She turned to face the new comers

@,

"Hello, My name is Icy. A pleasure to met you what is your name? Orion could be a evil scientist though" she said bowing to the mare. -She seems nice enough I suppose- She smiled at the mare.

@,

She noticed Scribe wasn't even trying to look at her.

"Hi Scribe" She said looking away from him

@

"Well We can just walk around for a bit, or we can go to someplace fancy, I know someone that can get us in anywhere for free, but we'll need to be dress for it" She turned to the other ponies.

@@Snowy Storm,

"Hiya! My name's Nuclear Neurotic! I'm from Manehattan!" Nuclear replied, grinning widely at Icy. "Where you guys planning on going?" the inquisitive gray unicorn asked, actually interested in what was going on. "Oh! By the way, was that you in that flying thing??"

"Nuclear, What an interesting name"

"Yes, I was the one flying. Sorry I almost hit you, I was a little reckless. Manehattan you say? I've been there before I didn't really enjoy it much, but I did love the food from a small place I found there once"

"I am from the Everfree Forest myself"

"Heheheehe~ It's fine! It was the first interesting and exciting thing to happen since I got here!" she replied, waving her hoof to dismiss the apology.

"Oooh~" Nuclear's eyes widened in interest. "I've heard of that place from my parents! They say it's really scary sometimes if you go there during the night!"

She grinned. "Is it actually scary or is that just told to freak little ponies out?"

@,

"I don't remember much from that place I was young when I lived there" Icy placed her hoof to her face.

"I remember my mother and how she used to fight against timberwolves and manicores using her magic. I learned most of my fighting magic from her. I miss her"

Icy seemed to be lost in her memories and sad

'Crap, I guess I shouldn't have asked about Everfree...' she thought before attempting to smile in a comforting way.

"Sounds nice..Fighting magic?" she asked, her ears pricking up in interest.

"You can use fighting magic? That sounds really cool!" She clapped her hooves in glee. "I can make explosions and do radiation magic!"

@@Alex Kennedy,

Spark laughed.

"Painfully. Nopony has even paused in front of the shop all day. I would close up and head out on the town, but that would feel like giving up." She said, and laughed again.

Why am I in such a good mood? I haven't really laughed in a long time, and I just laughed twice. Maybe my sleep cycle was better last night or something of the sorts...? I just feel like today is going to be a good day for me.

@,

Nuclear's smile before changing topics made Icy a little upset. -What kind of pony smiles after clearly bring up a painful memory-

Icy let it go. No point in holding it against her.

"radiation?" Icy took a step back from this mare. being mutated wasn't on her list of things to do today.

"So what bring you here to Baltimare?"

@@Snowy Storm,

Nuclear noticed Icy stepping back and laughed. "Oh, no need to worry though! I haven't had a need to use it on anypony else, if that's what is bothering you."

She sighed, her face losing a bit of its brightness. "Just felt like getting away from home." Nuclear attempted to smile again. "Baltimare wasn't too far but still far enough to get away for a while."

Emerald chuckled. "Well, at least you've got one customer. Of course, I have no idea what I'd actually buy here. I don't think I can really afford a flying robot servant. Anyway, are you sure you don't want to go out on the town? I want to explore the city more, and I'd prefer to have some company."

@@Alex Kennedy,

Spark thought for a moment.

"If you hang around here for a tiddle bit, when I close for lunch we could head out. I don't know where we'd go, but the thought's there. I actually don't even know the city that well, I've never bothered to explore. Never really had the need to."

((That might be the most awesome thing I've heard all day. It has a very nice ring to it.))

Flint nodded. "Well, I certainly don't have anywhere I need to go anytime soon, and right now you're the only person I know in the whole city, so I think I'd probably hang around here for a while even if we weren't going somewhere afterwards. Anyway, I'm sure we'll find somewhere interesting to go. I have a knack for finding interesting stuff."

Sensing a slight tension, Scribe tried to intervene. He knew better than to let small issues grow out of hoof, though he wasn't particularly good at avoiding it.

"So!" He said loudly, still trying to avoid looking in the general direction of Icy. "I guess thats our mystery solved! Not quite the adventure I had expected, but interesting nonetheless." He chuckled nervously.

"What's everyones plans now? Were we interrupting?"

'Celestia, If we can avoid any kind of explosions or freezing that would be really great...'

Never quite forgotten.

Orion found the encounter between the two mares was quite...interesting. However like with Cinderscribe, he kind of wanted to head off.

"Mystery huh? You really need more of my shop Scribes...I thought you'd be used to me by now." Orion laughed. "But anyways! It's been a fun day so far! I don't see any reason for it not to get better! Icy, didn't you mention a fancy restaurant that we could head down to?"

"Yeah the restaurant. We just have to go and I'll take to the owner. He knows me" Icy wanted to leave and ignore Scribe already.

"Well I would think so. You travel, after all. How could you do anything interesting if you can't find it?" Spark said, and chuckled lightly.

"So, while we're waiting for something that might not happen, how about we occupy our time with a game? I've heard of this one called 'truth or dare', though I'm not sure how it's played."

@,

Emerald shrugged. "Why not? I do enjoy a good game of truth or dare. But I'm surprised you've never played it before. I mean, it's a pretty common game, especially among fillies and young mares. Anyway, the game is pretty simple. Each player, on their turn, has to pick 'truth' or 'dare'. If they pick truth, the other players choose a question to ask them which they must then answer truthfully. If they pick dare, they have to perform whatever the other players challenge them to do. I guess I'll go first. I pick truth."

"I think I get it. So, how many mares have you been with?" She asked.

More likely than not, many. Why did I ask that? There was no hesitation in my mind... curious. I never would've thought that would hold interest to me. I wonder what I'll choose on my turn...

Orion seemed excited to go with this mare to whatever fancy restaurant she had in mind. In fact, Orion had never really had the opportunity to go to any restaurant above a 3 star rating. He was getting a little worried on whether he could even afford to get it.

"Icy, as much as I would love to, I don't think I have enough bits to get in with you. Would the owner be fine with that?" Orion asked, a little nervous.

@@Snowy Storm,

Nuclear lowered her head, biting her lip. "Oh...Sorry then..." she replied.

'Okay so...don't ask personal things then...?' The mare thought, scratching the pavement with her hoof. "I didn't mean to seem rude...I mean if I did..." She looked down.

Sometimes Nuclear wasn't very good at interpreting social situations and occasionally made a social faux pas or two.
