Starburst looked over at Stephan, he was alone, looking rather depressed, holding a piece of paper and a thing. Starburst debated whether he should go and find out what was wrong, why he looked so sad.

"Stephan, why are you sitting in the corner alone?" Starburst asked. "I'm sorry if i'm crossing some sort of line by asking."

Stephan looked up from his paper and saw Starburst. "Hey, Starburst. I'm just writing a letter to my family back on Earth." He said, continuing to write. "Hopefully Celestia and Luna can send the letter to my father's house on Earth." He said with a sight, remembering the good times he had with his dad as a young boy.

Hearth looks at the unwelcoming sight around him. He quickly yanks the bayonet off of his rifle, drops it. He fires the rifle into the dirt nearby, the muzzle cap allowing it to fire near silent. "Ain't loaded anymore. A sign of trust. Ah just wanted to find out what y'all are doin' out 'ere." He looks at the pony's hoof and shook it. "My name is Hearthsong mah dearest. How 'bout yer name?" He asks still leaning on his de-fanged rifle.

"Well, i hope your parents love you just as much as mine do, if it might make you feel better, you could tell me about your life on "Earth"." Starburst said. "I know how hard it can be when you're separated from your family, i stayed in Trottingham for near to a year or more before you guys came and took me away."

Steel was appeased for now" sort if I sacred you I just know how some ponies can be and I don't tend to trust others" steel said with a smile while he sheathed his daggers

Stephan continued to write his letter. "Well, Starburst, let me tell you a little bit about Earth; Earth is much like Equestria in many ways. We have big, open lands like you have here. The places you can go there were simply breathtaking. Cities, landmarks, oceans, so many places to go. My life on Earth... well, I thought that I had it made." He said in a happy tone. "I had everything a guy could ask for; a loving family, a nice house, an easy-going school, it was all smooth-sailing. My dad, however. Man, the guy was great. He was always there for me whenever I needed him. We would help each other out through the worst times in our lives." He gave a small sigh. "I just wish I could see him one more time..."

"You'll see them again, i can tell you that much." Starburst told Stephan. "When this is all over, let me tell you something, even if a spell doesn't exist to get you home, i could write one, how do you think spells work anyways, they don't just happen, they have to be learned. Anyway, i won't keep you any longer from your letter." Starburst walked over to Missy and sat down.

Suddenly, a vision came to him, the Hajoons, they were getting closer it seemed, a spear aimed at Stephan.

When he came out of the vision he had to act quickly, it would hit Stephan if nothing was done. Starburst, got up and jumped, the spear hit him in the side and he fell to the ground.

 

(He's not dead, just injured.)

Grand went to greet the new pony but heard a spear fly towards the camp. She looked at Starburst, who had the spear firmly in his side. "Stephan!" She screamed, bolting to where he is, instinctively taking a plant from her bag, crumbling it up, and feeding it to him. A painkiller. She didnt want to touch the spear in case she did more damage. She was unsure of the anatomy of an alicorn

Stephan nodded and continued writing the letter.

Dear Father,

Dad... I'm so sorry for vanishing like that all of those years ago. I hope everyone is doing alright on Earth. I just wanted to write to you to let you know that I'm alive and well. I'm in a far off place where I've been living a life of adventure and excitement for all of these years. Don't worry about me. I'll be okay and be sure to write to you as often as I can in the future.

I'm so sorry.

He put the letter in his satchel and he saw a spear go through Starburst. He then looked to see the Hajoon. "Hey! Not cool!" He said, running up to the hajoon. He began punting the skulls of the zebras' heads in.

Hearth hears the shout and replaces the bayonet on his musket, and begins to reload it. He uncorks the powder bag with his mouth. "Fuffin fing shakes forever t' load." He holds his weapon at the ready, he sniffs the air and watches to the assailant. He straps the gun to his back for mobility. "Raincheck on the friend making."

Steel saw the assailant it was a group of zebras 15 if he counted right, steel grabed his dagger and let his anger go te dagger took Olin it's red aura an his eyes went solid black" I'll kill you, you won't be eating anythin tonight" steel screamed in a demonic voice as he dive-bombed the zebras and killed two he took flight again so they couldn't stab him he took out five throwing stars and threw them he killed two and injured one

Missy immediately got to his side as well as Grand.
"Grand, go and look for that plant i told you about, it grows rarely in mountain ranges, but quickly, or he'll bleed out and die, Missy pulled the spear out and covered the wound with her hooves until Grand could help stop the bleeding.

"hey guys the zebras are this was" steel said in his demonic voice while dive-bombing again and killing two he took flight leaving nine zebras steel hoped to kill them all and leave no survivors this time, he was tired of dealing with them already ((one that's all I needed))

Heart looks toward the zebras and pulls up his musket. He headshots one, and wings another. "Yer turn t' run." He says charging at the zebras with his bayonet forward, prepared to cut down the nearest hostile within striking distance. "Who's next on mah list?" He asks spinning the gun.

Stephan was busy wailing on the zebras attacking the group, His speed helped made and impact with his punts, as three zebras lied on the ground with cracked open skulls. He then picked one up by the neck and looked him in the eye. "Being human has it's advantages." He said with a grin. He punched the zebra in the cranium and knocked him out in one blow.

Grand looked at her, terrified of the pressure being put on her. "I-I don't know if I can" she said, but knew this wasn't the time. She took a deep breath and ran off, her eyes trained on the forest ground. Plants stuck out to her. Healing burns for that one, stress reliever us that one. She ran further down the mountain, looking for one. She saw a glimpse of the unique color on an isolated outcropping of the mountain. Nearly impossible to reach. She could teleport, but the ledge was too narrow, she wasn't accurate enough. "Why a. I not surprised" she huffed. She unstrapped her leg, which would only get stuck in the deep crevices running up the mountain. She hobbled over. Beginning to climb, slowly but steadily

In the midst of all the crisis, Zeta didn't panic and immediately put his armor on once more and pulled out his revolver. They were there again, as he shot one clean through the chest which instantly killed it.

"Damnit, when will these little pests go away?" He said, punching one directly in the face and then shooting it.

"The crystals are one-use, he used it to heal you and it's gone now." Missy sobbed. "Somepony help me, please..." Missy was now crying uncontrollably as she tried to stop the bleeding. "Stephan, see if Grand has found anything, if not...."
Fire Horn bucked a zebra in the muzzle while teeth flew into another's face.

Grand slowly hoisted herself up, finally reaching the ledge, which was barelywide enough to sit on. She carefully picked the flower and placed it in her saddlebag. Suddenly a figure darted out, grabbing her mechanical leg, and disappeared deep into the trees. "We'll isn't that just wonderful" she groaned, teleporting herself down. She began slowly hobbling back to camp, not used to moving without her support.

"I'll check it out" steel said his anger was gone now h took flight and and found grand hobbling back to camp "where is your other robot leg grand" steel said as his eyes slowly shifted back but his eyes looked dark gray he matched pace with grand and watird for a reply

" just take my saddlebag, I'll get there eventually, don't worry about me. The flower starburst needs is in there so be careful" she said, handing him the bag. " trust me, I can manage. it will just take me a smidge longer is all" she smiled, hobbling along, still a ways away from the camp

"Nice one, Fire!" Stephan shouted. He kicked a zebra in the chest sending him to the ground. He pinned him down and wailed on his face to point where there were literally no teeth in his mouth. "I think it's okay, Missy. Steel has it covered!" He got off of the unconscious zebra and looked down from the mountain at Grand. He smiled for her. "I told you your time would come." He spoke aloud.

"Here Missy the flower is in the bag grand list her mecanical leg I guess she said she would be here in a few" steel saunas he sat down the bag " is there anything I can do to help I'm not good but I'll do what I can he saved my life now I'm going to save his" step said with determination in his voice
