"Well.." Zeta started to ponder on the thoughts they could choose to get around this. There wasn't many answers, but still..

"Hey Grand, how much time do you think we have before it gets too dangerous?" He asked. "If you do a teleportation spell, it might make you too tired so you would have to get on me before doing it, just in case you ever faint."

"Well, i could try teleporting over there, it probably will work  due to me being so great at magic and all," Missy played with the bit of her mane hanging down to the right, She started charging a spell but instantly started feeling ill and keeled over.

"Well we always have Steel." Zeta replied back, looking at him to see if he was in the shape to carry everypony across. "Trust me on this, he'll get you to the other side safely instead of having to jump on the rocks over it. And it's also much more efficient then a teleportation spell, so that makes it better."

He heard as Missy fell over, and ran up to her afterward checking her pulse. "Oh damn, she's not doing well.. Somepony with medical help come over, Grand you too!"

Grand came running over, looking at Missy. "Whats wrong? is this another fit of morning sickness?" she said, looking at Missy and trying to examine what was wrong. "I dont think so... Missy, you have to explain to me what your feeling right now so I can try to help you, alright?" she said, taking out the plants from her saddlebag

"Don't worry, it happened when i had Starburst, either it's morning sickness or i'm going to be having another alicorn." Missy said, getting up slowly. "My doctor, Helpinghoof, told me that an alicorn birth is very rare, but it disrupts magic use, because all of an alicorn's in-born magical abilities come from it's parent."

Grand sighed. "well unless Steel has the strength to carry all of us over, we have to cross on the rocks" She said, looking across the chasm. The rocks looked very frail, but it seemed the only way. "You can still fly over, right Missy? you shouldnt be carrying anyone over if that little alicorn is taking up all your strength"

"I cloud carry all of you over two at a time I'm not sure about Stephan I think I could do it but I'm not sure" steel said as he laid down " but we should at least eat and drink first that way everypony will be ready for the last of the climb sound good to everypony"

"I can definitely fly, but i insist on carrying at least one of you over there. I don't want to take the risk of one of you guys dying because you fell and i couldn't fly to save you." Missy said. "Anyway, i'll be fine, don't worry about me." Missy started flapping her wings. "OK, which one of you am i carrying?"

"If anything, the two of you should get stephan over there. Theres no way these rocks will hold him. Focus on him, and the rest of us should be able to make it across" She said, looking at the pillars. She hoped she was right. "Just get Stephan over first, its the only way he will get across"

"Grand.." Zeta responded, a little worried about her jumping over the pillars. "If it's alright with you, I think it would be best to help you get across since you might slip and fall. Don't worry, we wont crumble under the weight since i'll make it quick and easy."

"Alrighty then, Grand." Missy said, flying over to Stephan, "You have to put your arms around both of us so we can carry you across, Stephan."

"Are you sure you can do this, Missy? You're not feeling very strong right now." Fire Horn protested.

"Don't worry, i'll be fine, really, just make sure everypony gets across alright." Missy said.

"I think we should eat and drink first while we can" steel said as he laid down "I don't know about you guys but I think Missy should not carry anypony over but herself i can handle the rear of I'm sure of it" steel said " I may not look like it but I can carry a lot of weight"

"Just because I'm a bit weaker than everyone else doesnt give me a free pass to get around this stuff. I am perfectly capable of doing this, in fact, I'll even go first" She said, her stubborness taking over again. She stood by the edge, took a deep breath, and jumped to the closest pillar. She landed on the first one safely, though small rocks tumbled down into the crevice. she couldnt hear them hit the ground

Steel rolled his eyes but laid there and pulled out his jug of water "have fun jumping across there" once step drank his water he grabbed zeta an fire horn an flew then over then in his way back he grabbed grand an put her down on the other side ignoring the fact that she clearly didn't want help

"Be careful, Grand, that pillar could've fallen." Fire Horn said, jumping onto a pillar right next to Grand's. "This is a bad idea, maybe we should turn back." Fire Horn was feeliing quite nervous, there was easily  about half a mile between them and the ground below.

"This is the only way we can get across. Steel cant fly all of us over, and Missy shouldnt be flying at all to begin with. We have been through blizzards, volcanic eruptions, super trotters, hot deserts, and cannibalistic natives. This is just the last part of out journey, Lets just get it over" She said, determined. She jumped to the next one, grabbing ont with her front hooves and hoisting the rest of herself up

Zeta settled over on the other side of the pillars, feeling worried as ever for Grand. He was scared, but still had hope that she would make it cross so he tried to avoid it from his mind.

"Alright Grand, you're making some good progress. I'm a little scared, i'll admit but please make it over.."

Grand stood herself up and took another deep breath. She wasnt too far now. She jumped to the next pillar and landed safely. "Im just a little bit away! Ive almost got it!" she said to herself. Suddenly the pillar began to shake, and before she could jump the pillar began to crumble. Grand shrieked as she began to fall

"GRAND!!" FIre shouted, quickly jumping from pillar to pillar as they collapsed beneath him. "You'll be fine, get up there now." Fire threw Grand over onto the other side and jumped for his life, because it was for his life. He grabbed the edge of the ledge, but he couldn't keep hold and started to slip.

Stephan looked down underneath him and didn't see a bottom to the pit. He was certain that if he were to fall, regardless if he landed on his feet or not, he'd meet certain doom. Stephan was a bit worried, but not too worried.

Stephan did exactly what Missy wanted him to do and was ready to go. "Are you sure, Missy?" He asked.

"NO" Grand screeched, jumping for firehorns hoof, grabbing it just as he let go. She had only one of his hooves in her grasp. "You arent leaving us like that now are you?" she said, grunting to try and pull him up, but she struggled to pull him over the ledge. 

"Come on wimp. You can do better than that"

"YOu couldnt have picked a worse time to show up"

"oh, But i would love to watch you let your friend plummet to their death"

And with that, Grand heaved Firehorn over the cliff, pulling him to safety

"Of course i'm sure, i can do this. Now, hold on tight, this is gonna get a bit rough, maybe." Missy started flapping her wings and pushing up the way, waiting for Steel to start as well.

 

"Thanks Grand, i thought i'd fall for sure, that was more than i'm used to." Fire Horn said, whilst panting.

Well that was fast. Grand was falling, then Fire was falling, and both ended up okay from the incident. Zeta almost had a heart attack, screaming for her when she had fallen but thank Celestia he was there.

This was probably one of the scariest moments in his life, and in trying to recap it, he overloaded his mind and fainted.

G-Grand, thank god you're alright..
