Missy and Fire walked into the room with Glint and put her in the crib.

"Here's a song your gran used to sing to me when I had to go to bed." Missy said. [click] "

After singing, Missy kissed Glint on the head as she fell asleep.

Stephan walked into the other room with Starburst and they sat across from each other.

"Now is probably not the best time to talk to you about this. In fact, your father told me not to talk to you about it until later, but I just want to get it out of the way." Stephan said, clearing his throat. "You remember how you killed me earlier, right? Well, I just want to tell you that it's water under the bridge as of now. I know you only wanted to protect Caramel and Sirius."

Starburst's ears fell flat at that and he looked away from Stephan.

"It's re-assuring to hear you say that, but.... I'm still worried, I showed a part of me that was dangerous, powerful enough to kill somepony, and I'm worried that, that I might get angry one time and hurt Caramel, or even worse, Glint....that's one of the reasons I thought I should split up with Caramel and leave." Starburst said, still looking away from Stephan.

Stephan turned Starburst's head back towards his.
"Then you must learn self control, my nephew." He told him. "Dread caused me to lose mine when I hurt Caramel and Sirius. If you can learn to control yourself, you won't hurt anypony you love." He said in an assuring tone.

"Thank you, Stephan. I guess it's just an alicorn thing, or ponies with lots of magic." Starburst said. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow, I'm sleeping on the couch." Starburst sat down on the couch and curled up.

 

Fire and Missy got into the bed.

"So, should we go to sleep? Or are you open to something more?" Missy asked, turning towards him.

"I was planning on sleeping, but..." Fire said, kissing Missy and rubbing her belly. "I'm alright with that."

Steel sat as the stallion rowed the boat after a short while steel arrived at a large door steel climbed out of the boat and the stallion left steel opened the door , he saw a large castle and many ponies and other creatures milling about he walked to the side of the die and laid down after all he had all of eternity to get to the ninth ring

"Oh, and your Aunt Dash wanted me to drop this off for you." Stephan laid Starburst's present from Rainbow Dash on the coffee table and began walking out. "Goodnight, Starburst." Stephan walked out of the room and trotted his way to the hospital. He wanted to make sure Dash knew that everything was okay.

Zeta followed Grand quietly into her room, giving a sweet smile and helped her into the bed. He tucked her in gently and kissed her forehead again. "You look so beautiful when you're tired Grand, have you ever noticed? Hmhm, anyways i'll be downstairs so have a nice rest..~"

 

Moon yawned a little, then rested in the couch she was in. Her stitches felt like nothing now, but she would look like a mini Frankenstein for a while. "Man if I could see myself in the mirror, i'd probably dig the look I have."

Grand smiled and snuggled into bed. "Good night Zeta" She said tiredly before closing her eyes and pulling up the covers.

 

Caramel watched the two leave before going into her room and hopping into bed. She hung up her cape and snuggled into bed sleepily

Starburst set the gift down next to the sofa and went to Caramel's room, he knocked first, he's not rude.

"Caramel? Are you awake?" He asked.

 

Dash was staring at the box of books Steel had given her.

"Better keep this away from Twilight, she'd have a field day, or more likely an egghead's day." Dash laughed at her own joke.

 

"Oooh, I like this." Missy said.

 

(They're doing it. Let's leave it at that. Unless....)

Starburst walked in and closed the door, then sat down by her bed.

"Well, he forgives me, first of all." Starburst began. "But it's not just that I killed him, it's that I got angry, and I couldn't control myself, what if I get angry one time and I hurt somepony else I love, you or even my sister." Starburst put his head in his hooves. "I can't get over it."

The mare at the desk let one more visitor in for the night. Stephan trotted upstairs and knocked on the door to Rainbow Dash's room.

"Dash? It's me, Stephan. Mind if I come in aughnd talk to you a little bit? I've been through a lot today." He said, a little tired.

Caramel put her hoof on his. "You wont. You wouldnt do that" She said warmly. "dont worry about it, its too late to be worrying" She said, yawning

 

Meanwhile, deep in hell, A young, rather attractive mare was walking around. "Oh, how lovely, another day with all of these idiots. Its a shame I cant kill them, Theyd just end up back here" She huffed. Suddenly she noticed an unfamiliar pony walking around and smirked.

"I just felt so angry at Stephan, how dare he hurt you and Sirius like that?" Starburst felt anger in him, but supressed it. "Anyway, there room on your floor tonight?" Starburst asked.

 

"Stephan. What are you doing here? It's very late." Dash said. "And I wasn't doing anything strange."

"Why would you sleep on the floor? theres plenty of room here, its a big ol bed" She said casually, lieing down. "Its a pretty comfy bed too, though it needs some less girly sheets. most of the furniture is the same stuff I had from when I was a filly" SHe said, pulling up the covers

"Thank you, Caramel." Starburst got into the bed, under the cover, he kissed her on the nose. "Good night." He closed his eyes and waited for sleep to find him.

 

When they were done, Missy was laying over Fire Horn, they were both asleep.

 

Somewhere in Tartarus, there were four horse gathered in a meeting.

Must be something pretty dastardly to be around this area" She said before tipping her hat. "You can call me Siren, its a pleasure to make your acquaintance" She said with a strange smile

Zeta walked out of the room quietly, going downstairs to see Moon on the couch and went over. "So what's been up? I haven't talked to you for a while you know?"

She giggled back and yawned once more, resting on the lap of him. "Nothing really. I've been craving more sex now since I cant, from this injury but it's being controlled. Anyway I was also thinking over.. Since I have working, parts, I was thinking of donating my reproductive stuffs to the doctor since i'm not gonna use it anymore. It's in good condition, eggs and all, but I just don't want to risk getting pregnant again."

"I understand what you mean." He nodded and slowly began to go through her hair. "You just want love, huh? I guess Siri is enough for you then~" But by then Moon was already gone and began snoring in his lap. "Yep, it is..~"

Light was hanging around with Steel when a white mare came up to the two.

"Nice to meet you, Siren. I'm Light Streak." He said, extending his hoof.

"Oooh, you are a bad boy arent you? " She looked at the stallion next to him. "You look pretty cheery, certainly not Tartarus material, Well, Who am I to judge the sins of others, Hmm? And my crimes? Well, I guess you could say I just love to put on a show. The best reactions you can get are shock and panic, thats what ive learned"

Recording 005. Had to do this during the night. Quarantine soldiers were asking me if anything out of the unusual happened today. Strangely enough, it wasn't the "leaked" - that's what they name for reanimated ponies that haven't been exterminated completely and still lurk the outside, though in small numbers; hence the name. We had a few issues of it getting into the town, though its usually suppressed.

 

It was about the possibility of a dark magic user. Somepony had managed to revive a dead body while remaining sentient. And of course, it was an assassin; they classified it only with the initials Z.Y. Heh. And I thought with the previous outbreak, ponies would be sick of necromancy.

We walked through the alleyways of the city; the two had lived here for quite some time, and therefore knew the shortcuts around Ridgeline.

 

The three of us proceeded without any problem, until Silverspeed suddenly stopped, and dragged me into a wall corner. "It's a pega-trotter," Archer observed.

 

"Like we mentioned before, they can't see much in front of them, but their ears are highly sensitive," Silverspeed said. "And you can't outrun a pega-trotter. Best way is to sneak through them. Don't make a sound."

 

She then slowly moved through the alleyway, and Archer and I then followed. I found it difficult to keep quiet. I slowed my breathing, and the sound of my heartbeat felt like it was getting louder and louder. I stared at the flying trotter screaming garbles noises that I could not understand, and randomly swooped around and around. I silently took out my machete, in the case where they detected us.

 

Every step felt like a step to death. I was thinking that something accidental was going to happen, and get us all killed. But it never came.

 

Soon the sky was turning red, and the sun was setting. The reanimated started to decrease and soon disappear, and we began to move more liberally. "The trotters are less active at night," Archer pointed out.

 

"Still might be out," Silverspeed said in a cautious manner. "Probably just waiting for us to make our mistake and drop our guard."

 

The buildings started to become less abundant, and we finally stopped at an isolated two story house - it was unlit - on the outskirts of the city. It was on a hill, where trees were more common than houses. "We can hit the hay here," Archer said, her face showing excitement and tiredness.

 

I moved toward the door, and knocked the door. "Anypony there? We need a place to sleep."

 

There was no reply. Silverspeed approached the door, and twisted the doorknob. The door opened with little resistance. "It's unlocked," Silverspeed said, entering the house.

 

"Don't shoot!" I added.

 

We searched the home, finding nopony. "The place is deserted," I muttered, taking what was left of the canned food off the shelves. I felt a small shiver on the back as I did that action.

 

"If you're going to steal," Silverspeed commented, "then do it. Nopony's going stop you, especially when the world is broken."

 

"Not that," I reply. "It is the fact that this used to be a place where ponies lived. To find it gone, along with the fact that they took almost nothing along...I think they might be one of them."

 

She put a hoof on me. "Hard times, Astro. It might as well be true; found some blood on the stairs, got me bumps on my hooves. We should probably get out of here tomorrow. Got a can opener?"

 

I merely shook my head, but I gave her the emergency pocket knife. "Good enough," she said.

 

"Hey, look!" Archer came running down the stairs, holding something. It was a gun, a revolver, really. (M1917 Revolver)

 

"Whoa!" Silverspeed jumped back as she saw it pointed straight forward. "Archer, watch where you point that!"

 

"Don't worry, sis!" Archer pointed it upward, at the ceiling, and showed her a box of bullet cartridges. "It's not loaded! But we sure hit the jackpot!"

 

"Still, be careful with that!" Silverspeed snapped as Archer one again sped off.

 

"Sure is an energetic pony, right?" I commented.

 

"Yeah. Can't believe she's still like this even during an apocalypse, and a real one, too," she replied.

 

We allowed a moment of silence before continuing our conversation. "What was is like, life before...this all happened?" I asked.

 

"Pretty normal," Silverspeed answered. "At least for me. Before my sis and I lived in Ponyville with my parents. Worked as a weather manager and archery professional, and I attempted to get into the Wonderbolts once, but I failed and another pegasus replaced me.

 

"My life pretty much sucked after that, and I got discharged from archery member service...so two years before, I moved here, to a less significant place, to show my talent and the fallen pony that was once so high in the sky. At least I have my sis to comfort me."

 

I looked up at the ceiling. "Life changes within a split second, doesn't it?"
