Derpy sketch. With color!

Hello everyone! After much procrastination, I finally finished my Derpy sketch a few days ago. I also had a delay because I though she was finished, and was going to upload, but then I realized I didn't draw her tail.

 

I had gone out and got some colored pencils so I can color my sketches from now on. Though I think I should of gotten a larger pack with more variety because I only had three grays to choose from when coloring Derpy. Oh well. I did what I could with what I had.

I didn't draw her whole body because I have this habit of drawing bigger than I want to. I did derp her eyes because they weren't derped in the picture. I also added her cutie mark in the background to add a little touch to the pic. Also, if she looks a little darker around her mouth, it's because I started with the wrong color. I think I am going to get a bigger pack of colored pencils next time so I have a greater variety of colors.

Good job. Good job. Her body seems a bit too fat but besides that it seems pretty good. One of the better Derpy drawings I have seen. I would probably give it a 7/10

I think the body looks that way because the picture was drawn a little large, thus cutting off most of her legs. If I had drawn her full body, she probably wouldn't of looked as fat. Of course, by the time I realized this, she was already colored , and I couldn't do anything about it.
