Grand looked at Zeta and smiled. "Oh, just doing some shopping is all" She said, still fidgeting with her mane every now and then.

 

Caramel smiled. "What do I feel? hmm... love, happiness,romance" She said, listing them. "Every good feeling in the book. And I dont mind, maybe we should wait a while to move somewhere alse anyways. we're still pretty young"

Zeta giggled and hugged Grand. "You want me to come with you? I got nothing better to do, maybe except be with you of course. Besides, I would be able to technically call you my girlfriend, would I?" He said while walking with her, then pushed down a hair on Grand's mane to its rightful spot.

Steel decided that he should leave before he got spotted "I'll be back tonight Missy" steel said then he walked out, add he walked he kept trying to think of a way to fix what he had done as he walked he bumped into firehorn "sorry didn't see you there "Steel said while altering his voice just in case zeta hadn't figured out who he was

"Yeah, it was a bit of a childish idea, a bit of a rash decision." Starburst sat on the bed next to her and held her hoof and looked deep into her eyes. He knew exactly what he felt when he looked at her. He then shifted over and began to kiss her, passionately.

Stephan grabbed both of Dash's front hooves and kissed her for about five seconds. "I'm just glad we can spend it together now." He said, placing his forehead against her's.

 

Light looked over to Fire. "Well, when they first met, they got to know each other well through racing each other. Eventually, they fell in love and started going out. However, they began arguing about which one of them was the fastest, a lot. Eventually, Stephan said that they should see other ponies. Yeah, it sounds silly, but they seemed naive at the time. I guess now that they're older, they want to give each other a second chance at love."

Grand smiled. "Yes, I suppose so. You can help me if You'd like, I'm just picking up a few groceries, nothing really all that fun" She said, shifting her saddlebags around

 

Caramel smiled and kissed him back, pulling him in tighter. She wrapped her hooves around his neck.

"I guess, the older you get, the more you just want to find somepony and settle down with them. It could be like Starburst and Caramel where it's love at first sight. But some ponies need time to get to know each other, to understand what they want." Fire said. "Wow, I'm getting old, passing out relationship advice."

 

Dash was caught off guard by the kiss. But enjoyed it nonetheless and kissed him back.

 

Starburst began kssing and pushing her back until he was on top of her. His wings feeling more tense than ever.

Light simply shrugged.

"I think Stephan will eventually need it. He has the courage of a stallion, but the mindset of a colt." He said, trying to sound smart.

 

Stephan felt as if a sonic rainboom happened inside of him when Dash kissed. It felt absolutely amazing. He was speechless for a moment, but he regained his composure after a moment's notice.

"Dash, have I ever told you how beautiful your magenta eyes look?" He asked her. "Just looking into them takes me away."

Zeta nodded. "I'd love to help you out Grand. Besides, I want to spend some private time with you, especially away from everypony else. Life's been a bit too public for me, and having nopony around when i'm alone just feels, empty. Anyway, what store are we going to first hon~?"

Dash smiled.

"No, you never did, and I don't think anypony has." Dash said, shivering a little., but she didn't want to move, the moment was perfect, and she wanted it to stay that way. "Has anyone ever told you.....that your mane looks funny?" Dash laughed a little while saying.

 Stephan played around with his blue, spiky mane for a moment.

"I don't know, Dash. I like the spiked doe. It think it works for a stallion such as me." He commented. "Or maybe that's just from all of the running I do." He said with a small laugh. He loved this time he was spending with Dash. It's as if her just being there took the thought of Grand out of his subconscious.

"Well, I won't be running or flying anywhere anytime soon, which I'm kinda disappointed about, but being isolated to the ground will be much more tolerable with you." Dash said. "Once I'm better, we should totally have a race, see if I've still got it." Dash smirked at her comment.

Steel walked and seen dash and Stephan sitting together happily, he sighed and his he dropped a few inches he kept walking and seen grand and zeta his head dropped lower and was almost touching the ground -there's nothing. Wouldn't give to have moonbeam back-steel thought as a silent tear fell fro his face

Stephan smirked at Dash.

"We'll see about that, Dashey." He said. "Besides, both of us have only won half of our races against each other. I think our speed would've grown over time." He said, moving his hooves in place on the ground so fast that they seemed to form a spiral. "And, on top of that, I've gotten stronger." He began to flex a little in front of Dash. He might've been fast, but he wasn't really a strong stallion. He noticed this and a small sweat drop came rolling down his face.

"Aww, you're so cute when you're trying to show off." Dash said trying to hold in laughter and then kissing him again. "I missed you, when you weren't visiting me, all I wanted was to see you." Dash rambled. "I've never felt that way about anypony before, especially one of my best friends."

I had wondered what would have happened if I haven't foolishly tried to exemplify my heroism that day. Would she still be alive? Would she even escape from this madness?

 

The question was answered in a flash; should I save the mare, risking my life, or abandon her? In that moment, I knew it has to be answered in another. It was not to be lightly considered, and without the slightest hesitation, I began to pull on the beam and her hoof.

 

She was in extreme pain, biting her hoof as I tried to yank the impaled hoof out of the beam, using my magic as assistance. Muffled and anguished shrieks can be heard from her, her teeth clenching, blood seeping out of her undamaged hoof. Her eyes became bloodshot, dilating, its pupils madly shaking around. 

 

Pulling her out of the impaling object was highly risky. Possibly the object may have went through her major blood arteries and veins, and taking it out will result in extreme blood loss. It was a matter of killing her or saving her. I didn't have any anesthesia around me, and in a near hopeless situation, I searched for an electrical cable and tied it tightly onto the mare's left hoof, creating a tourniquet. She was also attempting to keep the undead away, shooting at the approaching zombies from behind with her pistol, which she levitated. 

 

I considered cutting the beam off the painted wooden hoofrail. It would decrease the amount of blood loss. My plan was thwarted, however, when I noticed the length of the handle. It was two and a half feet long; that long a length would have even more leverage, further damaging and widening the wound. There was little choice. I slowly by steadily pulled the object out of her hoof, wincing in disgust as I saw the scene. 

 

Eventually, as I got near the tip of the beam, she could not resist the immense pain. She screamed until she ran out of breath, collapsing afterwards. I carefully removed the hoof from the beam, and used that hoof to carry her. 

 

Finding no way to escalate downward, I ran to the only place I could go; to the rooftop. I closed the door, shutting it. There I shouted, "Cold Front! Quickfix! Help us!" 

 

The two immediately recognized my voice. "Astro! You're back!" Quickfix returned. "Who's that pony over there?"

 

"A survivor!" I replied. "Help us!" 

 

I saw Cold Front's face turn grave. I knew the truth now. They could not help the survivor and me; they wouldn't . "No!" I cried. "No! It can't be like this!" 

 

The undead was pounding on the door. It would be mere minutes before the door broke. I looked down, my hooves shaking. I don't want to die here... I reassured myself. Forty feet below me was solid ground. I hesitated, hearing the groans of the revived. At the same time, there were dark figures flying to and fro. "Pega-trotters", I remembered how Silverspeed named them. 

 

This is all a game. All just to tempt me. I can still outsmart it.

 

I leaped, holding onto the mare, rocketing towards the ground. I could feel the wind going against my face, the ground approaching closer and closer. Twenty-five feet. Twenty. Fifteen. Before I hit the ground, I hit onto a large tree, cushioning my fall, until I directly dropped downed onto the grass. 

 

The world faded into black.

Starburst felt good, better than he did before, this time there would be no distractions, he felt something down below.

"Ummm, that's never happened before." Starburst said.

 

"Everypony will need somepony eventually, somepony to spend their lives with, I think Dash has found that somepony, but I'm not sure about Stephan." Fire said.

"I think so as well, Fire." Light said to him. "Stephan has been trying to get over Grand for quite awhile now. Maybe he just needs some time with Dash to take his mind of it."

 

Stephan laughed and sat back down next to Rainbow Dash. "Well, we've already dated once." He said. "I guess you could say it's love at second sight." He laughed at his own remark.

Grand checked her list. "Well caramel and starburst used up all my baking supplies, so we can stop at sugarcube corner and pick up some things there. It's a boring job but some ponies gotta do it" she said with a slight smile

 

Caramel smiled. "It's okay, I'm ready" she said, kissing him again passionately

Steel walked to the bar and as sunadd he walked in the bartender pulled out several bottles and handed them to steel "give me your oldest bottle of wine" steel said a he paid for his drinks steel loaded his bags and left he stopped by what used to be his house and began to dig for anything that wasn't destroyed

Grand checked her list. "Well caramel and starburst used up all my baking supplies, so we can stop at sugarcube corner and pick up some things there. It's a boring job but some ponies gotta do it" she said with a slight smile

 

Caramel smiled. "It's okay, I'm ready" she said, kissing him again passionately

"I wouldn't call it boring since right now i'm with you, but I understand what you mean." Zeta said giving a little laugh and continued walking. "Hey, just a thought. Whenever we get back home, do you want to drop off the groceries and spend a little time together? We haven't always had the chance to do that, since things like shopping has always gotten in the way."

 

Meanwhile, Moon was already at Caramel and Starburst's door. She had her ear pushed against it so she could hear everything, also having a hoof in a certain area of hers. "I cant wait for this..~"

After that, Caramel was now lying on top of him, they were both very tired.

"That was certainly interesting, alright." Starburst said. "I hate to sound cliché but how was that? For you I mean."

 

"Yeah, let's leave them to it, they're having a good time." Fire walked away, signalling Light to follow.

 

"Yeah, it's just....even after being a Wonderbolt, I always felt like there was something missing from my life." Dash felt silly for saying this. "But it was right in front of me all along."

After that, Caramel was now lying on top of him, they were both very tired.

"That was certainly interesting, alright." Starburst said. "I hate to sound cliché but how was that? For you I mean."

 

"Yeah, let's leave them to it, they're having a good time." Fire walked away, signalling Light to follow.

 

"Yeah, it's just....even after being a Wonderbolt, I always felt like there was something missing from my life." Dash felt silly for saying this. "But it was right in front of me all along."

After everything, there was a wet spot on the floor where Moon was before. She smiled, still listening to everything after that and decided to do something that might ruin their day.

So she opened the door and peeked in with one of those troll faces. "I bet for a first timer it was good~! Ahhaha!!" Then she closed it and ran out of the house, feeling happy as anything.

As steel dug he spotted a gold chain he picked it up and seen the crystal on the end had a faint glow"good it absorbed some of the magic, maybe I should try and give it to caramel again and explaine what it is" steel thought aloud as he put it on " starburst is still pissed at me so if he tries to kill me using magic then I'll be safe so long as I ware this" steel said as he left in search of caramel

Caramel smiled and leaned her head against his chest. "It was lovely Starburst" she said, giving him a kiss in the cheek before closing her eyes and cuddling up to him

 

Grand smiled. "Sure Zeta, that would be very nice. Now let's go see if the cakes have everything" she said before walking into sugarcube corner
