Okay, so bear with me, this is the first thing I've ever attempted with the curve tool, let alone with paint itself.

All I can say is, 

Hay, I tried.

Well, while drawn in paint of curve tool, it's a great first attempt.

 

You got the general face and mane of rainbow dash correct, and the cutie mark looks identical as well.

 

Since it's your first attempt, I'll give no criticism, well done. A good first try.

Maybe the next thing I try will be,,, better. 

Heh, oh well no major failures on my part at least.

Looks pretty good overall. I like how it looks being just outlined, dunno why but it does .

 

However I must say that I think the nose might be a bit big. It curves up and stuff a bit much it looks like.

 

I'm not sure if the face needs to be rounder, might be, just not sure.

 

But other then that it looks pretty good overall.

Well done on a first attempt.  Much better than I would be able to do thats for sure.   For the lettering I'd probly try using the Text tool  then just rotating it.   Comic sans MS   would probly give you the look you want.

Hey, not bad, really, I mean that with all sincerity!  While the text could certainly use some work, the outline of the head and cutie mark look really lovely.  Keep at it RosemaryPetal, and I have no doubt you'll only keep improving.  Hope to see more from you soon!
