Thunder sat ontop of the roof of the motel. The motel provided a wall. And the entrance was blocked by a metal wall that stone made with her magic. It kept those things out. Thunder watched his daughter drawing and coloring on a paper in the middle of the parking lot. The rest of his group was conversing with each other. Stone doing her usual talking to sole, he kept an eye on sole. If he broke her heart. Thunder would break all of his bones.

 

He then lit a cigarette from his carton of smokes. He lit one with his lighter. Puffed, the blew out smoke from his nose. He started to smoke ever since the fog rolled in making his world a living nightmare.

 

Stone sat in her folding chair next to soles, "at least we aren't bothered by those creatures anymore?" She started

Sole smiled at stone and nodded happily "yeah... we can finally relax for a little while." He said cheerfully, as he put an arm around her. He looked over to notice thunder glaring at him and smiled. His eyes said it all "screw you and your judgment." He thought, before sighing.

Josh stared at the group around him and then opened his mouth to speak "only a matter of time before they show up again so no point in getting your hopes up that they are gone" He put his head down on his hooves and shut his eyes remembering time before all of the craziness

She looked back at sole "It should be alot better then fighting them off or running, it's been a while since we've gotten a place to stay more then a week" she said

Sole was quiet for a moment before smiling "nah, i'd still like to kick those abominations asses. But i am thankful for the rest and relaxation... especially since I can spend it with you stony." He said happily *we rarely get to enjoy moments like this anymore... I'm thankful.* he thought.

Blue frost held up her picture "it's a rainbow with a sun and clouds" she said as she looked at it closely trying to figure out if its her worthiness. But she loved it a lot so she kept in in her bag.

Stone blushed and then hugged him and just laid on his chest.

 

thunder flew down to grand, he took a puff of his cigarette before talking " ya, I have to agree with you on that, but one problem is. Who, if I go, Somepony will have to watch blue, my daughter" he said to grand.

"ill watch the kid" she said, not wanting to cause any trouble. "Its too bad there isnt anything for her to do around here" she said, realizing how much it must suck to not have any toys to play with

Crimson sighed in boredom as he laid on the rooftop of the building himself and his freinds were taking shelter on, listening quitely to the conversations of his freinds as they talked, "damn this is boring...if only I had at least found a marefreind before this shit happened, then things might have been different...but I didn't so I'm shit out of luck..." thought crimson as he looked at the sky.

"Or sole could watch my girl, he might need some practice with kids" he said. He looked at grand "I guess me and you can go scouting for now, grab anything you need before we need to go though.

Grand grabbed a pistol she had found on another trip before. she want very experienced, but she could use some spells in a worst case scenario. "Im ready whenever you are" she said, getting the nerves she usually gets before she goes into the hellish world they now call home

She has yet to go a night without having a nightmare, "do you ever think we will live normal lives again?" she said, trying to make herself happier. she already knew the answer, but she liked to imagine
