Where did we get the name Queen Chrysalis from?

I've watched that final many times and not once heard them say her name. Is it a fan name? Or was it on something?

if you look at the trading cards, and the credits, (i have the trading card) it says right there, queen chrysalis, i believe even on the website thats what her name is.

It was never stated in show, but shortly after the episode aired, the show's writers or developers confirmed that her name was Queen Chrysalis in the script. The official non-show sources (the website, trading cards, et cetera) have gone on to name her Chrysalis in suit.

That name came from the devs being clever (and the trading card market). The name Chrysalis is the word for the metamorphic caterpillar pod during their transformation. Super clever.

I'd guess it has something to do with crystals, because she attacks the crystal kingdom. However, that's probably not right, and it could be the caterpillar thing.

As was already said, her name was in the credits and the trading card. Although I wonder why her name was never said in the show. It puzzles me. What would happen the next time the main six see her? What would they say? They don't know her name. Chryssi just acknowledged that she was the queen of the changelings and that was it. I think she should have at least said her name.

I heard of Chrysalis in biology, but I just can't remember what was it.

Changelings come from Irish mythology, but they don't look like that, they look something like slender man.
