Missy started walking to the hospital, she didn't feel any kind of rush, the rain was light, but she still want to keep her coat and mane dry. Missy couldn't wait to see Glint again after the stressful events of the day. Moon would be a sight for sore eyes.

We were promptly escorted into the radio station by several ponies. At first I was relieved; we were saved by a larger, surviving group, as so we were going to live for yet another day. But that relief soon turned into shock as a pony came down the stairs. When he saw us, his face dropped to a fearful look, and quickly drew his gun as he saw Archer and I smeared and splattered by blood. The pistol was pointed right at my heart, and I froze in place.

 

"We can't just bring ponies here!" The stallion yelled. He was wearing white clothing – apparently, he was most likely one of the soldiers from the Royal Equestria Army.

 

"But Fifer, we can't let ponies die!" a mare from the group said.

 

"We don't know what those ponies are!" Fifer retorted. "They can be dangerous!"

 

"We're not dangerous!" Silverspeed interrupted. "We're just regular ponies!"

 

"What's dangerous is that these ponies are outside, drawing our attention to us!" Fifer replied. "And you, Fuselage! You're a Captain! You should know better than to go out there and endanger the group! And look; the noise you've created from your gunfire just attracted more of...them!"

 

"I'm not a Captain anymore, Fifer!" Fuselage retaliated. "And your not a Major anymore, either! All I know is that we should attempt to save as much ponies as we can!"

 

"She and sis are right!" Archer added. "We're just regular ponies, but we actually like helping others!"

 

Silverspeed bit her lip, and I closed my eyes. We both knew that was a lie – there was possibly a dying pony out there, but we didn't save him...or her.

 

"This isn't some rescue mission, Fuse!" Fifer argued. "This is survival! There are the undead walking right outside our doorstep, and we can't risk our own lives just to save some strangers! Don't you see what's going on?"

 

"But they have a filly!" another mare pointed out.

 

"Blueprint," Fifer said. "Do you think the undead cares? Do you think they will have mercy just because they have a defenseless little filly?"

 

"Hey!" Archer shouted. "I'm not defenseless! I can just as easily kill an undead like they're target practice on the archery ground!"

 

"Doesn't matter! We're in a war-zone!"

 

"Hey!" Silverspeed intercepted. "You, Fifer! It seems like you're the leader here. Only you have little control over your comrades. You're some ineffective le-"

 

"If you were in my shoes, stranger," Fifer said. "You would know how suffering it is to lead a group of survivors and disorganized soldiers." – the stallion then looked at Archer and I, and widened his eyes – "And they could be bit!"

 

"We're not bit!" I responded. "And Archer isn't either!"

 

Fifer sighed. "You better be telling the truth, both of you. Because if you're bit, first comes the blurred mind. Then comes the hallucinations. Then comes the blood vomiting. Then you lose everything that makes you a pony. But it doesn't end there. You come back. And that's how you turn into them."

 

"Okay, let's stop it at here!" the second mare intervened. "Things aren't going to automatically get better if we're here arguing! We're just going to waste our oxygen and attract more of these dead ponies!"

 

Fifer gritted his teeth. "Fine! But keep their distance! They could still be dangerous. One of you clean them up and check." He then bolted up the stairs.

 

The mare then introduced herself. "Sorry for the trouble. Name's Blueprint. Used to be a detective in the Heartland, then I'm told that I'm supposed to come here, then find it infested with them. Can't believe my terrible luck. But I was saved by Fifer here. Don't get too angry at him. He's been through a lot."

 

"And also needs to stop acting so paranoid," Silverspeed muttered. "Already hate the pony already."

 

"So the mare over there is Fuselage. She's the second in command here. This place is our temporary base, that is, if help comes our way." Blueprint said.

 

"And what if they don't come?" I questioned.

 

"Then we'll have to go. We have some guns, as well as food here, but we can't stay here forever, or we'll run out of ammunition and food. Not to mention this place isn't exactly a fortress. Eventually the undead are going to start to overwhelm us.

 

"If the option ever comes, all of us will have to leave Asphodel. Isn't too wise to stay in the city." Blueprint continued. "Though I would recommend you do some chores around the place and go to sleep. Best to keep your mind occupied so fear doesn't get in you."

 

"Well, it seems like we can rest here for a while," Silverspeed declared. "Unless the stallion tries to kick us out. Probably stock up on some weapons and food and stay for a few days before we leave for Ponyville."

 

"I won't exactly say we should keep our guard down, Silverspeed," I warned. "Probably want to help around barricading the place so more of these won't come in."

 

"Fence building," Silverspeed smirked. "I wonder what that's like."

"Well that's quite a price. I suppose if that's what you want then very well, but I do hope you know I could do the job just as easily. The job needs to be done now, tonight. I'll give you the money when the job is done" she said, putting her hat back on. " but I suggest you hurry, the victim is out there right now"

"I know" steel said "and i suppose we can talk more about the price after the job is done that is if you want"steel took a drink "well Ill see you in about fifteen help yourself to anything you want" steel saidnasnhe flew out if the window

Steel seen a lone pony walking in ,just as siren said, a large jaket he dove down and stabbed the pony three times in the side...

Missy was walking along humming a tune, when she heard a whooshing noise, getting louder and louder, she froze and her ears went flat.
Soon after she was on the ground, 3 stab wounds in the side, one of them had half-severed the muscles of her wing, one had hit randomly, the other went right through the wing and put a tear in it. She couldn't bring herself to move, she was losing a lot of blood.

Her hooves were twitching and she was whimpering.
 
(Now, go over and see who it is.)

Steel walked over and used ponies jacket to clean his blade when he heard whimpering so he walked around to the head "would you like me to finish you or would you rather-"steel stopped the Pony looked like Missy so removed the ponies hood and saw that it was in fact Missy

Missy didn't recognise the voice, she slowly opened her eyes and looked up at the figure hanging over her.

"Please.......don't let my son find out....." Missy's head fell to the ground and she fell unconcious, she would most likely be dead within the next 8-9 hours.

 

(Then, you get rid of her body, because Steel thinks she's dead and doesn't want anypony to find out.)

Siren walked over with a scowl. "You told me you could kill her. She's still alive, now dear, that was an easy job. But you failed, so now I might just have to kill you both" she said, pushing Steel up against the wall, "a trained assassin like yourself should feel ashamed of them self" (I have other plans)

($I assumed so )) steel was conflicted he had just killed a pony that came to save him -no steel don't think like that she came to save light-steel thought then siren showed up " she will bleed out and youtry and kill me and I won't hesitate to kill you" steel said as he shoved her off of him and puked was his dagger back out

"Oh, I have a better idea" she said. Suddenly Her horn began glowing and a stream of magic was sent into both Steel and Missy. Neither if them would remember that siren had anything to do with it. Siren smiled and smoke formed around her, until she disappeared. She reappeared in the next street over and smiled.

(By forgetting Siren, I mean you will remember making the deal, but you won't remember who it was you made the deal with)

Steel looked around and shrugged "now to hide the body"steel said as he took Missy's coat and dried up the blood that was on the ground after he finished he picked up Missy's body and flew do with into the everfree and buried her "rest in peace Missy"steel said then flew to his house to clean himself up

Missy woke up, she was buried, she had to get out, so she tried clawing her way through the dirt, eventually, she pulled herself out of the grave, (with extreme effort), she then attempted to get up and noticed her wing dangling off, so she took the shovel and a deep breath, and plunged the shovel through it, there was no way it could've been saved. She then collapsed next to the hole.

 

(This'll be some godmodding, well, depensing on what you consider god-modding.)

 

-8 and a half hours later-

 

Starburst and Caramel were at home, Starburst was worrying about Missy, he hadn't visited the hospital in case they were doing it, it had been almost 9 hours,.

"Shouold I go out and look for her? If she got attacked she could be out there bleeding to death right now." Starburst was pacing in Caramel's room.

"It is pretty late, maybe we should-" suddenly there was a knock at the door and Siren burst in looking panicked and scared. "You, you children! You know that alicorn miss, right? Well, I was walking along the edges if the forest, and, and she was there! She looked like she had been hurt terribly! We must hurry!"

 

Caramels eyes were wide, she looked at Starburst. "We have to hurry"

Without even thinking about it Starburst ran through the door, and flew towards the Everfree Forest. He didn't have time to wait for the strange pony to tell him where she was, he just started searching through the forest. Soon enough, he saw a dismembered wing that looked like Missy's then followed a trail of blood.

"MUM!" Starburst yelled as he darted over to her, she had been stabbed multiple times, saddlebags untouched so it couldn't have been bandits. He check her pulse, she wasn't breathing.

Caramel followed behind Siren as they ran. Siren spoke as they ran. "It was awful, I can't even fathom what would cause a pony to do such a thing" she said, her breaths quick

 

Caramel looked at her. "I don't know why anyone would do anything so terrible to Missy" as they arrived to where Starburst held Missy, Caramel gasped. "Are we too late?" She said, rushing over to Starburst

Steel had showered and cleaned his blade using rubbing alcohol so no trace of blood would ever be found,he then poured himself a glass of whiskey and downed it trying to forget the his guilt he had never felt guilty before, he drank some more hopeing it would go away

"NO! We can't be, she's not dead, she can't be. She just CAN'T BE!!" Starburst said, getting up and sending a surge of magic into Missy, trying to restart her heart. It wasn't working and he kept trying. Eventually, he felt a pulse.
"YES! Alright, I'm taking her to the hospital, Starburst was covered in blood, but he didn't care. He flew to the hospital.

 

Fire went to the waiting room of the hospital, he noticed Moon with Glint.
"Moon, do you have any idea where Missy is?" Fire asked. "Nopony has seen her since this morning."

"NO! We can't be, she's not dead, she can't be. She just CAN'T BE!!" Starburst said, getting up and sending a surge of magic into Missy, trying to restart her heart. It wasn't working and he kept trying. Eventually, he felt a pulse.

"YES! Alright, I'm taking her to the hospital, Starburst was covered in blood, but he didn't care. He flew to the hospital.

 

Fire went to Sirius' room to see Moon.

"Moon, do you have any idea where Missy is?" Fire asked. "Nopony has seen her since this morning."

Moon heard Fire and looked up. By then she was feeding a milk bottle to Glint, but she shook her head and lost her smile. "I'm becoming worried about Missy. She's been gone far too long not to see yours and her child, and I was expecting her to be here a long while ago."

Starburst crashed through the doors holding the unconcious but still alive Missy.

"SOMEPONY HELP ME!!!" Starburst yelled through tears.

Fire quickly ran over to her picking her up and putting her on a stretcher as she was taken to a closed off room to be operated on.

He went back over to Starburst and picked him up and hugged him.
"Everything's gonna be fine. Okay." Fire said, trying to reassure him. But what he had seen was awful, Missy had lost one of her wings, who would do something like that?

Siren and caramel followed behind starburst. Caramel hugged Starburst tightly. "She's going to be fine, I promise" she said in a soft voice

 

Siren walked over to Fire. "I'm very sorry about what happened to your wife, I was lucky to have been walking by, or else who knows what could have happened" she said in a very believable sympathetic voice

"Thank you, Caramel." Starburst looked to Fire. "I think we should get everypony here, she might not be alive for much longer.

"I appreciate it, whatever your name is." Fire said to her. "Twilight is going to be a mess if she hears about this."

 

In the OR, Missy had stopped breathing again and the doctors were trying to resuscitate her.

Siren smiled. "Well I couldn't let an innocent pony die. There was something else though... I saw a pony leave the forest, right before I found her. I couldn't identify him, but it was certainly a colt" she said quietly

 

Caramel nodded. "I'll go find Grand, I think she's back at the house" she said, giving starburst one more squeeze before letting go. "I'll be right back"

Zeta was in bed with Grand, under the covers too. He had one hoof around her, soothing her belly while his lips were gently nibbling on her ear. He hadn't fallen asleep yet, but wanted to keep Grand calm while she slept. "Darling, you're just the most precious pony I've ever seen. I wont give up on you having a healthy baby, and you know it..~"

Caramel ran quickly back to the house and opened the door. She ran up into her room. "Missy's in the hospital, she's not doing well, we have to get back" she said, flicking on the light

 

Grand woke up suddenly and sat up. "What? Missy's in the... Oh, no" she said, jumping our if bed, not bothering to fix her hair. "We need to go Zeta, quickly!"
