I gotta say, that opening was worth the wait.

I'd have posted by now, but I have a problem posting first in a response to any RP, don't ask me why.

If it's all the same to you, I might well be developing this character as we go along. 

I know that's...kind of the point of the RP, but I feel my character at the minute is bare bones and brittle structures, i'll give her more of a personality than has been applied thus far and i'll flesh her out quite a bit, on a separate track from the main character development story.

I was all like, "I AM GOING TO ACHIEVE MY DESTIINNNNY." And then I remembered it was a roleplay. So I'm not sure if I'm incredibly satisfied because that was a great way to open or disappointed because it is a roleplay and not something serious. XD

 

Anyways, Silas won't be too much, I don't think, because otherwise people will probably complain. I'll try to keep him under control, and it'll be fun to monitor his change, even if nice characters are boring.

Oh my gosh all that flavour and attention to detail, truly we have an awesome group of authors here!

 

It looks as though we only have Starshine still to post, though Ocean's character hasn't woken up yet either.

 

For the time being I'm going to hang back while people run their introductions and deal with the immediate. First batch of PM's will be headed out soon though (squeee )

Ocean, is there something wrong? Both your responces in the RP so far have seemed almost evasive, deliberately avoid engagement where ever posible and even going as far as to knock out your character twice. Interaction is a key part of any RP, even if you want to be found 'uncounsious' you haven't provided much for the other players to work with and seem to be skipping ahead in the time line. If there is a specific problem, Please tell me if there's anything I can do to help.

It's pretty standard RP'ing rules not to take control of someone elses character, much less without their permission.

I'm sorry Ocean, but rule two clearly states no god-modding; the control of another player's character without their express permission. Doubly so due to the free roaming nature of the game.

 

From the look of things you're fairly new to RP.  It might be worth expanding your skills and polishing your character interaction in less a serious game first before joining one as indepth as this.    For now though, I’m going to have to ask you to remove your last post.

It looks as though that might be well be the case Star  Ocean has been online this morning and has neither removed the post or responded to the OOC.   Could all player's please continue as though Ocean's last post dose not exist.  Thankyou.

 

As for items (given that this is a magical world where the word paranoia was accidental removed from the GM's brain and young girls are allowed within ten feet of the cockpit) I can't see a problem with either of those.   Good intro btw!

That ruin would only goes big bang boom if there is any fuel left, but since there is no visible fire around us, I will have to assume that the fuel is already gone

 

But then again, I think that exploding plane would be the least of our worries. I foresee dragons

There was fire in my start post (I think?) and there's fire around...well Fire Sky and...I think InvisiblePinkUnicorn? Can't remember if it's those two or not

IIRC most of an airplane's fuel is stored in the wings.  We don't know exactly what the MaguffinSphere did to the aircraft, but I'm picturing a crash scenario fairly similar to what happened in Lost.  Some of the survivors ending up outside of the aircraft entirely, a few inside pieces of wreckage, but no big kaboomy explosions.  No one has mentioned the wings, so they could have been sheared off by the MaguffinSphere, or ended up elsewhere when the airplane came apart.  Fires on board could be from fried electronics, hydraulic fluid, or something else like that, so we don't necessarily have to have a huge explosion, but Katarzhyna will be trying to get everyone clear just in case.

Just those under the heading are being directly affected by events.  Whilst others may experience the same by proxy, they are not actually in 'the line of fire' so to speak.  

 

Slight edit has taken place too, opening the opportunity for hiding or escape.  The beast has not yet sighted you, but it is suspicious.

Are Silas and Morgan in the same piece of wreckage with Katarzhyna and Emily?  I got the impression that they were near a different piece of wreckage, since Shanashie's initial description of Cerberus @Mentioned at your characters sounded like they were seeing a moving shadow from a distance, and I don't recall seeing anything in your previous posts indicating that they are in the same location.  If they are, let me know, and I'll go back and edit my posts.

Emily and Katarzhyna are in the rear part of the plane...I thought Silas was outside with Morgan...I don't think they're in the same place.
Plus Emily only whispered that and due to the rain and fire it would be almost impossible to hear...so...
