cause maybe shinning armor is on how many episodes?

cause the show has show princes are a joke (see prince charming).

Maybe cause shinning armor is a trophy husband?  he's there to look pretty?

You have  the wrong idea of what I ment, Shinning Armor (a prince) is Her brother if he didn't get merried to Cadance then she might've never became a princesss.. well maybe as an princess of an element though...

I think everyone was just a little surprised it happened so early in the series. It was pretty obvious from the start, and they hinted at it a few times too. I wasn't happy about how early it happened, but we'll have to wait and see how it turns out.
