 The group ventured into the cave even more. "Sheesh. This cave seems like it goes on for an eternity." Stephan sort of moaned. "How far do you insist we're going, Missy?" He asked.

"We'll I didn't bring any spinach with me so we'll have to make do. I think I have some dandelions somewhere, and I could flavor it with some dill. We can have some soup, I think that's all we can really make" she said, giving zeta the medicine. " this should warm you up" she smiled as she hobbled over to the fire, where she set up another hollowed rock. She put in some snow, with some dill, parsley, and thick dandelions, which she happened to grab alot of

Ink Drop neared Stephan and shook his head rather unnoticed, "No... no... just, don't... don't" he whispered to Stephan, given that Ink Drop prefer not to ask to much question that was related to any recent event.

"Well!" he clapped his hooves, "Where to..." Ink Drop then soon stopped in the middle of his tracks, he just remembered remembered something. Something related to that unnatural crystalline rock stalactite. "Fire crystallized rock... she can't possibly be here..." he whispered but since his attention was too cool Missy off, "Well, as I was saying, let's have some bit of adventure, this cave should be safe enough."

Hearth pulled up a jug cap and placed it on top of the hollowed out rock full of ingredients. "Gotta put a cap on the pot, or else some of the the water will evaporate. All we'd be left with is warm water and veggies." He says chuckling as he rummages through the food jug. "Gotta have somthin' in here." Hearth heard Fire Horn and tossed him the bayonet from his rifle. "Go nuts."

"Thank you a mighty lot Grand." He replied while drinking the medicine with no signs of bad taste. "At times, you can be such a kind pony."

Just after drinking, Zeta started to tear up some, wiping them away as fast as he could but they kept rolling down. He was starting to cry without knowing it too well, and probably started to attract some attention.

That was the only way he could reply, instead of using a highly scientific term, he pretended to by rather less that he used to be, "No; honestly, it's cool, crystalline rock caused by immediate heating but no cooling." yet... he could not help but to spill it out

Stephan felt like he was going through one of those dungeons in a video game. As they walked along the path, the walls just remained the same texture; bleak, lifeless stone. He hoped that the trio would see something different soon. The light showing where the group was began to dim behind them as they kept going further and further.

Grand was rummaging through her bag for ingredients when her hoof brushed a dagger. " hey here's on fi-" she cut herself off before she could finish. This was the dagger that she drove through starbursts skull. "Never mind, it was nothing" she said, stuffing the dagger deeper into her bag. Her ears perked up at zeta. "Are you alright?"

"It would seem i'm the only one capable of performing magic or flying." Missy said, casting a light spell to renew their light supply. "So, what brings a famous writer like yourself out into the wastelands?" Missy turned to Ink. "I mean, no offense but you look like you would be afraid to get dirty hooves."

Hearthsongs ears twitched as well, as he turned around to see Zeta crying. "Well, what's the matter friend?" He asks, hopeful to calm down the distraught pony. 'Somethin's troubling everypony here, maybe I should try and find out everybodys stories. I shouldn't poke into their personal things though.'

Zeta didn't want to attract much attention, but he couldn't hold it in much longer and broke down in cold tears. The thought of not seeing Paint for 8 years straight finally had hit him, causing a fairly harsh blow to the face.

But even so, he just couldn't stop crying and for a 40 year old man, it is near heart shattering to hear.

"Whyy!! Wh-h-h-hy..!"

He smirked, and somehow realized that that is how some writer tend to be, "No, actually I love getting my hooves dirty if it comes to story authenticity, I've been here once and it was one hell of a experience. And I've also been to the Shrine, well... not in to the Shrine directly; only observing closely from the outside." he shared a bit of his past moments the last he had been to Bruchellia. "The first time I've met the Hajoons too, and surprisingly they still remember me and hold a grudge over me... who knew?" he chuckled adding a slight bit of humor in his sentence.

He simply crouched down near Zeta an wrapped a hoof around his shoulder, trying to show him that he had ponies to turn to whenever he needed it. 'Hold with strength, for it finds us all.' He thought. 'Hold with strength...'

Stephan just walked beside the ponies as they talked. "This isn't getting us anywhere." Stephan took out his flashlight from a knapsack. he shined it directly in front of the group only to find a rock wall in their path. "Well, great..." He then saw a switch on the wall that looked centuries old. An old pull switch. "A passage?"

The cries of pain echoed throughout the cave walls, but he barely made out the words to the lullaby and started to calm down a little. Not by much though, but it still was enough to listen to all the words of the song.

Hearth finally decided to let some of his stress out, shifting away from his cheery self. "This shit is bucked up. Everything that's happened, just doesn't add up... How could Celestia and Luna let this happen." He said swirling the soup around in the make-shift bowl. "Ah'm just tired ya know? Of everything."

By the time she was done, Zeta was merely down to a whimper but still had some tears to shed. On occasion he would mumble some of the tune with Grand and then continue on. And being the fact that it was so soothing to him, he almost dozed off a few times until the song ended.

Steel sat at the enrance to the cave letting the cold wind hit his face- it seems that these ponies do not want me around anymore or at the very least Missy dosnt, of course she wouldn't she didn't se what I did I could tell she wouldn't actually kill her self and my knife hit right where I aimed so I will let her be- steel thought. but soon his mind wondered to te past back to a time when he was actually happy nut he stopes himself" no steel you can't think about the past only te here and now" he said to himself

After several minutes of walking and talking with Missy and Stephan through this seemingly endless cave, Ink Drop stopped and turned his head around and saw that they had picked up quite the distance from the main camp site, "Maybe, we should turn back and join the rest of the group." he suggested and he heard the sound of a switch flicking; in reflex, he turned around and saw Stephan with a flashlight in his hand looking at something. Stephan's lips was speaking out, "A passage." which made Ink Drop a bit curious and decided to find out what it was, "What are you looking at, Stephan?" he asked with his head tilted ten degrees from the 'Y' axis.

"Well, only one way to find out." Missy pulled the switch out, turned it and pushed it back in. Sudden;y, the whole cavern began to shake, as if something was moving underneath them, a stone door slid out of the way and in it's place a passageway leading into a room. What Missy saw in that room was horrifying, the skeletons of six humans.

"Oh no." Missy said, running over to the table which they all sat around.

"Oh my... incredible. The legends are true. Humans DID reside here!" Stephan approached the six skeletons in curiosity. "Not only that, but they must've made tombs on this island in ancient times, as well. These are like the Great Pyramids on Earth!" He exclaimed. "Still, who were these people? It seemed as if they were in some sort of meeting of ritual before they died."
