I can feel him starting to relax, that is a good sign. But he is still a little tense. *sigh* I get what he said about his cutie mark but, I just wish that I could do something to help him. But for now I guess my hugs will have to do. "Feeling better there Blazing?

Blazing simply nodded. He stopped hugging her after that, and hadn't gotten nervous yet. So far I'm fine... That's a good start... He thought. He was just hoping he would stay fine after that, not wanting to break down or anything. At least I'll be fine for now... I just have to stay calm like this... He thought.

"I'll be fine." Blazing said simply, not sure what else to say. "Let's just stay here for now." He said. He did want to sleep, but at the same time he didn't want to leave yet. I have a feeling I ruined this already somehow... He thought. He was almost sure he hadn't, but he still did worry that he messed up somehow.

"I'll be fine." Blazing said simply, not sure what else to say. "Let's just stay here for now." He said. He did want to sleep, but at the same time he didn't want to leave yet. "Well if you are tired but you don't want me to leave I could... well you know um," Blushing deeply Charcoal quickly tries to finish her sentence. "S-sleep with you if you want, but I don't have to if you don't want me to. I just thought it might be a good way to keep you calm and keep you company."

"Oh and by the way, I have no idea why you would want to hide such a cute blush but you really shouldn't."

Walking up to Blazing's room Charcoal opens the door and steps inside. Of coarse being a hotel room it looks exactly the same as any other room in the building. "So... is there anything you need to do before you get back to sleep or are you ready to do it now?"

Walking up to Blazing's room Charcoal opens the door and steps inside. Of coarse being a hotel room it looks exactly the same as any other room in the building. "So... is there anything you need to do before you get back to sleep or are you ready to do it now?"

"Nothing really." Blazing said simply. He wasn't sure what Charcoal meant by anything he needed to do. Although he wasn't like other ponies, even when it came to how he slept, so that could have been the problem. I kinda thought it was normal how I slept... He thought.

Blazing got into bed next to Charcoal, trying to forget about how awkward it was. Once he got into bed it seemed a lot less awkward for some reason. Well, this isn't as awkward as I expected it to be at least... He thought.

Esme took a deep breath, obviously relieved that nothing had happened. "That's good. So, which way should we try first? The café has to be one of these directions." The had slowly wandered outside while talking, so now Esme was looking left and right, trying to decide a direction.

Dog Ears looked around. He went inside to the front desk, asking if there was a cafe around. The mare gave him directions and he went back outside. "Follow me!" he exclaimed and began trotting in the direction of the cafe. He realized he looked a little silly so he stopped and waited for Esme.

Esme inwardly laughed. Dog Ears was acting like a little colt, and she had to admit it was kinda cute. Her wings unfolded, and she lifted off the ground, following him. "I suppose you know the way, huh, Grin?" Hovering for a moment, the pegasus was really cheerful. I'm rally looking forward to having breakfast, I'm sooo hungry. But won't this be kind of a date?

Dog Ears began walking again. "Yea the mare at the front desk told me where it was. Now if she was right then it should be right... here!" They were standing in front of a small little building. Dog Ears looked up at Esme. "I know this might sound weird and off topic but um.... how is it being a pegasus? Like having wings and stuff? Sometimes I feel weird around pegasi and unicorns cuz I know that they have an edge over me. Do wings feel like limbs? I can't imagine trying to move two extra legs, let alone fly with wings."

"Well, actually I can speak for both. I was a unicorn for a few days back in college. I got completely fed up with my job, so I went to Trixie for black magic. I figured they can't have a unicorn mix rainbows, let alone come up to Cloudsdale. A horn sort of feels like a random bone just sitting there, except it's not a bone. It feels warm when you use magic, not like I've ever done anything but quill levitation. Anyway, after a few days of not being able to find a better job, I transferred back to a pegasus. Wings feel a little like hooves, except they're much lighter. Also, being a pegasus, I'm only about 93 pounds. As a filly I couldn't really fly, but that was because I got my flight feathers late. And those are these babies right here."

Dog Ears nodded. Jeez being a earth pony isn't the greatest but I don't think I'd resort to dark magic. "Oh okay. Well we should probably head in to eat right? I'm pretty hungry." Dog Ears trotted merrily into the cafe, waiting for Esme to follow him. Ooh I wonder what they have?

Blazing fell asleep almost directly after Charcoal did. He hadn't expected to fall asleep so easily, but it could've just been the fact that he had already missed out on some sleep, so he was still tired. For one of the first times since getting there, he actually was able to sleep normally.

Skiping forward to when Charcoal wakes up.

Waking up Charcoal first notices that Blazing is still asleep. Slowly getting out of bed so as to not wake Blazing up she puts her glasses on and checks the time on the hotels clock on the nightstand. [11:12] "Hmm, It's almost lunch time. Maybe I could make Blazing something for lunch. But what should I make?" Going to the kitchen Charcoal looks over her options for what she could make. "Hmm, I feel like pasta would be something that should be made for dinner. I think I'll just go with a simple stew." Collecting what she needs Charcoal gets started on what she decided would be carrot stew.

Rambler nodded and moved closer to her as she wrapped her wing around him, wrapping his foreleg around her and holding her so that they were touching. "Alright. Whatever you want. All I care about on this vacation is making sure you enjoy yourself as much as possible. You deserve it after all the hard work you do, not to mention being the best marefriend a colt could ask for."

Waking up Charcoal first notices that Blazing is still asleep. Slowly getting out of bed so as to not wake Blazing up she puts her glasses on and checks the time on the hotels clock on the nightstand. [11:12] "Hmm, It's almost lunch time. In the middle of cooking Charcoal hears movement back in the bedroom. She goes back there to see if Blazing is awake yet. Looking into the room she sees Blazing awake and smiles at him. "Well now, looks who's awake. Did you have a good rest? It is almost lunch time so I decided to make something."
