"Bruchellia? where In equestria is that? ive never heard of it" she said, looking at him quizzically. "but if it involves stopping this madness, I'm in" she said firmly, looking at Zeta. "how do you feel about going on an adventure? Its too bad you wont get much time to relax but we could use your sharpshooting"

His head cocked to one side for a moment, cocking back to look toward his rolled up gun. "I'm not exactly a sharpshooter, but if it's to protect you then i'll join in. You have my word that I will make sure everypony comes back without turning into a trotter."

Grand heard the knock and opened the door. "You idiot! What on earth made you think going anywhere alone was a good idea?" Gradn said immediately. "Your lucky you didnt get yourself killed! And how on earth did you manage to burn yourself like that?" she said, looking at the burns. her eyes finally made their way to Josh. her expression immediately changed. "Josh! oh my goodness, your alright! Im so happy to see you!" she said, pulling him in for a hug, "I cant believe it!We are all together again. how fantastic" she said, smile on her face

josh laughed as grand gave out to stephen for a few seconds until she finally saw josh standing behind him "of course im alright did you think a trotter was gonna kill me? and if i died who would make sure he was safe when he went out and did silly things"josh said pointing at stephen and then embraced grand in a hug "so evryone is here? amazing that after eight years we all find each other again"he mused to himself

"Now that everypony is here, we need to talk, i'm sorry, Ghost, you're needed." Fire Horn said.

Everyone is in a conference room at the castle.

"Right, well, first things first, we need to go to the far off land of Bruchellia, it's going to be very dangerous. There might be more than just trotters out there." Fire Horn said.

 

(I gotta dash to school, see y'all later.)

Stephan just smirked. "Heh, what can I say? I die hard. Me and Josh went to Dragonshy to dispose of the sword. Once we did, it kind of... erupted." Stephan began walking to the castle. "Well, what are we waiting for? Time for more!" Stephan decided that he would catch up with Zeta later, as he walked to the castle, ignoring the burns.

 

-transition to the castle-

 

Stephan sat at the conference table, hearing the mission objective.

 "Bruchellia? I've never heard of such a place." Stephan noted. "Doesn't sound like a place in Equestria."

"That's because it isn't in Equestria, it's the far-off land of the zebras, we're being allowed access to the armory, only the royal guard are able to access it, i got clearence from Princess Luna herself." Fire Horn replied.

Grand looked at the others around the table. "perhaps we should do some training before we go. I dont have much skill with weaponry, or any sort of defence for that matter" she said, a look of concern on her face. "If I dont learn how to do something i'll just be slowing everyone down."

Josh,s eyes darted around the room around the room and he kept shifting in his seat "if you want me to come along with the group i will but if i am not needed i will take my leave as soon as i can" He ensured his rucksack was still strapped to his back and looked around the room again still not at ease with his surroundings

In the back of everypony was a lonely Zeta once more, though he listened carefully to the conversation they were all having. The land of zebras would be difficult to run through without any weapons so having the armory unlocked to them is a very good choice. The thing about it was, it seemed like the group was getting noticed more from Luna, and bringing in Zeta just helped it out a good bit.\

His attention focused upon Josh on the first thing he said. "I'll guarantee you, you're most needed on this trip from your ability to work on others injuries."

josh stood up "okay ill come i have all the materials i need without the armory"he emphasized his old katana that he had gotten years ago before the group split up "does anyone have a problem with me waiting back in everfree? i dont feel comfprtable staying in canterlot for to long" josh asked as he started to back very slowly towards the door of the room they were in

"We're going to need a bit of training with weapons, well, Grand is anyway, but we'll meet you in Everfree, we've got to get a boat our of Equestria, but prepare yourself, once we leave, we can't go back." Fire Horn said, turning to face the group, follow me to the armory guys." Fire Horn left down a small passageway into a training room.

josh smiled when he heard that he was free to leave "ill meet everyone soon then stephen should know where to find me" Upon leaving the room and entering the streets of canterlot he crept along backstreets avoiding the populated areas of canterlot. when he was near the edge of canterlot and thinking himself safe he rounded a corner and his eyes widened in shock and fear when he walked into a pony from a long but not forgotten past. panicking he bit a smoke pellet and ran back into canterlot towards what he hoped was the meeting room

while flying over canterlot heading to a meeting for a contract stained steel seen a puff of smoke and a rather evil loking pony running out of it, being cuirous he dove for the ony and laned beside but ahead of hiim and triped the pony " whats the rush" stained steel said with a hard edge to his voice

josh still panicked stared at the pony who had just landed in front of him. he looked behind him hoping the other pony hadnt followed him "the rush is that i have to hide" he pushed past and looked around again then sighed "im sorry i just need to hide from someone a bad someone. you wouldnt know your way around this place wpuld you?"

"well i do know my way around  canterlot sorry about stoping you like that, if you want to hide you should follow me, i know the best places to hide in canterlot by the way i need to know your name" stained steel said as he started to take flight but keeping his eyes on the pony

Stephan walked into the training room. The room felt bigger than any other room in the castle. It felt like any other training room, though. Dummies, automatic training machines, the works.

Stephan walked to Grand and handed her one of his electric rods. "I'll teach you to use my weapon. Once I do, you may use it." Stephan gestured. "That is, if you want to."

Fire Horn picked up a staff, it was the kind that was pre-enchanted with a fireball spell or a lightning spell, though it still required a unicorn user. He put it down and decided to try a different weapon. Katanas, that might be better, he levitated the two and started slashing away, they were light comfortable to hold, not too heavy.

 

"We leave later today, get your gear ready." Fire Horn said as he found a set of light armor to equip.

 

(The armor is comparable to modern combat gear. There's no helmet though.)

"ill explain it once i get back to my friends. thanks you for hiding me i appreciate it but how do i know to trust you" Josh went inside and took his hood down exposing his snake like eyes and four horns atop his head he then ensured his katana was there in case there was any trouble

Zeta took to the armory behind Fire, soon entering the huge area and took a look around. Maybe a little ammo here, another combat knife since his old one melted, and.. What was this?
From the looks of it, there was a silencer and a high power barrel for his sniper. So without any hesitation, he grabbed both and stuck them into his saddlebag, along with a few more clips of ammo.

"You know what, just in case.."

There was a line of sidearms in one section of the armory. Zeta quickly looked around and picked the biggest revolver he could find, which shot a 45-70 Government bullet. He knew what the gun could do, since he had almost broken his arm the last time he used it. But that was around 15 years ago when his father had one, plus he built up so much mass within that time so Zeta was fairly confident about it.

" if I wanted to hurt u I would have just done a dive bomb and killed u with my knife or thrown dagger at you and I wouldn't have helped you stained steel said " do u want to sharpen that" he asked while looking at the katana that josh had knowing that if josh was fighting it would need to be as sharp as possible

josh sighed "i aint killed that easlily and no this thing is falling apart but if i get back to the castle i can replace it. shame though this thing has gotten me through a lot" he smiled at the blade. "you seem like an able fighter steel i think we could use you for something if you will take me to the castle a friend of mine can explain"
