticed it? Because I seem to be the only one alarmed that there is a Changeling fleet bumbling about in Equus, the absolute center of Coalition space.

 

UPDATE: I apologize, however I shall be backing out of Celestial Conquest. I have too many RPs on my plate as it is, and this one has been going particularly slowly. Thank you all for such an interesting experience, and I hope we can play in the future some day.
