Nightmare Moon

This is a picture of Nightmare Moon as depicted in the prologue of the first episode. In the background you can see the outline of Princess Luna with her head bowed in sorrow to represent her sadness and regret towards hurting Celestia and all the Ponies of Equestria. In Nightmare Moon's mane, you can see the faint outline of sleeping ponies to represent Nightmare Moon's anger towards the ponies shunning and sleeping through the night.

 

*Note: this was originally named "Rarity" so if you are looking for that post it is still here, just renamed because I will now be posting all mane 6 and some background characters.

The tail looks nice which is impressive due to the fact that Rarity's mane and tail are known to be hard to draw. However, the proportions are a bit off, and the horn should be a teeny bit thicker. Try studying the bodies of other ponies, and use them as a reference until you've learned the proportions by heart.

Thanks for the advice! I understand that the proportions are off, but it's hard to see the proportions as I am drawing. About the horn, I usually have trouble angling and sizing horns, wings, eye, and cutie marks.

Wow very good job! I think you nailed rarity's mane and tail and as others said that it is very hard to draw. I would rate this a 10/10 great job!

I like it. I'd say agruably the best parts are the mane and tail, but my favorite part is the eyes personally. the cutie mark is a little too big, but aside from that its awesome.

Proportions were already mentioned, so, great job! I think that looks really good! Especially the dress on Rarity below that. It looks very nice.

The second one, where she is wearing her Gala dress, is really awesome!  The first is ok but I still think that the second is better over all.

Those aren't bad! Rarity and Pinkie's hairstyles are very difficult (at least for me) to draw, so it's great to see you've nailed them! Keep up the great work!
