Anyone else here play Kerbal Space Program? If you don't know what that is, basically it's a multi-genre game where the players create their own space program.

 

"In KSP (Kerbal Space Program), you must build a space-worthy craft, capable of flying its crew out into space, without killing them. At your disposal is a collection of parts, which must be assembled to create a functional ship. Each part has its own function and will affect the way a ship flies (or doesn't). So strap yourself in, and get ready to try some Rocket Science!"

Basically you launch into space with a sort-of realistic but not really physics engine, try to get into orbit, and build up a fleet for your space program. It's hilariously fun, challenging, and lots of landmarks to see to keep you playing for hundreds of hours in this open sandbox.

 

There is a limited demo version, but I highly recommend buying it through steam or their website. Just type in Kerbal Space Program if you're playing through Steam.
