'Griffin?' Emerald thought as she caught sight of feathers nearby, far too many to be a pegasus pony.

 

'Very interesting. What's a Griffin doing here?'

 

She fixed her eyes on Sole as he approached the bar looking... Really bored.

 

Given the absence of anything else to do herself, she waved a hoof to get his attention: at the very least he might have something interesting to talk about.

Synangel walked back inside, and headed to the bar. She decided a drink wouldn't kill her. She needed something to keep her busy. She walked up to the bartender "a apple cider please" she asked nicely and quietly. Once the white Pegasus got her drink she sat down in a nearby table near emeralds.

After walking around for what felt like hours to Aarod, but was only a few minutes, he headed back into the hotel. Buck it, I'm getting a drink and that's final. He walked into the bar, noticing there were quite a bit more ponies around now and ordered some hard apple cider. When he turned around he noticed the mare he had been talking to when he first arrived. Don't do it stallion, just stay where you are or go find another table. You don't want to run her off her something. This time he just stood there, not realizing he was just standing there.

Sole noticed emerald as he walked in and simply nodded, walking to her table and sitting across from her quietly *could she be an assassin?* he thought to himself warily, before smiling "sup... Ya want something?" He asked curiously. ((He is very paranoid about being attacked due to his past.))

"Sorry?" Emerald said, a little taken aback. She motioned to the seat beside her. "You looked bored, I thought you might want to sit here. It's fine though, if your busy."

 

She took a sip of her colourful drink, still not quite sure what it was. She knew how to act around ponies: not so much around a griffin.

Stone turned around and saw the same stallion from before, she jumped when she didn't notice him. She then took a deep breathe and sighed, she smiled and gave him a friendly hug. "Hey" she said. She was a little tipsy due to her drink being a little strong, and her being a light weight.

Sole sighed and sat down across from her, ordering the strongest drink they had. He could tell she was confused by his behavior, and seemed uncomfortable "hey hey, calm down. I'm not busy, just a little bored... Wish something interesting would happen." He said boredly, before downing his whole drink in one go.

Aarod, who had been lost in his mind, suddenly jumped back to himself when he felt the mare hug him. "Oh... Hey." He said. He also smiled, returning the hug. "Well it's a little bit sooner than I expected but I guess we did see each other again." You idiot stallion, be careful, you don't want to seem like, like, heck you don't even know. Shut up brain. He mentally argued with himself withing the span of a second. With another smile he pointed to a table and said, "Perhaps we should go and have a seat."

(Wait I'm not reading this wrong, that was to me right, oh crap did I mess up...)

"Looks like we might have something in common there then." Emerald said, swirling the remainder of the drink around the bottom of the glass with her magic.

 

'Was there even any alcohol in that...?' she wondered.

 

"I mean, I came to relax, I get it, but there's such a thing as being too relaxing."

 

She offered a hoof to him.

 

"I'm Emerald."

Synangel nodded her head and sat down at the table. She put her drink down and looked down at the drink with a look of confusion. She didn't know what to say to the stallion. Or if he was 'worthy' of her trust. Trust to her was a big thing, and if you earn it, then that's a rare happening.

Sole looked at her hoof for a moment, before shaking it hesitantly "names sole." He said calmly *i'd better not get poisoned again...* he thought to himself, before ordering annother drink and downing it quickly "and I didn't come here to relax, I came here cuz I heard it was fun." He said boredly "looks like the rumors were wrong..."

Pink Mist decided to put her dream stallion daydream aside and head over to the bar. Apparently that was where everypony was headed right then. Maybe she would bump into another cute stallion, or meet some more friends. After a little drink at the bar, she would retire to her room to turn in early. Lots of exploring to do tommorrow. She hoped some stallion would invite her to a drink so she could chat with somepony.

Aarod smiled as he took his seat, taking a sip of his own drink. As much as he tried not to, he studied her, not as much as some ponies might, just a little bit. He didn't notice much, just the way she looked down at her drink, and his thoughts wandered to wondering what she was thinking. After a few moments of this, he realized they were both being silent. "Um, so what are you drinking?" He asked, deciding to start with something simple and not overly personal.

"So, uh, Sole." She said, not really bored anymore but more than a little uncomfortable, not in the least by the speed at which he put away alcohol. "Did you come on the boat? I didn't see you."

 

Come on feathers, you might have more fun if you looked away from your glass for two minutes. Emeralds mind wanted her to say, instead however, she settled for carefully setting the glass down on the table and glancing around the bar again.

"Oh, apple cider with some rum mixed in" she said. Her light blue mane got in her face, and she then brushed it back exposing her eyes. Her eyes where sky blue, and a golden rim around her pupil. She took a sip of her cider, and placed it down. "W-what about yours?" She asked.

Darkshift's mind was in bliss thinking about the adventures he could have the next day until he was like awoken by a relapse in his thought and he couldn't get back into his trail of thought so he improvised.Noticing the rest of the bar was filling up with ponies he decided to ask "Anypony want a free drink?"He called not expecting a response.

"Oh me." Pink Mist approached the colt who offered the free drink. She hadn't been expecting a response to her internal hopes so soon. He seemed nice, maybe she could chat with him a while and get to know him. This was a REALLY good day so far, she was making a ton of new friends.

I'm assuming they put some alcohol in it, because if they didn't, that sure is a little cheap." He then noticed her eyes. "Oh... um, by the way, your eyes are very beautiful." He took another sip of his drink before setting it down and leaning back a little bit, much more relaxed now.

Pink Mist took the time to look around the bar. She saw all of the ponies from the ship, both her friends and the ones she didn't know. She even saw a griffin. A griffin, this ought to be interesting. Since she had traveled all over Equestria she had seen some griffins, and all of them had a pretty bad temper. If somebody got them mad, WATCH OUT! She was kind of nervous about what would happen if he got too tipsy, but she wouldn't worry about that now. They were interesting to talk to sometimes, so maybe she would talk to this guy later. She observed the pegasus who had offered the free drink. He had a black coat with a red stripe running down all the way to his tail, and he had red eyes. Wait, red eyes? She hadn't seen many ponies with such a strange eye color. It was really nice to be able to hang out with one. Now this was certainly an adventure.

Sole quickly downed annother glass, unaffected by the drink. "Nah, I flew here, it's much better that way." He said calmly, trying his best to pay attention to the conversation *sooooo bored.* he thought. "Well I guess ill go check in now, might as well stay a few nights." He said as he stood up.

"Yeah,you" Darkshift answered the mare in a nice manner"So,what drink do you want?"Darkshift politely asked with a nice smile on his face.He was hopeful to create a conversation with the young mare.He wasn't as tired now that he had someone to have a conversation with.

"Hmm maybe some apple cider. I really drink just on special occasions, but this is a special occasion. A relaxing vacation. Unless, there`s another drink you would recommend." She batted her eyelashes a bit, at an attempt at flirting. It was a start but you never know. By the end of this vacation she may leave with the very special somepony she's always dreamt about. She would just try to see which colt on this island is the best for her.

"Alright." Emerald said, a little relieved. "See you around." 

'Well that was... I need another drink. Wish I knew more about them, knew what was a little stronger.'

 

Standing and approaching the bar again, she looked over the bottles without really knowing what she was looking at.

 

"Uh, surprise me. Something strong." She eventually told the pony behind the bar. Settling down again, she went back to pony watching.

 

'... This drink is green. And luminous.' She shrugged to herself and tasted it - Extremely sweet with a vaguely chemical aftertaste that almost made her gag. 'Well, I did ask.'

Synangel blushed and turned away. She kept both of her hooves under the table to hide her scars. But she loved the compliment "t-thanks..." She said all red. She turned around and took another sip of her drink. It tasted very good, she was starting to feel more tipsy now. Edited July 2, 2013 by synangel

Sole yawned after checked in at the front desk "man... This place is so boring I'm beginning to fall asleep!" He mumbled, before sighing and flying toward hi room, but he quickly stopped. "I guess I could walk around a bit more..." He reasoned, as he began to explore again.
