Acoustic Cloud 2,202 July 2, 2013 Share July 2, 2013 (edited) Well, I was sketching up a new pony and I didn't know what to do for a color pallet. But I looked at him closer and he reminded me of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes (best comic) So I used Calvin's Sunday comic colors for a pallet. So here he is... I imagine his cutie mark would be an explosion or something equally mischievous. For those of you that like sketches to work off of: I don't care if you use the sketchy version Edited July 2, 2013 by Rainbow Dashey
Sunny Fox 5,961 July 2, 2013 Share July 2, 2013 Nice idea. I'm also a fan of Calvin and Hobbes. Here's a cutie mark suggestion: a bowl of noodles. You should know the reason for that. 1 Happy minion of The Fabulous One! Orablanco Account 3,708 July 2, 2013 Share July 2, 2013 Nice idea. I'm also a fan of Calvin and Hobbes. Here's a cutie mark suggestion: a bowl of noodles. You should know the reason for that. NO ONE CAN PROVE THAT HE DID THAT. Anyway, yeah, Calvin and Hobbes is the best thing ever. It's even better when you read it from an older perspective. 1 Onwards to my DeviantArt page! Princess Periwinkle 3,777 July 2, 2013 Share July 2, 2013 Yay! Calvin and Hobbes is one of my favorite comics of all time. Nice idea. I'm also a fan of Calvin and Hobbes. Here's a cutie mark suggestion: a bowl of noodles. You should know the reason for that. "How was school today?" "I don't wanna talk about it." "Would it have anything to do with all the sirens I heard around noon?" "I SAID I don't want to talk about it!" (Paraphrased because ain't nobody got time to go look it up)
Silverwisp the Bard 2,354 July 2, 2013 Share July 2, 2013 Never quite warmed up to fleshcoloured ponies, looks shaved to me. Solid work, though he looks a bit old to be Calvin and the positioning of the hindlegs makes it looks like he's stretching... My Art Thread, updated (almost) daily Tomorrow will take us away, far from home No one will ever know our names But the bard songs will remain.
