"Oh... Hey!" Bubble said, a little uncomfortably and slowing to a trot: It was the pony from the night before... Lightning Chaser, was it?

Pondah's legs dragged against the floor as Bubble dragged him into the resteraunt. "But... You don't even know when my birthday is." ​Pondah told Bubble. "How can you buy me a birthday present when you don't know when my birthday is?" ​ Pondah tried to resist Bubble's drag but his strength was not good enough.

​Pondab turned his head to face the pony addressing Bubble. He recognised him as the other pony in the alley the day before. "Hey! You were the pony in the alley! You really missed out on a good cake yesterday."

"Y-Yeah, hi Bubble." I said, blushing. I turned to the other pony, forgetting who he was until he said alley. "W-Wait...you're that pony from before! W-Wait, a good cake?" I didn't know what to say about that. "U-Uhm...oh, you mean the food cake. I missed out on cake?! That's my favorite kind of sweet!" I groaned, thinking of how delicious it must have tasted.

She froze for a short moment before shaking her head and responding to Pondah.

 

"Birthday! It doesn't matter, I'm not getting you one now, remember?" She said cheerfully. "Uhm... You should tell me anyway though, I'll probably change my mind."

Something about the new pony's voice seemed off to Pondah. After consideration, he realised that he had the wrong stallion. "Oops." ​Pondah said. "I've got the wrong pony. Sorry about that. Hello anyway." ​Pondah turned back to Bubble who was still trying to drag him around. "My birthday's 22nd of October if you really want to know."

Sunny ate her salad almost as quickly as Candy. She drank some of her apple juice and thought for a moment.

I hope I don't seem desparate or anything... This is really the first time I've actually liked somepony...

 

Candy's question took her by surprise.

"Marefriends?" she echoed, still startled.

"Well, I hope so, but I guess we can't really say so until you take me for dinner tonight," she ended with a tease, grinning at Candy.

"Wrong pony? What do you..." I then realized what might have happened. "OH, oh. Yeah..sorry about that." I muttered, blushing.

"U-Uhm...yeah, I guess that's a good idea." I mumbled, smiling. "W-Wait..." I looked in my bag. I found what I wanted- my glasses. Putting them on, I smiled and said "There. I'm complete."

Candy giggled, almost silently, for a moment, "Dinner definitely sounds nice...but whaddya say we make it more special and have our first dinner together as marefreinds?" Candy winked, and scooted closer to Sunny, then nuzzling her. "Before then, though, since we're done eating...is there anything you wanna go out and do? Marefreind?" She grinned.

"See! That wasn't so hard!" She said, realising that she should probably stop trying to drag him into the restaurant and releasing him with a sheepish grin.

 

"And mines on the fourteenth of July! Now come on! It'll be fun! Promise!" She said pleadingly, determined that she wasn't going to let him wander about miserably for at least today.

Bubble's constant glee was finally taking its toll in Pondah. With a hoof clutching his forehead, he turned to face Lightning and mouthed 'Please! Make it stop!'

 

He shuffled his way into the resteraunt, keeping his headache problem to himself and trying to leave Bubble unaware. He removed his hoof from his head when he asked Bubble, "So how do these resteraunt things work?"

"I think I can agree to that." Sunny replied, her smile widening. She nuzzled Candy back and thought about what she wanted to do. She honestly didn't know or care; as long as it was with Candy, she would be happy. "I can't actually think of anything. How about we go outside and walk around town, look for somthing to do?"

 

 

Candy took no time at all pulling bits out of her saddlebag, leaving money for the food, and dragging Sunny outside. She was beaming through the whole ordeal. After a short bit of walking, Candy thought it was safe and that there weren't many ponies around, "I've got a marefreind! I've got a marefreind!" she pranced around in a circle, not caring about her show of immaturity, and followed it up by latching onto Sunny, "This is officially the happiest moment of my life, as of now!" She smiled, and let go of Sunny. Candy then started leading them in some random direction towards...whatever they might find. She leaned against Sunny while they walked, "By the way, your bedhead this morning was really cute." She grinned.

(OOC:I was waiting for you to post! Then I got busy, then I travelled, then I had no internet, you get the idea, anyways I'm back home now.)

 

Richard walked out of the bathroom and went to the movie he was seeing, noticing that it was over and everypony had left. "Damn," Richard said, "Hey Lightning, where are you? Can you hear me?" Waiting for a response he never got, after five minutes of doing so he walked out of the theater to look for Lightning Chaser, only noticing he wasn't anywhere nearby. Everypony was ditching him lately, he thought he'd just go back to the cafe and wait for somepony to talk to him, doubtful that that was going to happen.

"You've really not done anything like this before, have you?" She flicked an ear and smiled gently: her enthusiasm quelled slightly by having to explain something that seemed so simple. "Follow me!"
 
She looked around at her other companion. She was still a little unnerved after the events of the previous night, but she wasn't one easily put off others. 
 
"Are you coming too Lightning?" She asked, returning to her usual chirpy tone.

Starshine had been following Pondah and the pink mare for a while now. He couldn't hear much of their conversation, but he vaguely heard something about chimera and a birthday cake. The pair even shared a hug. This is very interesting, mused Starshine. The pair met Lightning Chaser and the three made their way into a restaurant. Starshine's face dropped. Great, now he would lost the opportunity to know more about this chimera mare.

 

"Eh, nevermind," Starshine muttered under his breath. There would be another time for that. He would approach the mare when she's alone. With a sigh he turned away and trotted down the road, on which he ran into the pegasus from the night before.

"Hello there, Richard. Still got the hangover from yesterday?" he asked jokingly. At least the pegasus smelled a lot better than yesterday.

"Hah, roofies? Now that's some daring stuff. Don't say that you won't try that again, I've seen many stallions swore under the sun to never get wasted anymore, but in a few hours pretty much all of them dropped drunk under the bar." Starshine chuckled. Boy he considered himself lucky that his stomach still couldn't handle enough alcohol to get him drunk before passing out cold.

 

"I'm just passing through. I'm done enough with drowning this morning, I got nothing left to do." His eyes wandered. It wouldn't be until the next week before the scare around the train station faded away. He shrugged. "I think I'll stick around with you for a while. Whatcha up to?"

"Nothing much, just, wait... DROWNING?!?!?!" Exclaimed Richard. "What happened? I didn't ask for roofies and I meant I won't try that drink again, I'll still have beers and wine, maybe champagne and vodka on occasion."

Starshine laughed. The pegasus was a tad weirder than what he had expected. He waved a hoof dismissively. "Bad awakening, nothing special. If you really want to keep off the roofies, better stay away from all clubs. There is no telling when the bartender would play cheap and gives you cheap stuff instead of... campaign or whatever it was that you mentioned."

 

The colt looked around them. There was nothing worthy of notice other than a shiny looking shop across the street. "So... Richard, if you're a DJ and you're not DJ-ing, what do you do for a living?"

Whilst Pondah had been in a resteraunt before, it was a disastrous experience that he was determined not to repeat. He took a seat and stared around the resteraunt. It was the not the fanciest resteraunt in the world but that didn't mean it scrimped on the decor. Flowers garnished the walls and paintings dotted the area to create a calm atmosphere.

 

When Lighting asked what everyone was having, Pondah replied, ​"Whatever I'm allowed to have."

Starshine raised an eyebrow. Richard's story on how he broke his turntable was tad ridiculous, but then again after what had happened last night it wasn't all that impossible. Drunk stallions can be weird. "Me? Interesting?" He laughed for a moment. "I'm just your everyday street rats. I'm sure my story only have slight variations from their stories. Nothing interesting but how we feed ourselves from nothing. Not that I have any objection about it, I'm having enough fun as it is."

 

True, he was mostly having fun, but sometimes he had wished that the circumstances were different. Then again he could do nothing about it, what done is done. "Don't you have somewhere to be? Or you're just having a day off and hanging around?" he asked.

"Well...what do you mean by 'allowed'? I mean, anypony is allowed to eat anything, of course! Sugars, sweets, wheat, dairy, the possibilities are endless!" I sighed, letting out a little immaturity. "The question I'm trying to ask is why wouldn't you be allowed to eat a certain food, lie dairy, wheat etc.?"
