Light laughed a little.

"He's a loyal stallion, isn't he? Not humble, but loyal." He said. "He told me that when he first met you all, he went under the persona of "The Ghost." At first, it sounded like he had been reading too many comic books. It just seemed ridiculous for a stallion like him to hide himself from the rest of the world."

"I guess he wanted to be the savior of the wasteland. Be the hero that everypony needed, but certainly not the one it deserved." Fire said. "I guess he wore a mask, not to protect the people he cares about, but to be a figure of hope for the ponies of the land." Fire sighed.

Grand was still distracted. "Yes, that's all fine and good, but really, what's your definition of messy?" She asked curiously

 

Caramel smiled and sat up, but in the corner if her eye she noticed Sirius. She sighed and looked at Starburst. "We have a shadow" she said quietly, motioning subtlety to the door

"Great, now you're gonna have to have a conversation with her about personal boundaries, and sex, all in the same day." Starburst said. "I'm certainly not talking to her about it."

 

"Well, messy might be the wrong word, come on, I was trying to be a Ponyville citizen, most ponies from Ponyville don't wear their manes like that and it looked kind of out of control." Fire said, poking at Grand's mane, it had not changed one bit in the past 8 years.

"Oh, don't say such things, Fire. Stephan cared about you and the group very much." Light assured Fire. "As he continued his journey with all of you, he began to warm up to your lot. He even says that he sees you as his second family. He even told me that he wanted to take you all to Earth sometime. You know, as a family." He directed that to Grand, as well.

Grand put her hooves over her head. "What?! You don't like it? It's a classic updo, straight from Prance! Is it really that bad?" She said, turning to the nearest mirror and fiddling with it. "Is it outdated? I need to fix it!" She said, throwing a hat over it and running out the door to find the nearest hair salon

 

Caramel sighed. "Isn't that her mother job? She's only young, certainly too young for that talk"

"Yeah, Celestia knows she's a bit more experienced to be having the conversation anyway." Starburst levitated the door closed, blocking out Sirius. "Anyway, you don't have to wear that thing, you know that right?"

 

Fire was about to call after here.
"Well, shit, that'll teach me to comment on a mare's mane." Fire said.

"Heh. Mares." Light commented. "Personally, I didn't find anything wrong with her hair. It looked lovely for a mare like her. Seeing her without it would make her look... out of place to me." Light said. "But, anyways, would you like to see Earth, Fire? Stephan has spent a good chunk of his life here. Maybe you should see where he came from."

"Yeah, I guess I'll probably lose it if it stays on. I'll put it away for now" Caramel said, putting the ring on her side table carefully. "Its too pretty to lose"

 

Grand asked around for the nearest hair salon, but it seems one hasnt been built yet. She sighed and fumbled with her hair, taking out the pins holding it up. When her mane wasnt up, it was pretty curly. She just stared in a window at it. "It looks disastrous" She huffed, messing around with it for a while before giving up and leaving the loose curls as they were

"I'd love to see it, but it would be weird for me, because I've seen Stephan's human form, and frankly, I don't want to be like that." Fire said. "Anyway, I couldn't go through the portal and stay there for very long, you know that, right?"

 

"I think we should wait until after my mum is awake to get married." Starburst said and kissed her on the lips again, passionately, Just when his wings started feeling relaxed. *pomf*

"Again, look at Stephan. He's bared a pony form for a good chunk of his life now." Light reminded. "He fell into Equestria when he was just seventeen years old, and now he's thirty. The only times he's been a human again was when you guys were on that island and when he left for Earth and stayed there for a month. If you at least gave his home a chance, I bet it'd make him a happy stallion indeed."

Steel had drank all but one bottle of alcohol and passed out

Steel woke up and moonbeam was beside him he smiled and nuzzled her awake "good morning baby" steel said she looked at him and a smile came over her face "steel! " moonbeam yelled as she attacked him with a hug "your not supposed to be back yet" moonbeam kissed him

"I don't know, I'm fine with just my hooves and horn, it would be difficult to do anything without my magic, I'd be too used to being a unicorn." Fire said. "It'd be difficult to adjust to being a human after a life of being a pony, I'm sure the both of you know that well."

The dream faded and was replaced by another steel was packing his bags and thinking about his target "steel do you have to go, and why won't you tell me what you do on your trips? Your not cheating on me are" moonbeam asked on the verge of tears she knew steel wasn't cheating on her but she still asked

"yes moonbeam I have to go an I dont tell you to protect you and baby you should know by now that your the only mare for me" steel said as he kissed her for three minutes "I love you I'll be back soon" aland with that steel walked away

"no!" steel yelled as he woke up panting and covered in a cold sweat he broke down and cried...

"I can see where you're coming from, Fire, but when Stephan turned back into a human on the island, it took him a bit to readjust to being one, but he could do it." Light told him. "Besides, it'd only be for a few days, then you could come back here and use it again, y'know?"

Sirius got a little frustrated when Starburst closed the door on her, since she wasn't able to see anymore. "Darn.." She replied and silently teleported to under the bed. Occasionally she would look up from behind them and watch what they were doing, but would go back under to stay hidden.

 Stephan was running back to his house when a flash of memories came to him. It were things he always told Zeta, and he just went back on them.

"No mare will ever get in the way of friendship, Zeta."

"You're my pal, Zeta. Nothing's ever gonna change that."

But then, memories of what just happened returned.

"I have no chance with her now or ever again, and it's because of you!"

"You're going to spend ever waking second with her, and it's because she's just a distraction from Paint!"
The thoughts of awful words and broken promises tore Stephan apart even more. He didn't know whether to turn back and apologize, or just keep running. Because that's what he was good at; running away from his problems. He finally stopped dead in his tracks and turned around. He had to find Zeta.

Zeta was still on the bench where he previously was, near the breaking point of just crying out again. Those words stuck into his mind like Stephans and they wouldn't go away.

It was true he hogged Grand from him, instead of letting him have a chance at anything. It was really his fault, but nothing could change it now.

"Stephan looked kind  of frustrated when I left, do you think we should go find him?" Fire said, getting up off of the sofa. "He does have a way of doing impulsive things, better catch up to him now than later. Zeta's still in the park anyway." Fire opened to door. "You coming, Light?"

Light sighed and got up from his salad.

"See Fire, this is why I'm the genius and Stephan is the stallion of action. Let's go find him." Light said, leaving the house.
 

Stephan jetted back to the park in hopes of finding Zeta where he was. When he got there, he wasn't at the same bench. Stephan immediately became worried.

"Ugh! Why must I do these sort of things??" He asked himself. He then dashed forward and continued looking around town, shouting "Zeta??" Nearly every fifteen seconds.

Fire and Light ran out of the house, shutting the door behind them.

"Alright,  let;s go." Fire started running towards the park, he's not a very fit pony, so he ran out of breath quickly.

 

Starburst heard the door close.
"Alright, i believe everyone has left." Starburst said, kissing Caramel until she was lying on her back again.

There was little time for hesitation. Cold Front was the first to take immediate action; he grabbed his axe and ran to the highest floor. Quickfix and I followed him through the flight of stairs, and he kicked the door. He later fractured the wooden door with his axe when physical force was ineffectual.

 

A gunshot, staccato, rang out as we arrived on the flat ceiling. Cold Front looked left and right, attempting to track the sound. It was near impossible to trace the origin of the noises. We were previous inside a building, which masked some of the noise, as well as the fact that the city was nearly deserted; the resonance would misguide our sense of direction and location, therefore making it difficult to find.

 

A memory, at that moment, instantaneously appeared in my mind. Silverspeed once mentioned that the undead are attracted to sound... The answer hit her like a bullet; it was so obvious, so simple. "Check for any of the undead!" I commanded. "We'll have to follow them to find that pony!"

 

"There's some over there!" Quickfix declared, pointing at a group of undead – the others now classify them as "trotters", though I prefer to use the more formal term – with her pistol. With the undead group as guidance, following the pony was a much easier feat.

 

We jumped through a few buildings; acrophobia and thoughts of death raced through my mind as we passed through gaps. They were narrow, around five or six feet. I could easily leap through, though I began to perceive them almost as if they were ten, fifteen, twenty feet away.

 

Eventually the undead group came to a stop, and entered an open door into a larger housing complex. "He – or she – is probably inside there," Quickfix reminded, aiming with her pistol at the balcony.

 

"You're not going to hit anypony from that range, Quickfix," Cold Front informed. "Pistols don't shoot that far."

 

"I can probably get in there," I uncertainly volunteered. I needed to find a way to prove myself useful; this was an ideal opportunity. "You two can create a diversion as I enter the building."

 

"You're sure you can survive that?" Cold Front asked. I simply nodded, and jumped down to a lower elevated building rooftop. I then leaped onto the complex's emergency stairs, and went up each floor to search the rooms.

 

It appeared that the pony had also heard me, and there was another shout, "Help! Help me!"

 

The yelling became more frequent, and I went up the flight of stairs, entering the room and outside, into the hallway. There I saw a graphic sight near the staircase – a mare, her hoof impaled by a metal hoofrail beam. A hole could be seen above her; presumably the mare had fallen through. There was a puddle of scarlet red blood on the concrete ground, her hoof reddened. "Get this thing off of me!" she screamed.

 

I was horrified; I didn't know what to do. At the same time, I heard yet another noise, the lifeless moaning. "Just help me..." she cried. "I don't want to get bitten...I don't want to be one of them..."

Light laughed a little at Fire Horn's heavy breathing.

"C'mon, Fire, don't tell me you're tired already." He joked. Though, Light could fly, so he was certainly one to talk.

 

((OOC: Sirius, forget my last post to you. I completely misread the previous one))

Stephan ran back to the park where he saw a sobbing Zeta on the park bench. He felt like a cold, heartless jerk at that moment. He decided to sit down beside him, but he didn't say a single word.

Steel cries turned to whimpers after a while steel decided to go check on Missy...

Steel walked into Missy's room and sat down by her "iv heard that ponies could still hear while in a coma so I wanted to say I'm sorry Missy I didn't know it was you" steel said as he hung his head

Caramel looked at starburst. "Are you sure about that?" She said, using her magic to pick us Sirius from under the bed. "I figured you wouldn't give up that easily" she sighed

 

Grand had been fussing with her mane for a good hour by this point, with no progress. She grumbled a few obscenities and gave up, leaving her mane loose.
