Grand nodded. "yes I was a theatre pony, and I suppose you could say I was alright" she said, not wanting to draw attention to herself. "yes, Caramel has always been a fan of the superhero comics. expect her to be following you around a bit while you stay" she said, smiling at her sister.

Ghost put his hoof behind his head and his eyes sort of darted up. "Heheh. Thanks, kid. Made it myself. Thought white and red would mix well." He then noticed that Pollux and Castor were being silent. A little too silent. "Are you two alright? You seem to have something on your mind."

Pollux looked up. "Uh yea. No worries, we're fine." Pollux knew it wasn't very believable. Castor looked at Pollux, who nodded in agreement as he knew what his brother was thinking. Castor sighed and looked at the other ponies. "Have any of you heard of Gemini? Those two thiefs?"

Fire Horn didn't want to make any contribution to the conversation, then they might ask him about his past, then the memories would return, the way it had ended just eats him from the inside, that was a skeleton he'd rather keep hidden.

 

"Hey, guys, you forgot about me." Fire Horn shouted, still tied up in the corner.

Grand looked embarassed (Jk you deserve it) and went over to untie him. "terribly sorry dear, you were just so quiet" she said, pulling the rope off. "now let me think.. I dont really keep up with the criminal ring or anything, but I may have heard about them in passing" she said, racking her brain

Ghost nodded. "Before the outbreak, they were some of the most notorious raiders and thieves in Ponyville. I guess it really doesn't matter at this point. No one really has time to track down a couple of thieves and put 'em in a cell. Not when we have the dead coming back alive to worry about."

Fire Horn dusted himself off, after all, he was tied up on the floor. When he saw Ghost, something clicked in Fire Horn's brain. Fire Horn grasped his head in pain. He looked at Ghost and asked. "Have i met you before? You look like someone i..." Fire Horn paused. "Never mind, i'm being ridiculous." Fire Horn wandered off to his room again.

Castor nodded. "Well I guess we might as well say it. We were Gemini. We were raised in an orphanage together. Once we turned 18 without anyone adopting us, we were kicked out of the orphanage. With no money and a rough real world experience, we robbed a store. And we were good at it. And we needed money. So we kept doing it. But now this whole thing has changed us. I just felt sick knowing that you guts didn't know the truth. But that part of our past is gone, so hopefully you don't think any different of us."

Grand laughed "well clearly you've changed, otherwise you would have been the ones coming to take our food" she said, looking at the twins with a warm smile. "Trust me, your skills might be useful now anyways. Now fire horn, what in earth are you going on about? We haven't seen this colt around, we haven't seen anyone around now that I think about it..."

As Ghost watched Fire leave, he thought to himself "Come to think of it... he does look familiar." After the outbreak, Ghost lost most of his memory. He could only remember three things; his name, his family and friends, and what he wanted to do with himself.

Ghost's eyes widened. "Whoa... well, I guess we can't really do anything about it now. Right now, what's important is teamwork. If you ponies can cooperate and act as a singular unit, you should get by just fine."

Fire Horn was in his room, searching his saddlebags for something, a journal, in it were crazy drawings of a sword. A spirit.

"This is another sign, something is going to happen, i can feel it." Fire Horn whispered to himself crazily. The dreams had started one day, when he woke up the morning of the outbreak, he could feel something, something was wrong.

Pollux flashed a smile at Ghost's last comment. "How do you think we pulled off so many successful heists together?" He said in a upbeat tone. Castor shook his head. "Honestly Pol how can you just say that so lightly?" Pollux just snorted and looked at Caramel. "Sorry if we disappointed you kid. But maybe now we can use our skills in scavenging instead of robbing, right?"

Ghost nodded, finished his ration, and got up. "Well, it's about time I hit the old dusty trail. It was nice to get to know some of you. Maybe our paths will cross again sometime." Ghost then opened up the front door. He turned into a red and black dust cloud and flew off into the distance. When he arrived back at his shack, he turned on the light and lied on his bed. He hung up his mask and smiled. "Pretty nice group. They all seem to have each other's backs. Something I see rarely in the world these days."

Caramel looked at the twins. "I still like you, you bring everyone food and you help keep us safe!" She said happily. "So that means that you guys are the good guys." She walked over and dug through the pile before grabbing a can of peaches, her favorite and began chowing down

Fire Horn was scanning through his journal, it was definitely him, the masked vigilante who saves the survivors, that was him. There was also a picture of Grand with 3 legs, this confused him, but it's what he saw in his dreams, his nightmares. He kept searching.

Grand sighed as the Masked vigilante left. She had hoped he would stay longer. she walked over to Firehorn, who looked a little pale. "are you alright there Fire? you look like youve just seen a ghost?" she said, noticing the notebook he was holding with his magic (definitely not hands). "have you eaten yet?maybe you just need some food" she says, trying to coax him back to the rest of the group

Fire Horn quickly levitated the journal back into his bag, if Grand saw that, she'd probably get the wrong idea, and even if he did explain it, they'd all think he was crazy.

"I'm fine, really. I was just thinking, he seems familiar, like he's a friend of mine from another life. But that doesn't make sense..." Fire Horn said.

Grand looked at him with a confused expression. "I think you just need a bit of food in you, here have a granola bar, maybe youll feel better" she said before returning to the rest of the group, hoping Fire would follow. "so perhaps we should discuss finding a new place to stay, no doubt more bandits will come back, and they now know we have supplies"

Soon enough, Stephan fell asleep on his bed inside his shack. He has the same nightmare that he's been having for the past month. The nightmare with that super-trotter. He's never had a closer call than the one he had with that beast. He never really caught her name, though. All he could remember was the screech. That damn, ear-piercing screech could send a whole pack of trotters in your direction in a matter of minutes.

Stephan woke up with a start. "That super trotter... I can't get her out of my head. She was just so powerful. More powerful than any trotter hoard." He put his mask back on and walked outside. "Maybe I just need some air." Ghost walked onto the street and and started to run as fast as he could, leaving a red blur in his path.

Fire Horn followed Grand out into the lobby, although he was there, he was trying to maintain a safe distance away from them. He didn't want them asking about his past or anything, Something came to him, Fire Horn clutched his head in pain again. This time, it was something to do with Grand. Her sister. Everfree Forest. Potions. Cages. Fire Horn ran out of the hospital and onto the streets, he ran in some direction, he wasn't sure which.

Grand watched as firehorn ran out the door. Caramel looked scared. "Is fire gonna be alright?" she asked Grand with big eyes. "Of course, he just went to get some fresh air" she said, though she wasnt sure. It certainly wasnt safe for him to be out there on his own." you stay here with the twins, Ill go see whats bothering him alright?" she said to her sister before bolting after Fire

Ghost had been running for about 30 minutes now. The thought of the super trotter still haunted him. He worried about the group of survivors he came across, though. He wanted to help them survive. He went back to his house to get some of his spare food scraps to give to the group. As he was on his way back, he ran into Fire. "Whoa!" He screeched to a halt. "Hey, you're one of the survivors from earlier. What are you doing out here?"

Fire Horn stared blankly at Ghost for a minute, but then he started to speak:
"I'm sorry, i can't stay, i've got... things... to do in the... yeah." Fire Horn ran past Ghost and into an alleyway.
It was too much for him to handle, knowing that these "dreams" may well be visions of the future, but if he told anyone, no-one would believe him.

Grand walked around the city, looking for Firehorn. "that darn pony, running off by himself." she huffed, walking the streets without much idea of where he had ran off to or why. "Fire! Where are you!" she called, lookng down alleys and streets. She sighed and hoped he hadnt gotten himself into trouble

Fire Horn stared blankly at Ghost for a minute, but then he started to speak:

Ghost was perplexed by Fire's odd behavior. Why was he acting like this. "I can't help but wonder. What's up with him? What's on his mind. And why does he seem like someone I've seen before? I guess the only way to find out is to find him and ask him myself." Ghost ran to the top of a building and followed him to the alleyway.

Ghost saw Fire in the alley and was about to confront him. He then noticed that he was under-going a breakdown of some sort. Maybe deep in thought? He couldn't be sure. "He can wait. I need to get supplies for the group." He jumped down from the building and ran into Grand. "Whoa. I'm running into you guys all over the place."
