"In all honesty, we may have you covered." Zeta replied, taking the opportunity for a future time to feel Stephan's skin. "If you stay huddled in the middle of our group while we're sleeping, you may just be warm enough to stay alive IF we trek across the northlands."

"Ah yes, i'm assuming that's the reason you wear clothes, to keep warm?" Missy asked. "It's fascinating, it's not very often i get to study a new culture, especially first-hand." Missy thought of something to ask. "Tell me, are there any situations in which it's appropriate not to wear clothes? I'm curious."

"Yes, ummm..." Stephan hesitated. "They're situations that you don't need to know. Let's just say they're kind of... well, gross. If we humans were normally seen without clothes, it'd probably be weird." Stephan said, trying to avoid the question. There were some things he was comfortable talking about, but he wouldn't talk about EVERYTHING.

Missy got the message, remembering what happened between Fire and herself and decided to change the subject. "What do you humans eat? Judging by the shape and placement of your teeth i'd say you were an omnivore, you don't eat ponies in your world. Do you?"

"Well, no. At least, I didn't. Me and my family were vegetarians, which means we didn't eat animals." Stephan admitted. "But, I'll admit, some of us ate other animals, like pigs, chickens, and cows." He confessed. "But we're not cruel to animals. Some people on Earth are like Applejack; they're farmers. They breed certain animals like sheep and ponies, like you guys." He hoped Missy wouldn't take that offensively. He didn't want her to think the humans were some kind of animal-eating monsters.

"But to eat an animal, you kill it, even if you eat it when it's dead it's still cruel, i don't think i'd like to meet your kind." Missy said to Stephan, hoping that didn't make him think she disliked him. "I wouldn't even dream of doing that to another living creature."

Zeta was surprised from Grand randomly putting a hoof around him, but he did vouch to carry her up whenever so he just smiled and agreed. "Yes, this mountain does suck but soon we will get to where we need to go. Then from there we can take a nice rest and find this Celestia forsaken cure..~"

" you may not have a problem with it, but you have all four limbs" she pointed out with a smirk. "Perhaps we should keep the fighting for tomorrow if you don't mind though" she said tiredly. This mountain was doing a toll on her, so she decided to do the rest of the walk in silence

As always, the group was having their time together; the only one thing that Ink Drop was avoiding ever since a 'certain' event that occurred to him. Steel was up above, scouting the perimeter, Fire Horn and the rest were on the ground below. Sticking to the cliffs was a habit of Ink Drop when it came to terrains such as this. One thing that he was worried about was the presence of the Hajoons' torches. Those cannibalistic nomads could jump out at any time and any where. 

Ink Drop eyes then aimed to one particular pile of bones -- or Midden for short -- it definitely gave him an idea. Since he would never use any weapons other than his survival knife, the only choice of defense was a trap or one simple proximity alarm. "Bones, one rope of bones." he took one long vine from a tree and then knotted every hollow bones that he could find in that pile. One thing about the Hajoons, they were always curious about something, well, what would you expect, they are a primitive tribe that could evolve at anytime in the future. Tied one end of the vine to a rock formation and the other one to a rock across it. "And done!" he said excitedly.

Stephan's legs were about to give out. In an effort to keep up with the others, he fell to all fours and used to small rocks sticking out of the mountain to pull himself up. He continued to drink water from his canteen.

He turned around to Ink Drop. "What's up, Ink... what's done?" He said, huffing and puffing.

Ink Drop poked his head out and said to Stephan, "Nothing... nothing, just something to keep the zebras occupied, if they managed to catch up in the end." He turned around to give some further adjustments, he said to himself while he inspected the makeshift bone trap once more, "Some music oughta do the trick" Ink Drop tapped several bones and it produced a harmonic tone of a D minor, C, and a B minor notes.

The trap did provide a little bit of safety but Ink Drop was still hesitant which it made him to ask Steel whom was scouting the perimeter, "Uh, Steel... can you see any sign of movement from there?" Before Steel could answer, Ink Drop muttered quietly between his teeth, "Please don't say yes..." pleading for such a thing.
