Rephrase that into "Sega pushed them self into the failure pit, Sony put a lid on it and Microsoft saw it was pointless to do anything about it".

Sega actually managed to push itself out of business. They had a series of terrible ideas named 32x, sega CD and Saturn. After that they released a CD based console without copy protection. Sony merely helped by announcing the PS2 just shortly after the dreamcast. Notice that sega is not yet out of business, just not as big a name as it has been.

IMO Nintendo is stuck with an outdated marketing scheme and trying to bring inventions in that are irrelevant. They keep on going with the slightly outdated but more stable hardware choice, but instead of making gaming cheap and accessible they make unnecessary stuff to try to set themselves apart. The 3DS is a great example, you don't need the overpriced 3D and the 2DS sucks. Instead of selling a decent gaming console with stable and solid games they add a pointless feature that most people do not use. That is a way to waste millions for users and developers. The wii u is another example, the tab was pointless and still is. It just adds too little to make it a reasonable addition, instead they could have focused on bringing back the people who loved the traditional gaming and that loved systems like the GameCube for its stability, durability and excellent control. Instead you get a weird DS like experience. But that's just my 2 cents.

Yes. Adoptables are pretty much the trading cards of the Internet. You collect them and 'have' them. I don't think it has to do with the MLP hype. Considering there is stuff dated back to 2007 on that site. Hahahaha. The cat/dragon ponies are always awesome! XP

Storm stood at the counter waiting for the waiter. It seemed like Blazing just stood there drowning in his own awkward silence. Storm was impressed, it was the kind of place she would have never dreamed of to stay. She suddenly noticed he was waiting for her. I guess it's ladies first , so she started walking into the dimly lit restaurant. Waiting for him at the counter where the waiter would assign them to their table.

"Ok, let's go then" she answered excitedly. She liked the new Blazing, he seemed so full of energy and happiness now. Like he was competing for a price, she felt somehow proud for discovering the stallion behind the sorrowful facade. She let him guide her throught the paved streets in the center of Paris and took in the pretty views of the small shops and fine restaurants. "So, Blazing, what do you do for a living? I can't guess it from your cutie mark" she said smiling.
